Beckett and Presley are very different people. Presley is a woman who has carefully laid plans, a list of things to accomplish and few close relationships. Beckett put his family above all else, and would make any sacrifice to ensure his siblings and parents are doing well, which often means limiting his opportunities. When Presley unexpectedly finds herself alone, after a break up at a small lodge, she is way out of her comfort zone. Here she finds Beckett where all her plans start to not feel like what she wants in life. This book will make you want to find your own hot mountain man, go hiking, fishing and visit small towns. It was a fun read!

This book was difficult for me to get through. The story taking place over ten days made the slow pacing super tedious. Overall, insta-love romances are always a hit or miss for me, and this one was the latter.

Thank you to Netgalley and St. Martin’s Griffin for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was an incredibly sweet book. I found myself wishing I lived in the town of Smile. Presley and Beckett came from different worlds, but they were a perfect match. It was cute watching them try so hard not to fall for each other, yet obviously failing in the process.

Thanks as always to NetGalley for the ARC.

It was certainly cute, though it dragged a bit too much for an insta-love. Plus, I would have loved to see Presley tell off her boss lol that would have been a fun conversation.

Sweet read, the only issue was that it either dragged or (I hate to say it) was too long.

thank you Netgalley for the free copy

Sophie Sullivan’s books always leave me with the biggest smile. they are fun, quirky, and cute!

a city girl meets a mountain man, and finds herself in an environment outside her comfort zone— only to find exactly what she has been missing.

this closed door romance has found family, opposites attract, a small town, and lovable characters- pick this book up when it comes out in January!

thank you to @netgalley and St. Martin’s Griffin for the ARC!

Let me just start this off by saying I devoured this book. Thank you so much to Netgalley and St. Martins Press for allowing me to read an ARC of it. I was so invested in this book and while getting to know the characters and Get Lost as well as the townspeople of Smile I was hoping it would never end. Sophie Sullivans writing is amazing and after reading Love, Naturally I would love to go and buy more of her books. The characters in this book just felt so real to me and sometimes I would forget I was even reading. I usually bring my Kindle with me to work so I can read on my breaks and every single time my break would end my mind wouldn't leave this story I would immediately want to go pick it back up and continue. I don't want to ramble on for too long but I can't wait to hear other people's thoughts on this book when it comes out. I hope they love it just as much as I do.

I DNF this book at 51%
Unfortunately this book was too tedious for me. It went by very slowly and the author wrote each chapter having us read basically every minute of her 10 day trip. So we basically watch the heroine fall madly in love with a man she just met. Since it was only like day 4 at 51% I couldn’t take it anymore. Presley is a city girl who ended up on a remote island wilderness retreat alone because she broke up with her boyfriend when he didn’t want to go with her on this surprise trip. She meets Beckett, part of the family that owns it, and so starts a slow going minute by minute 10 day trip where they fall in love. Also the biggest issue Beckett agonizes over was whether to tell his family he may have a new job or open his own business and how it will hurt them if he can’t help at the retreat. I thought honestly this is childish and way too little of a deal to be so stressed over it through the whole book bringing it up often. I may skim over to the end but honestly I have zero interest in the outcome of their love story. And please when you write in lgbtq characters and add in characters like they/them don’t make it so obvious you’re trying to be an ally. Like who cares that they saw they/them in the parking lot. Maybe if they were a character from the beginning or part of the family they would have been awesome. But it was so forced trying to include all gender pronouns/identities. Everyone wants to be represented but make it flow and make them all just a natural part of the story.

Love, Naturally is Sophie Sullivan’s newest romantic novel and it should not be missed! I have loved all of Sullivan’s previous novels and Love, Naturally was a delight! Presley has planned an epic trip for her boyfriend, but when he dumps her, she finds herself headed to the rugged outdoors in Michigan alone. Pressley prefers the indoors to the outdoors and luxury over rugged, but here she is, determined to conquer her solo trip. In Michigan, Presley finds herself thrust among the guests and family members that own Get Lost Lodge. They’re endearing, complicated and one, Beckett, is more than a little attractive. I loved watching Presely learn about herself, come to the aid of strangers and rally behind Get Lost Lodge. Love, Naturally is an excellent romance book between two seemingly opposite individuals. Anyone looking for a well-written, light and entertaining read will be pleased with Love, Naturally!

A sincere thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Absolutely fantastics. I love all of Sophie's books, and this is no exception. I was a little unsure about people falling in love in a week, but of course she made it work. Sophie has quickly become a one-click author for me.

CW: divorce (recounted)

I would like to thank NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for providing me with a free e-ARC of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.

After getting unceremoniously dumped, Presley Ayers goes on what would have been a couples trip to Get Lost Lodge with her ex, now solo. While there, she meets Beckett Keller, one of the Lodge’s employees who dreams of venturing out to run his own business. Though they are complete opposites and Presley is staying at Get Lost for one week, Beckett and Presley can’t help falling for each other.

Love, Naturally is a cute rom-com for readers looking for an opposites-attract trope set in a small resort town. Sullivan provides a good concept for a romance within a wilderness lodge and I enjoyed the nature aspects that Love, Naturally provided. Her writing is able to draw you in on the small town charm that Smile has to offer while also giving some gorgeous imagery of being out in nature. While I felt like some of Sullivan’s writing dragged on in certain scenes, I didn’t find it to be a huge issue.

One of the things I really liked about Love, Naturally is the romance between Presley and Beckett. Both of these characters complement each other so well and there are some great dynamics between them in the book. You will swoon over how cute their relationship is and the ending can make any hopeless romantic sigh happily.

That being said, if you’re looking for a rom-com set in nature featuring an opposites-attract trope that turns out to be soulmates, keep your eye out for Love, Naturally next year.

Rounded up from 4.5
Presley is stuck going on a camping trip she bought as a surprise for her boyfriend's birthday because he dumped her. Camping is not really her thing, but how bad can it be? Beckett, whose family owns the lodge, sees right through her act: that woman does not belong there. And yet, he can't help being drawn to her...
This is an opposites attract, forced proximity, insta love, fade to black romance with small town vibes. Since I really loved other Sophie Sullivan's books (the Jansen's Brothers series: How to Love Your Neighbor, A Guide to Being Just Friends and Ten Rules for Faking It), I wanted to give this one a try, and I was not disappointed! I would even love to see more of this family (Jill and Ollie, Grayson, and Rylee) in a series. Ollie is adorable and I loved all of the side characters. I didn't even mind the third act break up, since I think in one of the rare instances, it needed to be part of the plot and you do see it coming from the beginning since Presley is only at the lodge for ten days. Could Beckett have handled it better? Yes. But I loved his grand gesture to get her back, it was so fitting in today's world (and hers). The story is told in dual POVs, but both are third person and I did not really feel any true distinction between the two. I liked that Presley challenged herself to do these things even if she didn't have to "impress" Emmett anymore. Beckett is really a lot more than a hot mountain man, and I liked that Presley was annoyed and felt guilty for that image, and that she was defending him. I would totally see this as a Hallmark movie!
I received an advance review copy of this book for free, and I'm leaving this review voluntarily.

Love, Naturally is an adorable mix of romance tropes with a family run business at its heart. Similar to Tessa Bailey (without the heat) or Sarah Adams, it was a fun, light read perfectly relatable whether you love the great outdoors, or not.

I think there is a definite audience for a romance like this…cozy, sweet, kind, closed door and well written. For someone who is going through a tough time or just needs an escape, this is a great book. I honestly was bored at times. I needed a little more angst and maybe a little less sweetness. So maybe this book wasn’t really for me at this time but it will find an audience who loves it and it deserves to do so.

Love, Naturally reads as a very unique rom com. I loved the trope of the FMC breaking up with a horrible boyfriend and moving on to what she deserves!!! The book fell a bit flat for me outside of this, it just wasn't what I was in the mood for this summer, I feel like as a mood reader this would be a beautiful spring or fall book. Definitely check it out if you enjoy romance books!

this was my first read from this author! This was such a cute, wholesome read.

Presley planned a surprise vacation for her boyfriend and her to enjoy quality time together. Her view on their relationship was drastically different than her boyfriends, so much so she ended up taking the vacation alone.

Enter hot mountain man 😏 Beckett works at the lodge Presley was headed off too. The insta connection was cute to read, swoony.

The book had a lot going on, it wasn’t strictly focused on Beckett and Presley’s romance which sometimes made it hard to follow, however I loved this little town and lodge 🫶🏼

Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book!

This book was cute! I love small town romances and this one was no exception. It felt like a modern day Hallmark movie (with influencers) and the cast of characters was so fun, especially the main characters Presley and Beckett whose journey I enjoyed following.
The book is written in third person dual POV which didn’t work super well for me as it was a little confusing to follow whose turn it was and I wasn’t as immersed and invested as I think I would have been in first person POV. The pacing felt a little off at times and some parts were rushed whereas others dragged on and on and yeah… I kept waiting for spice where there was none lol. The romance was cute and wholesome though. I expected a little more but overall still enjoyed this book. 3.75 stars!

I think this might be my favorite Sophie Sullivan book.
I loves Presley and Beckett. I loved the town and the lodge. I really enjoy when a place feels like a character to me and that’s what Smile and Get Lost Lodge felt like. The side characters were so good and have left me wanting more of Smile and Get Lost Lodge. From Grayson to Rylee to Jill, they were all so interesting and kind. And let’s not forget the rest of the towns people.
This was such a fun warm romance.

I absolutely LOVED this book!! Presley plans a surprise trip for her boyfriend and he ends hating the idea and their relationship ends. She decides to go on the trip anyway and meets the mountain man. With two separate agendas in mind, Presley to heal from her breakup, and Beckett to help his siblings with the resort and pitch his new idea. There is no room for a relationship or even a fling, but these two couldn't fight fate. Not to mention they are total opposites!

This love story was so heart warming! I loved the cast and the family dynamic represented so much.

Thank you so much St. Martin's Press, St. Martin's Griffin, Sophie Sullivan and NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.
