3.75🌟. Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for the e-arc of Sophie Sullivan’s newest romance book, Love, Naturally, in exchange for my honest review.

This is my new favorite Sophie Sullivan novel.

Summary:
When city-girl, Presley surprises her boyfriend of 8 months with a surprise vacation to Get Lost Lodge near Lake Michigan and he dumps her instead, she decides to go at it alone. She hops on the plane, takes a boat, steps into the cute small town, and Get Lost Lodge.
Arriving at Get Lost Lodge, Beckett can tell this beautiful city woman is out of her element. She doesn't fish, hike, or generally like nature and Beckett has more important things on his mind. With his family's crumbling lodge and a dream that he keeps putting off, he doesn't have time for Presley or any of the attraction he feels toward her. They are complete opposites, but you know what they say about opposites- they attract.

This fun rom-com story includes all the favorites:
- Mountain Man meets City Girl
- Instant-Love
- Found Family
- Closed-door romance
- Opposites Attract
- Forced Proximity
- Dual POV
I really enjoyed this romance. Beckett and Presley's chemistry was so fresh and perfect.
I do wish there was more alone time between them to defend how quickly they fell. They spend a lot of time sprucing up the lodge, but I wanted more scenes of Beckett & Presley. The one thing I was confused about was Presley's social media influencer status and how she was able to get so much business for the Lodge in such a short time. However, this was integral to the storyline and her integration into the family. Also, I have to shed light on the side characters! They were perfect. If this does not become a series, I would be so sad. Please tell me we will get Jill and Greyson's love stories!! I will devour more in this small town & family!

Love, Naturally was basically what I anticipated it would be- an easy, sort of corny romance that I could read to relax. I am always a sucker for a small town where everyone knows and loves each other. The main character got under my skin a bit- I’m not really sure why, but I just couldn’t relate to her. She had very low standards for her life and then sort of stumbled into an insta-love situation, which I found less believable because she thought she loved her tool of a boyfriend two days prior. All in all, not my favorite. But would I read the obvious sequel they are planning? Probably.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the ARC of this sweet romance!
I enjoyed it overall! As withost romances l, I knew exactly what was going to happen from the start but I still enjoyed the journey.
On the heels of an unexpected breakup, Presley goes to a small town and takes a vacation at a lodge. There she meets Becket and the rest is just a sweet love story. I would recommend it if you're looking for something sweet and predictable.

Oh my goodness did I LOVE this book!! (Just like I have loved all of Sophie Sullivan's books)

I connected with Presley wholeheartedly. She was an amazing character and I love her initial attraction to Beckett PLUS her connection with his entire family. I was cheering her on the whole dang time!!!

Speaking of Beckett, I don't know who is hotter: Sophie Sullivan's hot mountain man or B.K. Borison's grumpy animal lover (Both are swoon worthy but sexy mountain man FTW!!!).

There are so many amazing tidbits I could write about this book (The hiking! The Band Aids! Ollie! Mr. D! Everythinggg) but all I can say is GET LOST in the book and enjoy it for yourself!!

Thank you to Netgalley and St Martins Press for an eARC of Love, Naturally.

This was such a cute story. Presley definitely comes off as a naive, people pleaser st the beginning of the book. However, her trip to the Get Lost resort really opens her eyes to a new reality. I really loved her and Beckett together.

I definitely recommend this book.

This book has ruined me for other books. I still have a book hangover weeks after reading this. Love! Love! Love!

First, I LOVE Beckett! *Swoon* I also love that we had duel POVs so we get to be in his head, Really understand his perspective. It makes it easy to understand how he acts and what drives him.

Presley is also wonderful. She takes on things she has never done, challenges herself, and learns a lot about herself along the way.

I would also be remiss if I did not mention the supporting characters, they are PERFECTION!! If this does not become a series i will be devastated. I want to see Beckett’s brother and sister find love!! Sign me up! I am officially a Sophie Sullivan super fan!!

Thank you NetGalley and St. Martin’s Griffin for the ARC!

“I fell in love. The real kind that won’t go away. And it hurts.”

If you like sweet romances, with the found family trope, lots of lovable side characters and very little drama, this book is for you!

Presley surprises her boyfriend with his dream vacation in northern Michigan, at a lodge that offers hiking, fishing, and many other outdoor activities. Instead of them going together, Presley and Emmett end up breaking up and she goes on the trip alone in the hopes to find herself. Instead, she finds a lovable family that runs the lodge, and Beckett, the hot mountain man that seems to read her so well and help her through whatever she needs.

The romance in this book is quite instant, since Presley is on vacation for only ten or so days, and they give into their attraction pretty early on. Personally, I would have liked a bit more tension, but it was cute all the same.

I really liked the setting of the place, and I jumped on the chance to read this book when I saw it was based in Michigan. While the town of Smile is fictional, most of the descriptions were very nicely detailed and I could envision being up north.

However, I did have to criticize a couple things, the first one being that Presley mentions going hiking on a mountain. Considering the setting is on a Northern Michigan island, there really won’t be many mountains there - maybe some hills. The second one is when Beckett was teaching Presley how to fish and she said she wanted to throw the fish back in the “ocean”. Freshwater lakes are the most you’ll find in Michigan.

Maybe I was being too critical of a fictional island town, but if you can look past that and a couple continuity errors, the book is overall very enjoyable.

Tropes:

🐟 Insta love
🐟 Found family
🐟 Closed door romance
🐟 City girl x small town guy
🐟 Dual POV

Presley Ayers is not the camping type, but she's going to suck it up for a surprise weeklong vacation for her boyfriend's birthday. Oh, except he's not thrilled about the surprise and he dumps her. She decides to take the trip herself anyways.

Beckett Keller is helping fix up the crumbling lodge, and he can't believe this city woman is out here for a nature adventure on her own. She's stepping out of her comfort zone, and he'll do everything he can to make a resort guest happy.

Presley and Beckett fall hard and fast for each other. Their relationship is fun to watch, and this opposites-attract love is a cute read. I really loved the nature vibe of the story. This is a great beach read (or if you're like me, a chill-out-on-the-deck-in-the-sun read). I want my own Beckett, please!

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the eARC in exchange for an honest review!

This is definitely my new fave from Sophie Sullivan. I was talking to a friend about this book and we both agreed that the best kind of romance is the kind where you are so invested that you don't even realize that it's closed door.

When Presley plans a vacation surprise for her boyfriend and everything goes as wrong as possible, she ends up at a fishing resort alone. She fully expects to wallow in netflix and chocolate, but finds that the family and guests at the resort are the true gift. Her romance with Beckett is sweet and swoony and moves at just the right pace. The side characters are perfection. The town is so much fun. The setting is the perfect balance of providing background and texture without being overwhelming to the story. Please tell me that we are going to get Jill and Greyson's stories, too!

If enjoyed this book as much as I did, please go back and read Sophie's Jody Holford books. They are fantastic.

when Presley Ayers buys her boyfriend a weekend away in northern michigan, she doesn't expect to end up single and going alone. she's a city girl at heart and hiking, boating, and fishing are not up her alley. when she meets Beckett, she doesn't expect to end up falling for the rough around the edges, nature obsessed guy. "Love, Naturally" takes place in the cutest town, that you're sure to fall in love with. this book felt like a dream, a place we all dream of stumbling upon in our lifetime.
the love interest is so sweet + swoon worthy, the location and vibes are immaculate, and we have a sweet, independent, lovable mc. i will say, as a michigander there were some untrue "facts" about the state (such as lake michigan being the largest lake) which threw me off a bit, but if you're not knowledgeable on michigan then it shouldn't be an issue. it was slightly slow at times, but it didn't really affect my enjoyment of the story. this was the perfect summer read, and i can't wait for the world to fall in love with Beckett like i did 🥹

"Love Naturally" will be out to the world on January, 16th 2024.

Tropes:
- opposites attract
- instaa-love
- expiration date
- small town
- found family
Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for providing me with an arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Presley Ayers, social media personality and concierge extraordinaire books a 10-day couples get-away at Get Lost Lodge to celebrate her partner's birthday. However, when she presents him with her gift, he breaks up with her instead. Devastated, Presley decides to go on the trip solo, despite thriving in the city and finding no comfort in outdoor activities.

Upon arrival at the Lodge, she meets an eclectic group of characters, including the owner's brother, Beckett Keller. Beckett knows Presley does not have an outdoorsy bone in her body, but begins falling for her anyway. Despite Presley's type-A personality and need for control of all situations, she finds herself instantly falling for Beckett as well. Throughout her stay at Get Lost Lodge, Presley and Beckett develop a connection so strong, there's no telling what they will do for each other.

Overall, I enjoyed this book. I loved the neverending slew of characters, both from the Lodge and the adjacent town, and I especially loved Beckett's family. I saw a lot of myself in Presley and her need for control. I think a lot of us could learn a little bit from her letting go and learning to trust what the universe has in store for us.

For a book that relies on an instant love connection between the two main characters, I was missing a little bit of a spark between them. Maybe it was my own need for control and fear of change interfering but I needed a little bit more of an undeniable attraction. Don't get me wrong, it was there and you knew these two had an attraction they wanted to deny, but I just needed a little bit more.

"How do you say goodbye to the person you want to say good morning and good night to every day for the rest of your life?"

If you're looking for a charming story that is so much more than two people falling for each other, this is the book for you. Sophie Sullivan is an excellent author and draws you in with her plot and incredible roster of supporting characters.

If you're in the mood for a heartwarming small town romance with a Hallmark movie vibe, "Love Naturally" is the book for you! Despite my initial hesitation about insta-love as a trope, I ended up enjoying this delightful read for what it truly is.

Now, let's talk about the romance. At first, I was a bit skeptical about the whole love at first sight thing, as I usually prefer slow burn connections. However, surprise, surprise, the chemistry between Presley and Beckett was undeniable! From the get-go, you could feel that they genuinely liked each other and were falling in love in a sweet and endearing way.

The small town setting added a charming touch to the story, and the cast of characters that came with it was just perfect. I could totally see this book being turned into a heartwarming Hallmark movie, and I'd be here for it with a bowl of popcorn in hand.

Now, I must admit, there was one thing that left me scratching my head a bit. Presley being an influencer with a massive following, and yet also working as a hotel concierge looking for a promotion felt a tad confusing. However, I understand that both elements were essential to the plot and her integration into the lives of the folks in Smile.

Overall, "Love Naturally" provided a great time filled with love, laughter, and a small-town charm that wraps around you like a cozy blanket. If you're looking for a feel-good romance with a dash of insta-love, this book will undoubtedly warm your heart. Many thanks to NetGalley and St. Martin's Griffin for providing me with the eARC. It was a lovely ride!

Looking for an exhilarating romance? LOVE, NATURALLY is an adventurous, humorous, and amorous tale that will tug on your heart strings. Presley Ayers, a sparkly, pretty associate concierge works at a hotel. She plans a romantic vacation at a remote fishing lodge for herself and her boyfriend. Her best friend Rylee is concerned, knowing how Presley always gives more of herself in a relationship than her partner. Well, the jerk breaks up with her! She feels lost, unappreciated and decides to go on the vacation herself. Has she made the right decision?

Presley escapes to Get Lost Lodge situated in a remote village. She wants to gain perspective over what to do next in life. She is shocked that her planned vacation is totally, over-the-top, back to nature. Hiking, fishing, boating, camping is not Presley's forte. However, the eye man candy, Beckett Keller, might help pass the time. Presley is not looking for a relationship though, after having her heart stomped on. She meets the family, the Kellers, who own the lodge and instantly bonds with them. The lodge is in disrepair, with Beckett working non-stop to help his siblings out. Beckett's dreams are put on hold. He makes choices that help everyone around him, but sadly not his own.

The attraction between Beckett and Presley is undeniable. Fate throws them together in impossible ways. Will nature boy and city girl throw caution to the wind?

LOVE, NATURALLY is a touching, entertaining story of opposites-attract. Beckett is at a crossroads in his life. He's used to leaving his needs behind, while helping others out. Presley is a determined, independent lady without an anchor. She needs to refuel, relax and regain ideas on what to do next in her life. I loved the respect and support they give one another as they work things out. Their dynamic attraction is hot! Ms. Sullivan expertly plots a wonderful tale of romance, emotions, and family relationships. I fell in love with all the engaging characters. The author perfectly details emotional upheaval in all sticky situations that happens at hotels. A soul-warming, powerful, romance drama!

Love, Naturally is a very sweet and fun read. It follows Presley Ayers who is a big city girl with plans for a 10 day vacation for her and her boyfriend. A breakup leaves Presley to take a vacation to remote Get Lost Lodge on her own.

Beckett Keller works at the Get Lost Lodge to help his brother with repairs while they try to get the lodge updated and improved.

Beckett is a small town, outdoors guy who will do anything for his family, even putting off his own dreams and Presley is a big city girl with an ambitious career. When the two meet at the lodge anything can happen.

This is a super cute story with closed door romance. If you want a feel good story with two very sweet and adorable main characters and a charming backdrop this is for you.

Thank you to St. Martin’s Press and NetGalley for the e-ARC. All opinions are my own.

I loved this sweet story! Presley is such a kind, loving person and I love that she goes on the vacation she planned for her and her (now ex) jerk boyfriend. She is nervous and anxious about various things, but doesn't let that keep her from going on an adventure! I loved Beckett too! He was such a sweetheart, loving his family and wanting them to be well taken care of, putting his life plans on hold to make sure they're covered.
I loved Beckett and Presley together! They bring out the best of each other-- Beckett making Presley more comfortable in this adventure, and Presley giving Beckett some fun and excitement while home with his family. Both of them are just such good, loveable people, you can't help but root for them! I also loved all the side characters, and how loving they are.
Overall, just a lovely, sweet, fun story that left me feeling all warm and snuggly.
Thank you for the ARC!!!

Presley plans a fun 10 day trip to a remote lake lodge for her boyfriend's birthday, only for him to dump her so she goes on the trip by herself. Presley loves shopping and the city life, she is not built for the wilderness, hiking, or fishing. Thankfully, she meets hot mountain man Beckett and his family who take her under their wing and show her what familial love looks like. And maybe a different kind of love from Beckett too.
This book was so fun and I felt like I was there with the characters. But it moved way too slow for my taste. I didn't know a 300 page book could feel soooo long. That being said, I really did enjoy the story. You could really see the characters growth and depth. It is definitely a fun summer read. The kind you want to take to a remote lodge and read while curled up on a porch swing.

This book was sweetness overload and I mean that in the best way. Everyone and everything was on the edge of being a little too perfectly aligned, but to me it was all so endearing anyway. Sometimes you just need to read a book where even the idea that nothing could last wasn’t distressing because you know somehow it would all work out in the end.

Presley ends up taking a total fish-out-of-water (literally at times) vacation to a remote resort that was meant to be a gift to experience together with her now-ex boyfriend. She meets Beckett, who is helping his brother and sister renovate the resort while trying to figure out his own path. What’s meant to be a short vacation fling quickly grows much deeper despite having a set end date.

I liked Presley a lot. I liked that her breakup snapped her out of holding herself back, accommodating to others needs ahead of her own, and staying complacent. She really embraced the opportunity to try as many new things as possible at the resort. I also really liked Beckett and his devotion to his family. Their relationship was pretty instant but wasn’t written in an instalove way that felt cheesy. To me it just felt like they had a a very deep, genuine connection as soon as they met. That’s hard to write well and I thought it was done so here. As I said before, yes, everyone was borderline too perfect of a fit for their roles, but I was apparently in the exact right mood for this because I fully enjoyed it.

My only complaints are that I do wish there had been more conversations about options beyond Presley’s departure date, and social media playing a big role in the book as a whole always kind of takes me out of a story a bit. Other than that, I thought this was a lovely story of found family and self discovery while falling in love with a person and place that feels like an immediate fit.

To be honest, this was one of the most cringy and unrealistic romances I've read in a while. The main character, Presley, got out of a relationship, traveled on a solo trip, and jumped into a relationship with another man basically within 24-48 hours. The events that the author wrote just made Presley come off as very codependent. The development between Presley and Beckett came off as insta-love and felt very unromantic to me. The upside was the premise with the lodge and all of the side characters. I wish we had seen more of them, especially Ollie, to make the story feel more authentic and less forced. Alas, this book was not for me.

Perfect read by a perfect writer. The cover drew me to the book, but the characters and setting made me stay engrossed in every page. I loved it.
