This book grabbed me from the first paragraph and I couldn't put it down! After Presley surprises her boyfriend with a well thought out gift & he dumps her, she decides to go on the trip (totally out of her comfort zone) herself. There she meets Beckett whose family owns the Get Lost Lodge that she is staying at. Presley falls for everything at the lodge, including Beckett despite her wanting just a week long fling. Beckett falls just as hard, as does his niece and rest of the family. This is the perfect beach read, sweet, fun and I didn't want it to end! I cannot wait to read more written by Sophie Sullivan.

I really enjoyed this book, and not just for the romance. Part of the appeal was reading about all the intricacies of creating a new, viable business when you don't have pots of money. Another appealing aspect is that this is a family business. This is also very much an opposites attract romance. Presley Ayers and Beckett Keller could not be more different.

Presley is a city girl, and works for a large hotel. She has just been dumped by her boyfriend. She had been expecting a proposal when she booked them into the Get Lost Lodge. Instead, she made the trip alone and found out the Lodge was on an island. Presley is terrified of water.

A rough looking man picked her up in a boat to take her to the Lodge. While still terrified by being in the boat, she was also terrified that he was a serial killer since he barely spoke on the trip. Beckett has his own ambitions for his future, but he can't see a way to realize them while his family needs him. He was in a pretty grim mood and couldn't imagine why a woman like Presley would choose to stay at the Lodge. She was obviously city and terrified of water.

Presley was thrilled to make it to land alive. Her cabin was really rustic, and definitely not ready for occupancy. She quickly learned that the Lodge was not ready to open, but an ad had been mistakenly placed, and the family did not want to disappoint people who wanted to stay at the lodge. She found herself pitching in and helping the Keller family out as new customers began arriving.

I enjoyed this story very much. What I appreciated the most about it was how the family members supported and encouraged each other. I received an e-ARC from the publisher St. Martin's Press via NetGalley, and voluntarily read and reviewed this book.

This is definitely my favorite of Sophie Sullivan's books!

Presley's perfectly planned vacation with her boyfriend goes up in smoke when he essentially lets her know that he'd prefer to spend 10 days in the woods with just about anyone but her. Determined to make the best of the situation, she takes the vacation on her own. While there, she meets the ruggedly handsome, Beckett, who works at Get Lost Lodge and is the brother of the owner. She pushes herself outside of her comfort zone--hiking, fishing, biking--and in the process falls for Beckett.

Beckett is a definite cinnamon roll, who sees everything she brings to both he and his family. And, while the main love story is between Presley and Beckett, the true heart of the story, for me, is how much she falls for Beckett's family, finds a place in a loving and supportive band of siblings, and sees how much she's made herself small for others. It's a sweet story of forced proximity, found family, and opposites attract.

However, as a native Michigander, I just have to say how much the setting and the description of the setting took me out of the story. There are definitely mountains in Michigan, but not on an island. And how is the lodge's island big enough for them regardless? Also, the northern tip of Michigan is not 40 minutes north of Mackinaw City (the world always forgets about the Upper Peninsula). And the largest lake is Lake Superior, which is also not 40 minutes north of Mackinaw City. Sullivan is playing fast and extremely loose with geography. This is obviously a VERY NICHE complaint, but still! I can suspend disbelief on a lot of things, but this just wasn't it!

I feel really bad that I didn't finish this! I had first discovered Sophie Sullivan from NetGalley when I was approved for A Guide to Being Just Friends (which I loved!) so of course, I was excited to have been approved for Love Naturally, Sadly, Love Naturally did nothing for me. It was boring and I often found myself reaching for other books instead of picking up this one. I wish it worked out because I loved the Jansen Brothers series, but I had to throw in the towel.

Another great sweet romance from Sophie Sullivan! LOVED the setting as much as I loved the characters and their chemistry (and that was a lot). The fish-out-of-water, found family, forced proximity, and small town tropes worked perfectly together here. Ollie tended to steal the show, as she is meant to, I bet.

Hoping we get books for the other Keller siblings next: I need more of Get Lost Lodge!

4 Stars Love, Naturally by Sophie Sullivan was a sweet opposites-attract, closed-door romance. City girl Presley Ayers booked a ten-day trip to the Get Lost Lodge in northern Michigan for her boyfriend's birthday...only to dump him when he says he'd rather take someone else than her and she read too much into their relationship. Looking to get out of her comfort zone and try new things, Presley goes on the trip alone and meets Beckett Keller, the owner's brother. The Keller siblings--owner, Grayson, Beckett, and their younger sister, Jilly--along with Jilly's daughter Ollie, are trying to get the lodge up and running after Grayson got it in his divorce six months ago. There's a lot of work to be done, so Beckett feels guilty that he may leave his siblings in the lurch to pursue a new venture--either opening a new branch of a sporting goods store for his boss or opening his own bike rental shop. Even though they are total opposites, Presley and Beckett quickly realize their attraction to each other is more than just physical. But their relationship is short lived since Presley is leaving soon.

This was an adorable romance, and I expected nothing less after reading Sophie Sullivan's other books. I'm hoping that this is the start of a new series with Grayson's and Jilly's books next, and with more glimpses at the small town of Smile and much more of Ollie and her adorableness!

If you like clean/closed door romance this is for you. It is an insta love story and is a little slow going but ends nicely if you’re willing to push through.

Presley, the FMC, plans a trip for her boyfriend only for him to end things with her the day they were set to leave. She takes this outdoorsy trip by herself anyways to get out of her comfort zone. While there she meets Beckett, the MMC and one of the family members that runs the lodge. They have a connection and agree to go all in for her time there and then back to their separate lives once her trip is finished.

Sophie Sullivan is turning into one of my favorite romance writers. Love, Naturally was a super cute fish-out-of-water love story about a girl, Presley, who plans an extravagant vacation for her boyfriend, Emmett. Presley ultimately ends up going alone because Emmett is the actual worst bro-dude on the fictional planet of this story. Presley heads to Get Lost and partakes in all sorts of activities that she normally would not, while finding herself along the way. Beckett is the outdoorsy babe we’ve been searching for, so don’t miss out on him!

Release date: 01.16.2024 – will be posted to my Instagram @ashisalwaysreading on release date

Synopsis: Presley Ayers didn’t expect a gift to her boyfriend (a fishing trip, something she thought he’d enjoy) would cause a breakup – but here she is, now single and has a 10-day vacation ahead of her – taken solo. Presley decides she’s going to make the most of it but from the beginning it doesn’t seem to go well – until a handsome man helps her on the boat. Then when she gets to her accommodation her room is just about freezing and maintenance can’t fix it immediately so she changes rooms – she realizes she’s now staying in the handsome man from the boats room, and he’s going to stay with family as they own the lodge. Presley feeling lonely does not want him to leave and asks him to stay. Beckett is dealing with his own internal struggles, he’s debating on accepting a position with his job to open a new store hour away or stay in their small city and open a bike rental place. As the two spend more time together they realize their spark is more of a flame but with a deadline, Presley plans to go back to her regular life after 10 days.

Review: This is the palette cleanser I desperately needed, the last 2 books I read were A Court of Mist and Fury and Fourth Wing so I needed something that was A. Realistic and B. Shorter. This book hit all my expectations! Presley, I thought, was going to be an airhead social media influencer and I was wrong – she actually cares about those around her and spends time to make sure she is making a difference for people – even if she doesn’t give herself the credit. Beckett and his family are exactly how you want your family to be – supportive yet want you to live your own life. The found family in this book just warms my heart.

Presley is fresh out of a breakup and going on a vacation that was originally planned for her ex. There she meets Beckett whose family owns the lodge that she is staying at.

Presley falls for everything at the lodge, including Beckett. And Beckett falls just as hard. And it is adorable to see how quickly they fall for each other.

Presley really helps to bring Beckett's dream to life and help him express that to his family who are incredibly supportive of him. And watching the fact that Presley falls in love with his family, his town and everything around him is delightful. And they fall equally in love with Presley.

Beckett and Presley are just adorable to read about. I can't even handle how cute this book was. This is just an overall big fat. Warm hug of a book and I loved everything about it.

Thank you so much to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for an arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This was such a lovely, heartwarming read. Presley and Beckett really feel like two good, true-hearted people who came together and really saw each other. It’s a whirlwind romance that takes place over the course of one vacation, but the characters’ brainwaves are so in-synch that it is very believable. The two of them, being opposites in background and experience, seemed to be pulled together like magnets, but truly they are similar in their values, in their creativity and passion, and in their openness and appreciation for each other. Their love story feels, aptly, very natural. I also enjoyed the small family-run business and small town aspects of the book, the rom-com, get-the-girl ending, and the sublime descriptions of the setting and its connections to the characters’ emotions and love story. I hope we get to see more from these characters in future books!

Absolutely adorable and heart-warming read! Perfect for summer on the beach.

It reminded me in some ways of a no-spice version of It Happened On Summer or The Simple Wild.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC!

This book was such a great read! Such a sweet and simple romance.

I enjoyed every part of Presley and Beck’s relationship, their conversations were cute and flirty and you could feel their chemistry coming off the pages.

All of the characters were so easy to love, I caught myself wanting Gray and Jilly to get their own books just so I could have more of them. I also really enjoyed the small town/cozy vibe of the island and Get Lost.

I almost thought the ending was going one way and I was starting to get a little disappointed, but it turned around to end exactly as I wanted it to!

I typically do not like third person, but this one didn’t bother me as much. Would definitely recommend and would love to read more from this author in the future!

This is a great comfort book. Feels like snuggling up on the porch swing with a comfy blanket in the fall. Great book when needing a light palette cleanser.

Heartbreak, new friendships, insta-love, fade to black, outdoorsy woodland vibes.

I just finished this #ARC from #netgalley Love, Naturally by Sophie Sullivan. This book is perfect for readers who love wholesome small town instaslove romances.
The MC was broken up with after planning a vacation for her boyfriend. She went on the vacation to a small town without him and found love.
It's a very sweet book that reads like a Hallmark movie. The writing style reminds me of Tessa Bailey without the smut.

Ahh I loved this book. It was a great story with developed characters. Presley needed this trip to get outside of her comfort zone and meets Beckett. The attraction was instant and all the supporting characters made such a sweet story. I really enjoyed it - like all of Sophie’s books. I can’t wait for my book group to read this one when it’s out.

Thank you to St. Martin’s Press & need galley for this digital ARC.

Main characters: Beckett and Presley
Plot: Presley is ready to settle down with her boyfriend. To show him how ready she is she books the perfect getaway around all his favorite things. He gets the present and is excited but not to go with her. The obvious follows and she decided she is going on the trip herself. Get Lost resort is definitely not what she expected and she gets to know Beckett. His family owns the area as part of his brother’s divorce settlement. However out of one relationship another comes.

What I loved: that there are so many opportunities for a sequel. I hope it’s coming. Let’s follow Jilly, Rylee, or Gray!

Book Review of Love Naturally by Sophie Sullivan
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This was so cute, I read it in a day!

Thank you so much @stmartinspress for the early copy of this one. This is out January 16, 2024 and you will want to put it on your list of to be read!

Presley Ayers is planning the ultimate getaway for her boyfriend, but too bad he dumps her as she's giving him his birthday present! What a cad! He even offers up that he could take someone other than her with him. The getaway had nothing she would love to do, but she was willing to take one for the team to do this wonderful thing together.
She had a total get off the grid outing planned. Remote location in Michigan, to fish, hike and unwind. This city girl was really going to be a fish out of water! Since he dumps her, she decides to go without him.
The boat ride to this remote island is about enough to do her in, but a kind stranger tries to ease her worries.
When she gets to the cabin, her room is icicle cold so they will have to move her room. Enter handsome, kind stranger from the boat, Beckett Keller. His family owns the lodge, and he helps out occasionally with odd jobs. They really do have a witty banter between the two. Presley finds herself drawn into his world with his brother, sister and niece. She finds herself trying new things like hiking and fishing. She makes him a little internet famous by posting a picture of him and this sets the struggling lodge on the path of righting itself.
Super cute love story, characters are great and the setting makes you want to get out in nature!
