I tried doing a Christmas in July, but it’s now May, a whole year later and we’re still nowhere with the book I started and put down several times.

Was it cute? Yes. Did I like what I read? Absolutely. Did I still throw it away like Andy did with Woody whenever Buzz Lightyear came into view and said “I don’t want to pay with you anymore?” Guilty.

I swooned, I squealed, I kicked my feet up with giggles. It’s a good romantic holiday fun. Is it your typical run of the mill holiday romance? Yeah, but it’s still enjoyable for sure.

Oh wow this book did not disappoint. This book gave me all the feels. I love the women and the friends and families. This book was uplifting and emotional at the same time. It is a great read for the holiday season. Loved it!!

Sunny, Arianna and Molly are not impressed with the way they spent their Christmases. As a new-stepmother, Sunny tries to win her stepchildren over to no avail; Arianna having been recently divorced has to share her daughter on the holiday; Molly is bone-tired from her job at the post office.

What if they had the opportunity to have a Christmas do-over? Sunny and Arianna come up with the idea and bring Molly into the fold. What if they celebrated Christmas every month for the entire year? Spreading joy one month at a time.

They are determined to make it happen and continue to roll with the punches even when recipes don’t turn out and mishaps arise. No matter the outcome, they are there for one another through all that life throws at them and to pick up the pieces when necessary. Planning and celebrating each month brings them closer together and brings more people into their circle as the months go on.

I really enjoyed this novel and would recommend it to others. It’s pegged as a cozy Christmas romance novel and it is exactly that.

This is a good book. A group of women who are friends. They decide that they didn’t enjoy their Christmas so they are going to have Twelve months of Christmas. They celebrate Christmas every month. They enjoy every month. They have divorces, fall in love and have death. It is life.

ALWAYS a huge fan and support of Ms. Sheila and she is the Queen of Christmas books in my humble! Always a cozy, fun read and this one kept pace with all of her other books! Please, do yourself a favor and read this book and all of her books! Great job Sheila!

What a delightful idea this book proposes. A group of friends think that their last Christmas was the pits for various reasons. They come together (the group is even intergenerational) and decide to celebrate Christmas every month, but with a theme that is in keeping with that month's holiday. It's interesting how they accept the challenge and come up with unique ideas. As the months pass, we see problems resolving and the characters growing. By keeping the spirit of Christmas all year (which we should all do), their perspectives on their lives change and they become happier. A good lesson for us all.

I usually enjoy Sheila Roberts's Christmas romances, but unfortunately, this one wasn't for me. It sounded cute but I didn't find any of the characters likeable. I know this book was meant to focus on second chances and do-overs but I just didn't care about the characters.

This was a fun read and a fun concept. I enjoyed reading the Twelve Months of Christmas by Sheila Roberts. It's perfect to read at the end of the holiday season.

Her three women protagonists are all relatable and genuine and each reader will probably find one to relate more with but will have a hard time picking favorites.
Sunny is the eternal optimist, she’s funny, she’s thoughtful and she’s the real deal even though her stepdaughter keeps trying to kill her Christmas Spirit.
Arianna is a bit of a pessimist trying to climb her way out of a dark time in her life knowing she needs to keep up a happy front for her young daughter.
Sixty year old Molly is the realist, she has a grown daughter and granddaughter who she loves dearly but her post office patrons are making her want to go postal.
Fans of holiday themed warm hearted stories and this insightful author will find this hard to put down and will need a few tissues to make it to The End.

Newlywed Sunny wanted to give her new husband and two new step kids a Christmas to remember but it was the step kids who gave her a Christmas she’d like to forget.
Arianna is spending her first Christmas as an ex-wife and dealing with her selfish ex and having to share her daughter with him is ruining her Christmas spirit.

Postal worker Molly isn’t usually a Grinch but her customers at Christmastime put her in a fowl mood.
After discussing their awful Christmases these three neighbors decide what they really need is to re-do Christmas, find their Christmas spirit and maybe keep it going all year long. And what they find along the way is twelve months of fun holiday themed activities, special moments, laughter and tears and a whole lot of celebrating.

This was a heartfelt Christmas story about a group of friends, Sunny, Molly, and Arianna. They all experience a bad Christmas, and they decide that they're going to celebrate Christmas over again…. EVERY month. Throughout the year, they each deal with their own set of problems too, and you'll see how each of them handles these difficult situations. I found this is book emotional at times, as it deals with cancer, divorce, and death, but it was also full of hope and there were also parts with some humor too. This is a nice holiday book that I fully enjoyed!

It’s not the Christmas season without a heartfelt, genuine Christmas novel from @sheilarobertswriter!

Sunny, Arianna, and Molly are three friends who all have a terrible Christmas. To make up for it and bring some cheer to the new year, they decide to celebrate Christmas each month. They have the Santa Bunny for Easter and Christmas fireworks for the 4th of July. Each month gives them something to look forward.

This really brings their families together. Sunny is struggling as a new step mom to kids who aren’t happy with their situation. Arianna is fresh off a divorce who is having trouble sharing custody with her daughter and Molly is stuck in a rut with her dead end job at the Post Office.

These women are more than just friends; they are family. They rely on each on each other through the good and bad times. I was definitely tearing up by the end of the book. This is a perfect read for the holidays.

The Twelve Months of Christmas by Sheila Roberts was a very heartwarming story of how friendships can get you through good times and bad times. Christmas was not great for this group of friends so they decided to have a Christmas redo. Every month around the 25th, they celebrated Christmas. They decorated a tree for whatever holiday was that month. Had a party including presents. It was a feelgood story full of heartache and joys.

I think the idea of a Christmas redo and celebrating Christmas all year is really charming. Although I don’t think I have the creativity to do it. This was such a cute story and a very quick read. I loved all of the characters and their stories were very well written. This was truly a story of friendship, love and the joy of Christmas.

If you are looking for a feel good story that will bring some tears to your eyes then this one is for you. It has the joy of friendship and found family. It shows each characters struggle through tough times. But it shows the dedication and togetherness of being there for the people you care about through the good and the bad.

Sunny, Arianna and Molly each have their own terrible Christmas for different reasons, so after the first of the New Year, they decide they deserve a do-over. Rather than being down about the holidays not going the way they had hoped, they band together and decide to celebrate Christmas throughout the year.

As they navigate twelve months of Christmas, these women experience some significant ups and downs, but come to realize that there's always so much to be thankful for, even when things don't seem to be going the way they want them to.

This was a heart-warming story of friendship, family and the holidays, and I enjoyed reading it.

Ms Roberts' work took a chapter or two to get rolling for me, but it was very much worth the wait. The story follows a group of friends who decide to celebrate Christmas each month of the year, since their December Christmases all went wrong. Each woman faces her own challenges, as do the other characters in the books, which made it more engaging than some other romances I've read.
I recommend this book if you're looking for some cheer - even if it's not Christmastime, an interesting ensemble cast, and a lovely story.

There's betrayal and heartache, but there's also strength, love, inspiration, and unwavering support. Roberts doesn't pull any punches with these women, throwing heartbreaking obstacles in their paths that result in some pretty high emotional mountains to climb. But those obstacles also afford the opportunity for growth, for eye-opening realizations, for the chance to open hearts to the people who are always there for them. Friends who become family.

There are snippets of humor throughout the book - it wouldn't be a Sheila Roberts book without humor - but, for me, this one leans more heavily to the emotional side. Tears were flowing more than once. As in life, these characters have to deal with significant storm clouds and some of them are heart-wrenching, especially if you are dealing with or have dealt with similar situations in your own life. If you're looking for a heart-tugging story with multi-layered characters, relatable life experiences, humor, love, and complex relationships, all with the joy and hope of Christmas at its core, give this one a try. But keep the tissues handy.

Imagine celebrating the holidays every month! That’s exactly what these characters do after a not so stellar holidays with their families. Each month is a specific theme with activities and tons of fellowship.

This cozy story is an entertaining do-over for Sunny, Arianna and Molly’s holidays. There are plenty of heartfelt moments every month between these characters and their family and friends. This book will put you in the mood to spread some cheer.

Roberts is the master of compelling, heartwarming stories and this a perfect holiday read.

I’m not totally ready for holiday reads yet but I couldn’t pass up the chance to read Shelia Robert’s latest, her books are so cute and cozy and even though this was Christmassy, it could definitely be read and enjoyed at any time of the year. this follows three women, Sunny, Arianna and Molly over the course of a year. All three have awful holiday celebrations so they decide to have a do over and they celebrate once a month for a year. While this was sweet and heartfelt with plenty of lighthearted moments it was also realistic and showed the lows in the women’s lives as well. If you like stories about found family, spreading cheer all year long and a little bit of romance this one was really fun!
