I've been reading the Little House books with my 10 yr old niece. She and I read this book together and she had some wonderful reactions. The book is very entertaining, it's not meant to be an educational tool, just a fun and entertaining read for those of us who grew up with the Laura Ingalls Wilder books. If you have read the books, you'll love this book.

A cutesy, kitschy offshoot, capitalizing on the fame of the Little House in the Prairie show, and very little of the books.
The book is based mostly on the television series, with a few sprinkles of facts and quotes from Laura Ingalls Wilder and others.
The authors provide solutions for problems faced in the show and also in real life.
This is another pandemic effect: they wrote it while the world languished.
I doubt if anyone over the age of 35 would gravitate toward the book, but it’s out there.

This is a fun and informative book that gives useful advice. I love books like this and always learn something about science! Helpful and informative.

Whimsical idea but very juvenile and simplistic execution... I had to laugh at the suggestions in the "Hack Your Family Life" chatper to "give a kiss and an 'I love you' as your partner leaves for work" or "call your mom to check in" or "read a book to your kids before bed" - groundbreaking! Why has no one thought of this previously?

Thank you to NetGalley for an ARC of Little House Life Hacks.

I never watched the television show but I was a fan of the book series. My little sister actually got me into reading them; she was the first fan in my family.

I love the cover and the concept of applying old timey wisdom and thoughtfulness to our modern times.

Fans of the television shows will really like the parts when the author references scenes from the show to illustrate advice or takeaway from that particular show.

I did love the quotes from the books and I was reminded of how much I enjoyed reading the books years ago.

In the end, this is another self help book hiding behind the guise of a beloved book and television series, sort of gimmick-y.

Once you read the life hacks; for example, be kind to yourself and neighbors, surround yourself with supportive friends and family, hold yourself accountable for your deeds and actions; you'll understand there's nothing new you haven't read before in other books.

This would make a great gift for any fan of the show and/or book.
