This novel is certainly thoroughly entertaining to read. It is based around an ex-convict whose name is DOM Demarco. He is feared and is hated. It is about Demarco and a female by the name of Margot. It is quite the fascinating story line, however I will not reveal any teasers. I will say, though, that I recommend taking a read, as I am sure you may be pleasantly surprised if this piques your attention.

Pretty good book.. Definitely a would they wouldn't they kind of book for sure.. Some parts were a bit confusing due to going from one scene to a completely different scene...

It was okay. Nothing I was extremely excited about but I did love the billionaire aspect and the trauma the characters displayed especially being an ex con.

A very enjoyable and sizzling read.
Many thanks to the author and to Netgalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.

For me there was just to many plots going on with the characters. It took me a bit long to read this book. Thank you to NetGalley and independently published for letting me read this book

Trouble looms.

My best friend I went to jail for is gone. Again.

In search of him, I find Margot in a café.

Her brown-eyed gaze and dimpled smile hooks me.

Spins my world on its head.

My name precedes me—Dom Demarco, an ex-convict.

I’m feared and hated.
Until her...

She sees beneath the facade and wants me as I want her.

She’s dealing with a stalking ex while the horrors of my time in prison haunt me.

Only we can save each other.

Between my shady business investor and her ex, the pressure mounts.

Here’s to hoping it doesn’t blow up in our faces...

This one was a bit of a tough read to get through. Not because the content was heavy but rather because I didn’t really connect to the story line or characters. Dom wasn’t awful so following his side of the story helped move the read along. Margot on the other hand, I didn’t very much care for her. Her character was a bit shallow and sometimes very annoying.

The plot line wasn’t terrible. Ex surfer icon ruins his future by going to jail for a friend. Turns out he’s also a scientific genius, who has the next big idea. Company takes a chance on him, he falls in love with an aspiring actress along the way. Did I fail to mention he is also great with troubled teens? Needless to say, a lot happens in this story.

Damaged Ex-con Billionaire follows Dom, and Margot. Despite all of the cards being stacked against them, their intense attraction keeps pulling them together. There is a lot of dirty talk, which is great. Their relationship seems toxic at times.

In the blurb it makes it seem like the main big conflict would be Dom dealing with his PTSD from prison, but it barely comes up at all. I was intrigued by the thought of reading a character that's dealing with what I deal with quite often and was disappointed over this not being a bigger plot point.

overall, I have to say i enjoyed the book. It was a 4/5 for me.

This was a good read that showed the growth and evolution of both the fmc and the mmc as individuals but also as one. I think what I liked most about was seeing how much both characters grew, too often its just one and they do it simply for the other but in here everything felt deeper and had more meaning and that is what really shone through for me in this book.

I wasn’t a huge fan of this book simply due to the level of petty conflict & toxicity between the main characters.
They were both too quick to anger & it felt like all plot was thrown aside & replaced with make-up sex… just for it to happen again.
It was a fine short read but, it lacked the substance I expected.

A short, but fun read, although I do prefer a build up as the two main characters jumped into bed together straight away, I thought there were too many plot lines for a short read.. I liked the storyline and the characters the romance was sweet enough.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This book did exactly what I expected it to do.
It was light, easy to read, a good time waster, with decent characters.

I did find the characters were quick to anger and draw conclusions based on very little, to make an argument for the sole purpose of them having to make-up... which was frustrating because their budding relationship didn't need the extra drama.

The intimate scenes were awkward to read. Some descriptions were... less than ideal. But again, the book does what it says it will do.

In the end, I'm glad that Dom got his happy ending. It did seem like everything came very easy to him, but I'm glad he ended up happy.

This book was short, but felt like like longest book I’ve ever read. The two main characters jumped into bed together as soon as they met, fought the entire book, but then ended up married somehow? There were so many plots going on- the romance, the energexway, Jesse, Braydon, etc. it was hard to keep up at times. I would not recommend this book, honestly. I voluntarily reviewed this as an ARC for NetGalley.

The ending was really good. I felt like I was on a relationship roller coaster ride. There was not a 70% of the way through breakup, but there were several breakups during the story. I honestly requested this book because I though the premise was pretty funny. But, it ended up being very well written. It was believable enough. Guy gets wrongfully accused spends time in prison for it. When he gets out, he is determined to start a new life, but there are some road bumps along the way.

I thought that this book was ok

The book wasn’t one that was outstanding for me but I did carry on reading though to the end to give it a fair go.

There were things in the book that happened a bit quick (and a bit easy) and it was then a little bit of a let down as there was not the same build up as you often get in books of this genre and I have read quite a few now over the years.

The storyline was ok and the characters were fine but it wasn’t one I clicked with and it didn’t capture me as I would have hoped

It is 3 stars from me for this one – just wasn’t one for me but would still recommend that others pick up the book and give it a read as this is only my personal opinion

An interesting read, a short novella about an ex-convict’s time after prison. Not my personal fave but the writing was decent and characters believable!

Damaged Ex-Con Billionaire was an interesting story for me. I enjoyed learning Don and Margot's Story. Seeing them grow & come into their own, both individually and together had me unable to put this down. However, there were some aspects of how it was written that were problematic for me and would pull me out of the story. The writing style didn't flow very well and felt clunky at times, almost as if it was pieced together. The spicy scenes in particular gave this feeling. While not my favorite read, I would still be interested in seeing more from this author.
