Ms.Woodson has an interesting take on the versatility of a waffle iron. She gives info on the care and best use of same and offers a large variety of recipes for it. It is informative I requested and received a NetGalley arc to peruse gratis and offer my opinion in the same. |

very very simple ingredients and instructions, i’m vegan but i can see myself adapting many of these recipes! the tater tot flats are so good, i usually make them with shredded hashbrowns but they’re way crispier with tater tots. i’m most excited to make the thanksgiving leftovers |

This cookbook deceives with the body. From the name, I would have expected only waffle recipes. But it does include advice on sandwiches using a sandwich maker. The book is well structured, with each recipe having an icon of the device to be used. I really adored the photographs. One would like to taste everything. The use of photos of the cooking process is a plus, it makes sure one's dough looks right. This cookbook has also broadened my horizons, I have included savoury versions of waffles in my personal recipes. In addition, it serves as a great inspiration to make classic sweet waffles extra special. Thank you to NetGalley and Fox Chapel Publishing for a free digital review copy. This is my honest review. |

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for letting me review this book. This was a fun read and has a great assortment of waffles and fillings. The recipes are easy and simple. |

Lots of creative ideas to use your waffle maker for more than just breakfast (though there’s plenty of breakfast ideas, too). Lunch sandwiches, dinner ideas, and maybe the best use -deserts! I like that there are pictures to accompany each recipe. |

Who said the waffle maker can only be used to make food for breakfast, dessert and snack? This book proves that it can be used for not only those meals but for lunch and dinner as well. This is a beautiful volume with a delicious-looking photograph for every recipe. So much creativity involved and alternatives are given too. The suggested ingredients are not hard to find - a very important criteria for me for any cookbook. A good reference for everyday use and for those times when you run out of ideas how to utilise that beloved kitchen gadget. 5 stars. |

Love loved this cookbook. So many ideas. Making each recipe will keep me and my family satisfied for a long time. Everything from breakfast to desserts. A lot of the sandwiches suggested are from ingredients already on hand. I have bookmarked so many of the recipes, I am not sure which one I should make first. All ages can benefit and will also enjoy this quick read |

Thank you for allowing me to read the advanced readers copy of this cookbook! I found many recipes that I can't wait to try out, especially since I love anything that includes waffles! |

Literally learn new ways to use your waffle iron. Brilliant ideas and very inspirational to me as a home cook. I have learned new ways to feed my family thru reading Waffle it ! Beautiful illustrations, detailed instructions and no experience needed. A great read for breakfast and the other meals of the day. |

I thought this was a great idea for a book and was looking forward to all different kinds of waffles and appreciate having access to it as an ARC. While there are some new ideas for waffles, I was annoyed that a lot of it was using the waffle maker for things like sandwiches, Lasagne and eggplant parm. No! I will not be making a mess using my waffle iron. If all you have to cook with is a waffle maker then you will. 100% get some great ideas from the book. I was also disappointed that it uses so many processed ready made items rather than things from scratch. |

Take your waffle from “boring” to super cool with these recipes. Instead of the same basic waffle and syrup, this book explore lots of ways to use your waffle maker to make breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner and dessert! Some recipes get a little crazy but interesting, like leftover spaghetti melt, lasanha waffles, French onion steak sandwich and more. The book is nice and all the recipes have photos!! I received a free digital copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review |

Your waffle iron can make so much more than waffles! Discover endless possibilities for what a waffle iron can do with this must-have cookbook! Fun recipes and ideas. |

A very informative book on Waffle making with some really great recipes, your faituful plain waffles, sweet and savoury and some very interesting ones too. This book is not all about Waffles though, it also contains sandwiches and paninis so reallt it is not completely Waffle related. I like that different cleaning options are talked about aswell as the different types of Waffle irons. There are also a number of sauce recipes to go with your creations. There are so many pictures to go with the recipes which is excellent also. All over a very nice book with plenty of ideas for the use of your Wafgfle/Sandwich/Panini Maker. Thanks to Netgalley and Kate Woodson for the opportunity to read and review this book. |

There was so many different recipes in this book and I can't wait to test them all especially the breakfast ones. |

Thank you, NetGalley, for an e-ARC of Waffle It! by Kate Woodson. This book confirmed the magic of how many things you can put in a waffle iron! Thank you, Kate Woodson, for great ideas that helped me realize that waffles aren't just for breakfast. I've already requested that our library order this title, and look forward to using it as a basis for a culinary literacy program. |

While I loved the concept of this book {who doesn't want more reasons to break out their waffle iron?), I was disappointed in the execution. Many (more than I'd expect of a book titled "Waffle It!") require the use of a panini press rather than a waffle iron. While it's got some interesting recipes, I was hoping for something more "waffle-focused", though owners of both a waffle iron and a panini press will probably enjoy the variety of recipes herein. |

If you recently purchased a waffle maker or want to use the one you already have more often, Waffle it! teaches you more than a hundred recipes you can easily recreate at home. The book has a classic structure, with four main parts : breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert. The author also included some interesting sauce ideas. I liked the wide choice of recipes, with a personal preference for the desserts chapter, where you can find super-yummy treats such as the cinnamon peach French toasts, or the caramel apple delight. Unfortunately, I can’t say that all the recipes were that appealing, the "Leftover spaghetti melt" for instance -basically, a spaghetti sandwich - is an abomination. I also noticed that a lot of recipes call for store bought items like cake mix, frozen puff pastry etc. I'm all for easy recipes and don't have any issue with using the occasional ready to use dough or whatever, but I expect to have a complete and reliable recipe in a "cookbook", I'll then decide if I want to make it from scratch or not. Otherwise, any Tiktok video could show me the trick of putting cake mix in a waffle maker. Aesthetically speaking, this cookbook is okay, I'm not crazy about the layout- not very modern in my opinion (I also noticed that a couple of recipes had the same photo, don't know if it's on purpose). But on the bright side, most pictures are mouth-watering. The recipes are easy follow and the ingredients seem to have been organized so that you'll have the first ingredient you need at the top of the list and so on. It might help inexperienced people, but I'm not used to it, it bothered me a little bit. Thank you NetGalley for giving me access to a digital copy of this cookbook in exchange of an honest review. |

I had a unique interest in reviewing this book. I am an owner of a bed and breakfast in the country and have been for 30 years. I am always looking for new and different recipes to serve for breakfast and there can be limited variety. I was amazed at all the different uses for a waffle iron, from pizza, to ice cream sandwiches, frittatas and additionally using your waffle iron for paninis. I loved the idea of using cinnamon roll freezer dough in the waffle iron to make a breakfast favorite. Who knew you could even make french toast in the waffle iron? Another recipe I loved was the Toasted Bagel Sandwich. The possibilities were endless, the ideas novel and the recipes delicious. A great book for students in a dorm, kids learning to cook and anyone who wants to explore the waffle iron. Thank you for the opportunity to review this book. |

Waffles are not just for Sunday brunch any longer. If you have not kept up with the current trends, or even if you have, this book gives so many great recipes and ideas that it should be required reading for home chefs. I have 3 types of waffle irons and all of them get ample use. This quick, versatile base for any and every type of dish is a family favorite. I often end up gifting the small waffle irons with several recipes to young couples or singles. Now I can add a copy of this wonderful cookbook too. Definitely gift one to yourself and find out what all the noise is about!!! |

I have been wanting to use my waffle maker more and this is the perfect book to help me with that. Really impressed with the photography, everything looked so delicious. I can't wait to try all of the recipes. I am going to have one happy family. |
