Well, if the point of a domestic thriller is to keep you guessing, The Bigamist by Rona Halsall delivers. I am a sucker, an absolute sucker, for any premise involving scheming and lying amongst spouses, so it was a no brainer for me to request this one from Netgalley. Despite my having a virtual PhD in spouses gone wrong, I could not keep up with the plot twists in this one. A great afternoon read and perfect for your beach bag when it releases July 5, 2023.

As to the narration on the audiobook - it was ok. I had to speed it up to handle the monotone delivered by the reader, but once I found the right speed, it worked for my ears.
