What a wonderful community who are completely supportive and encouraging. The romance is lovely but I enjoyed watching the friendships grow.

Struggling single mom Jenny moves to a seaside town to help her friend Helen's ice cream parlor while Helen is in Australia. Jenny's opinions about Helen's ex, Nick, shift when she learns he's a silent partner in the business. Jenny juggles running the parlor and caring for her daughter Grace, while questioning Helen's carefree attitude in Australia. The relationship between Jenny and Nick lacks romance, and Nick's behavior seems odd. Overall, it's a fun beach read with ups and downs, misunderstandings, and a touch of romance.

A sweet story pun very much done on purpose. About Jenny and her daughter grace. Who go to run an ice-cream shop without knowing anything about the business. There is a nice romance storyline running throughout too.

If you get your hands on any book written by Sarah Hope and you know you are in for a treat. This one is just as good and I really enjoyed it. Ice cream is a favourite of most people so just the title is enough to get stuck into it. 5 stars and I recommend it.

Thanks to Netgalley and publisher for this ARC

What a sweet story about Jenny and her daughter Grace. They have to run a icecream shop without knowing another about it. Of course, there is romance in this story which adds to its charm. I loved all the descriptions of the ice creams which made my mouth water. Another lovely book from Sarah. My thanks to netgalley and the publishers for giving me the opportunity to read this book in return for an honest review.

Sarah Hope's "The Seaside Ice-Cream Parlour" invites readers to savor a delightful story of new beginnings, unexpected connections, and the comforting embrace of a close-knit community. With its charming blend of romance, personal growth, and the simple joys of life, this novel is a heartwarming treat that captures the essence of seaside living.

The narrative revolves around Jenny, a woman looking for a fresh start away from the challenges of her previous life. The opportunity to manage her best friend's ice cream parlour by the beach seems like a dream come true, despite her lack of experience. As Jenny navigates the world of ice cream production, motherhood, and adapting to her new home, she finds herself encountering Nick, her best friend's ex-partner. Their initial strained relationship gradually blossoms into an unexpected friendship that starts to stir feelings neither of them anticipated.

Hope excels in creating relatable characters with genuine struggles and aspirations. Jenny is a relatable protagonist, juggling the demands of her new role and the responsibilities of motherhood. Nick's presence brings a layer of complexity, as they both navigate a web of emotions and past connections. The story is peppered with moments of vulnerability and growth, portraying characters who evolve as they confront their own fears and desires.

The seaside setting becomes a character in its own right, contributing to the novel's atmosphere. The vivid descriptions of the ice cream parlour and the coastal town create a picturesque backdrop for the unfolding events. This setting, combined with Hope's skillful storytelling, immerses readers in a world that feels both cozy and inviting.

At its core, "The Seaside Ice-Cream Parlour" is a story about human connections. The emphasis on friendship, community, and trust adds depth to the narrative, reminding readers of the importance of these bonds in shaping our lives. Hope delicately weaves a tale that celebrates the beauty of second chances and the serendipity of unexpected relationships.

The romance in "The Seaside Ice-Cream Parlour" is sweet and gradual, allowing Jenny and Nick's feelings to develop organically. The tender moments they share are both heartwarming and genuine, reminding us that love can arise unexpectedly and enrich our lives in unimaginable ways.

This novel's appeal lies not only in its charming storyline but also in the life lessons it imparts. Through the ups and downs of Jenny's experiences, readers are reminded of the value of trust, the resilience of the human spirit, and the healing power of friendship.

Another wonderful book that I immediately devoured! I truly enjoyed these two books to the fullest!
Thank you Ms. Hope for an awesome get away even though I do live across from the beach myself.
I did however enjoyed "visiting " another town and making new friends
Such a delightful read!
I have to admit that I did snicker in some scenes because silly things do happen that we have no control of.
5 stars for this sweet read that absolutely enjoyed and hated saying goodbye to.
And a cute cover too that matched the story inside. I do love ice cream. One of my favorite desserts!
My thanks to Netgalley and Boldwood publishers for a copy of this book. I was NOT required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are my own.

I really enjoyed this second book by Sarah Hope. Jenny and grace have the opportunity to move to the seaside and manage Helen’s business for 3 months while she visits family in Australia. Jenny has been through a rough time following a relationship break up and this is just what they need. She soon fits into the wonderful community and has a few adventures along the way. Friendship and romance unfold. I read this in 2 days. I’m looking forward to the Christmas one when it is published soon.

I binge read this story, alongside Sarah Hope's other new release 'The Little Beach Cafe'. Both were utterly delightful and a pleasure to read.
I sadly don't eat ice cream (not many options for the dairy free among us) but wanted to hot foot without delay to the seafront ice cream parlour that is described in this book. I wanted to be among the warm and welcoming community that Jenny is looking after for her best friend.
The story was compelling and I turned the pages quickly to find out the next chapter. I often couldn't stop at the end of the chapter I'd said I would stop at!
Thoroughly recommend.
