This books took a while for me to get into. Once all of the peices started coming together I really enjoys this book.

Thank you to NetGalley and Macmillan audio
yes!!! Alice Feeney did it again.
Great book. Interesting writing style!! YES!!
Recommend!!!!!!

I love all of Alice's books. This one was no exception. I think i would have enjoyed it more in a physical or ebook. The narrators were a bit hard to keep up with. Alice is excellent at dual timelines but the audio was a bit hard to follow with the different places and characters.

Alice Feeney always knocks it out of the park with her books. While this one isn’t up to par with say Rock Paper Scissors, it is still a great book that will be enjoyed by millions of people.

A whodunit mystery with multiple points of view 🧐 You got to have some patience with this one (aka it's a slow burner) 😴 my main problem was just I felt confused most of the book. The main characters were indistinguishable from each other and (I don't want to give any spoilers) the twist made it even more confusing tbh. As an Alice Feeney fan, I was a bit let down.

Thank you to NetGalley for an opportunity to read this ARC.
This was my third book by author and I am happy with her style.
This keeps you on your toes and guessing throughout.
Will not disappoint.

*Audiobook*
I like Alice Feeney, and the premise of her new book sounded very strong, but it fell short for me. The story is told from so many perspectives and so many people are linked that it was hard to keep track of what was going on. I probably would not have had this issue with a hard copy, but it definitely did not translate well to an audiobook for me. Also there was nothing particularly thrilling about the plot. It read more like a family drama. This isn’t a bad book, but I had higher expectations based on the author and synopsis. I’d rate this 2.5 stars. Thanks to NetGalley, Macmillan Audio, and Alice Feeney for this free ARC in exchange for my honest review.

*** Warning. Spoilers**
Alice Feeney consistently delivers captivating narratives filled with unexpected twists. As I immersed myself in this audiobook, I was impressed by the narrators ability to maintain a seamless flow, even amidst the initial confusion.
The story unfolds with a woman shopping for groceries, her newborn baby disappearing in the blink of an eye. Subsequently, a diverse cast of characters is introduced: a prison librarian dealing with her estranged daughter's departure; an elderly care home resident who feels out of place; a compassionate caregiver; and an estranged adult daughter.
The narrative reaches its crescendo on Mother's Day, weaving these characters and their tales into a surprising domestic drama infused with elements of suspense and murder. The narrative's convergence impressed me, although it does require some patience as the puzzle pieces gradually fall into place.
Feeney's exploration of the intricate dynamics between mothers and daughters resonated with me. Her exploration of the theme of duality, where we all possess both good and bad aspects depending on perspective and circumstances, adds depth to the story. Each character in this book is a testament to this dichotomy.
Alice Feeney strikes another suspenseful chord with this intricately woven narrative. I enthusiastically offer this review as a result of my voluntary reading of a complimentary copy, with all opinions expressed genuinely.
⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stars as it was a bit confusing with the order of how the characters were presented.

I love Alive Feeney but have never listened to an audio book before. I’m so glad I started here! Excellent character development, excellent narration, excellent story!
Thank you, Alice, for another brilliant book!

I received this digital ARC free from Macmillan Audio via NetGalley for an honest review. Good Bad Girl by Alice Feeney was a suspenseful thriller with twists. I found it a little hard to get into in the beginning but once it picked up it was hard to put down. I also found Narrators Katherine Press & Stephanie Racine to be amazing and I enjoyed them immensely. If you enjoy thrillers, then this one's for you!

Alice Feeney is one of my go to authors and Good Bad Girl cemented that. So many twists and turns abound and the perfect narrator are top reasons why I will read everything she writes.

Another fun and twisty romp by Alice Feeney! This one focuses on the intersecting lives of several women, surrounding a mysterious unsolved kidnapping from years before. As she always reliably does, Feeney brings the shocking unexpected twists, superior character development, and intricate plotting until the dueling narrators collide at their inevitable conclusion.
Alice Feeney is an automatic must-read author for me and this audiobook reinforces her title as the Queen of the Shocking Twist! If your jaw isn't on the floor at the end of an Alice Feeney novel (especially this one), you're probably unshockable.
Great fun!

“Sometimes bad things happen to good people, so good people have to do bad things.”
Twenty years after a baby is stolen from a stroller, a woman is murdered in a care home. The two crimes are somehow linked, and the lives of four good bad women intertwine to discover the truth.
My most anticipated thriller of the year…and it pains to say this but…I’m a bit disappointed. 🥴 I was enjoying it just enough to keep turning pages but nothing riveting happens. The “cliffhanger“ at the end of the chapters kept me turning pages BUT she just kept CIRCLING THE DRAIN and dragging it out. The plot is convoluted but also predictable at the same time ? I don’t know how else to describe it. 🤷🏽♀️🤣 Also, this is NOT a thriller…more of a domestic drama/suspense with a hint of mystery.
This story was missing the classic Feeney twist that I know and love. She’s still an auto buy author for me but this time, I was a bit underwhelmed. I didn’t hate it but it sits at the bottom of her rankings. (Swipe to see them ranked.)
Liked:
- Mother Daughter relationship
- Short chapters
- Unique plot
I finished this during a 12 hour night shift so it’s definitely a quick read!

Anything written by Alice Feeney I will devour. I have been hooked on her writing style since I picked up my first book from her. She has a way of writing the most heart-stopping chilling thrillers that will have you guessing until the end. This book was no exception. From the very beginning, this book has you thinking about whether or not everything is real.

Thank you @flatiron_books & @macmillan.audio for the complimentary eArc and the audio version as well. My thoughts are my own.
I love Alice Feeney! She is the Queen of Twists and she always manages to surprise me! This story begins and ends with two separate Mother’s Days, one with a baby who was kidnapped from under her grandmother’s watchful eye, and another, with a murder, twenty years later.
EDITH is an octogenarian who is plotting her escape from a nursing home. Edith fancies herself a detective.
CLIO is Edith’s daughter. Clio and Edith don’t have the best relationship. They aren’t even speaking. Clio lives alone and has a lot of regrets.
PATIENCE works as a cleaner at the nursing home. She befriends Edith and allows Edith’s dog to secretly visit her.
FRANKIE hasn’t spoken to her own daughter in quite awhile and she is looking for her.
These 4 women are somehow connected and they need each other to solve an old crime.
This book grabbed my attention from the first chapter! The multiple perspectives were a bit confusing at first, but I soon figured them out. I couldn’t stop turning the pages. Alice Feeney never fails to end with the ultimate twist!
This book deals with postpartum depression, kidnapping, guilt, regret, and tackles a lot of mother-daughter issues. I love Alice Feeney’s writing style and she is an auto-buy author for me!

Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC audiobook of this to review!
I haven’t read many books by Alice Feeney, this was my first. I did enjoy the writing style. It was fast paced and kept me interested, but I did feel confused for most of the story - trying to keep characters straight and the bouncing of storylines was hard! Overall, this was a good read and I would recommend, wasn’t a favorite unfortunately. I will definitely give her other books a try as I did love the writing style otherwise.

Alice Feeney is an auto-buy author for me, as I love the way she keeps the reader guessing and has some of the most shocking, clever twists out there. I know Feeney's writing style can be a bit vague and confusing until the twists and reveal at the end, but as this was such a slow burn with so many POVs, I wasn't very invested in any of the characters. There was a jaw dropping twist for me at the end, but I still felt this book just hit middle of the road for me. The narration was well done and easy to listen to. Thank you Macmillan Audio for the copy through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Another Alice Feeney hook, line and SINKER! The twists and turns had me listening to the very end while ignoring all the things!
Long story short, there are two crimes that happen in two different timelines (About 20 years apart). They are intertwined...but how? A baby is stollen out of a stroller in the grocery store years ago. Present day, there's a murder in a nursing home. The same home that Edith is forced into by her daughter, Clio. Patience is Edith's care worker and is also on the run from her own mom who Patience believe has been lying to her her whole life.
Ok...that's all you get until you actually read (or listen) to it because friends...you need to!
Seriously, I was hooked and while thought I knew the ending...I was mind-blowingly NOT RIGHT. This is the perfect thriller to start in the precious 'ber months and will DEF not disappoint!
Thank you NetGalley and Macmillan Audio for the audiobook of this amazing thriller!

I enjoyed listening to this audiobook, both narrators did a superb job bringing each character to life. The story tackles family dynamics, deception, and the lasting effects of past traumas. It delves into the emotional journey of the characters as they explore and search for answers and face the consequences of their actions. The relationships between the characters feel like everyone has hidden motives and intentions. The characters are well-developed, and the plot is well-crafted, if you are into compelling and gripping stories, this book is for you.

I’m usually okay with multiple POVs but this one seemed difficult to follow in audiobook version. Especially since all POVs were from the same narrator. She’s amazing, but it took awhile to get into it. It picked up and ended better than I expected, but listening wasn’t as pleasant as reading it could have been.
