I have always dreamed of making beautiful, Pinterest worth bread at home, but it has always seemed incredibly overwhelming. The explanations and definitions in the beginning of the book immediately made me feel like I could tackle my bread baking dreams.

The bread seems very straightforward and the recipes for the bread itself are very clear. Turning bred into beautiful artwork is something I will definitely need to practice before it looks as good as the photos in the book, but the way this book explains it, I do truly feel that I can get there.

The extra recipes at the end were a really nice bonus and I can see myself making those as well.

Well, all the recipes in the book look nice and artistic. I never thought foccaxia could be presented in so many ways. Not sure I'd have the patience to make any, this book would be perfect for those who are patient enough. They sure look delicious and creative..

These breads certainly are beautiful. I looked at them said "I cannot do that, but I can try." So that's my goal.

Presents exactly what the title says: beautiful bread! Variously decorated focaccia, although I was presently surprised to see sweet variations alongside more conventional focaccia recipes. Also appreciated that measurements were included in both cups and grams, and temperatures in F and C (Why can't all recipe books do this?). Beautifully photographed throughout - my favourite was the first section with flower-themed loaves, but the book also covers bread inspired by works of art, nature, and holiday-themed decorating. A great resource for any keen baker.

This is a beautifully photographed book on how to incorporate flowers in making focaccia. Wonderful recipes including basic focaccia recipes. Good book.

A lovely book on styling bread with beautiful vegetables and decorations. The base bread is focaccia and then the beautiful arrangements are on top to creat lovely scenes, all edible. This would be a nice gift to a bread baker.

This is an interesting book but with a very limited purpose - the book has 4 recipes for focaccia dough, and then the remainder is about how to shape and decorate those recipes in specific ways.
It contains a lot of info about ingredients, tools, terms, and the process. Then the "recipes" for decorating are in sections on flowers, artist inspired, nature inspired, and holidays and special occasions. A short chapter at the end has some additional recipes for fillings and sauces.
There are some beautiful and unique breads in here. This would be a great gift for someone who has interest in both baking and art.

Oh my goodness me, this is the most STUNNINGLY beautiful recipe book I have ever had the pleasure of reading. The bread in this book are works of art - each one literally took my breath away! And yet they’re all easily to achieve at home, with the accompanying instructions. And not only do they look amazing, they sound delicious too! The book has very clear, simple and easy follow instructions to help guide you through each recipe. I really like that there’s a photo to accompany every loaf in the book, as it helps you know what you’re aiming for. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

The concise format of the ingredient lists and recipe directions greatly appealed to me. While some recipes were accompanied by beautiful pictures, others lacked illustrations, especially in the Additional Recipes section. Nonetheless, I am thrilled to include this cookbook in my collection.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for providing me with this Arc. All opinions and thoughts are my own.

This cookbook showcases dozens of recipes for delicious and unique bread with beautiful artwork on top. The photography in this book was great and I cannot wait to see a physical copy of this book when it comes out.

The bread looked delicious and I can’t wait to make it myself. The tips provided were very helpful.

Thanks to NetGalley, the author and the publisher, for the opportunity to read and give an honest review of this book.

What a fun book with beautiful illustrations of decorated focaccia, both sweet and savory. The recipes are colorful and they look delicious. What a great addition to a special meal this loaf of bread would make.

The author begins her book with a discussion of bread making tools and ingredients. Then, she includes several basic focaccia bread recipes.
She discusses the types of fruit and vegetables to be used in the ‘pictures’ on the breads.

This fun way of baking and decorating bread would be a creative outlet for the home baker. This book would be a perfect addition to the library of any bread baker.

I can’t wait to try some of these recipes with fresh vegetables from my farmer’s market.

Do I think I will be able to make all these beautiful recipes? No, Will I try? Yes. Will I probably fail? Definitely, but I don't care. This book really makes think I can be an artisanal baker who gifts beautiful breads to friends and family.

I bake bread frequently. The basic breads in this book are simple for even beginners to make. But the decorations are not that difficult, and are wonderful! The "decorations" are well described, and the instructions are well written. Do you want to wow your family or guests with a beautiful floral bread? How about a flat bread decorated like an Easter egg? Or a bread that resembles a well know piece of artwork like Claude Monet's Lily Pond? All of the breads are completely edible. I want to bake some of these, just because they are so beautiful - and impressive.

I received an advance copy of this book from NetGalley.

I am so excited about this book! Beautiful Bread is one of my favorite pastimes that I picked up during the pandemic, so I can’t wait to reference this book during my next baking day. I know that people who picked up this hobby recently are going to latch on to this book. I definitely recommend

What a gorgeous book. The recipes are simple and easy to follow. More importantly they work! I tend to knead using a kitchen aid mixer and so far I have made 4 different types of bread and each has been delicious

This book was around 3.5 stars for me.

This book has 3 base focaccia recipes and then instructions for topping them in various ways. I like that the book includes both savory and sweet options including fruit which I haven't seen before. There are also some beautiful bread photos! But while a lot of the loaves are beautiful I do wonder how they taste. For example I don't personally think bread covered in just onions appeals to me taste-wise even if the onion makes for nice decoration. I also think it's interesting that the photos included in the book are mostly pre-baked loaves and not once they're baked so we don't necessarily see how the loaf actually turns out.

Overall not a bad introductory book for making focaccia.

This book has a lot of great content! I would not consider myself a bread maker but the author makes the recipes and instructions very clear. However I was somewhat disappointed in the visual appearance of the bread.

As an experienced and frequent bread-maker I requested this for ideas to broaden my bread making game. It certainly does that in an imaginative and fun way. Lots of brilliant ideas to spruce up the appearance, and taste, of Focaccia. I typically go for the odd bits of onion/herbs across the top - tasty if not artistic. This has given me a lot of ideas to produce a beautiful looking bread, the crown on the table rather than background. There is also a thorough and clear section at the beginning for those not familiar with focaccia or bread making thus it's an all-round book really. Measurements are in cups and metric. Ingredients all easily found in any town. A little repetitive, especially for the first couple of stages of vegetable preparation but once you've made a couple of the breads you'll gloss over them. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an advance copy.
