THIS is a beautifully written book, and it is a story where you will learn about Ukraine and Russia and the people that live there. The story is the romance between an American businessman, John, and a younger Ukraine girl, Irina. They have many obstacles to overcome just to be together that are not what they would experience if they were both American Their journey is beautifully crafted and takes some very unexpected turns that kept me thoroughly engaged and invested in their story. John and Irina wade through so much to reach a happy ending.

This story is based on real life events between two people from different cultures along with a language barrier. Herbert Harrison has written a truly heartwarming tale that effortlessly bridges cultures and celebrates the magic of love that knows no bounds of age, language, or background.  Thanks to NetGalley and to the publishers of this book for giving me a free advance copy of the book to preview and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
