I'd recommend this book to anybody who is an assistant, as well as anyone who works with an assistant. This book made me reconsider how valuable assistants can be, as well as consider how to best utilise the skills of the assistants around my role.

Knowledgeable, relatable and highly generous with her knowledge, Brazier has filled this book with top tips covering a range of levels of skill and experience, ranging from standard skills, through to taking a role in strategic planning. This book is a valuable resource for any and all assistants and administrators.

I absolutely love this book - having been an EA for nearly two decades, this would have been the bible for me when I was just starting out in this role! Right from the beginning of the book, with the really interesting explanation of how this role has developed in response to wield events, through to imagining how it will change with technology and AI, this is a fascinating guide to being an EA today. Can't recommend this enough to anyone currently in the profession, or thinking of going into it.

This was so good! As a former administrative assistant, turned librarian, and now thinking of returning to the administrative role, this book was full of helpful information and insights. A keeper!
