Thank you NetGalley for this advance reader copy in exchange for my free and honest review. This book was amazing from start to finish. Although I had an idea of the scenario, the way the story was craved and delivered was nothing short of amazing. I just found a new author I adore! Don’t miss this one!

Someone is watching... This thriller follows Hanna, a woman with a seemingly idyllic life. She's married, wealthy, and has two grown children and several good friends. But what you see isn't always what you get. There are secrets in Hanna's life, and someone is taking an unhealthy interest in them. After a violent crime, Hanna's world starts to crumble. Things will never be the same.

I did enjoy this psychological thriller, though I have to say that I found it to be extremely predictable. I knew the main twist almost as soon as we were introduced to a certain character, but I still enjoyed the ride. I am always interested in novels with an element of mental health, and I felt that this one did do a good job. I liked the friendships that Hanna had with Andee and Seb as well. There's a ton of family drama to keep things interesting. A worthwhile read, though maybe not the most innovative thriller I've read.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This book started off slow but if you can stick with it…it’s a pretty well written thriller. Not so much a page turner for me thoughbbb

Thank you netgalley.

This was a solid thriller! The second half moves faster than the first which could be a problem for some people but I didn't mind. Overall, I enjoyed this and would recommend it! Special Thank You to Susan Lewis, Harper 360 and NetGalley for allowing me to read a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review.

Everyone in this book is rich and perfect and do everything right, at least in the beginning. That annoyed me. The couple is so perfect and in love that they have affairs. Their house is the most perfect and beautiful house of all time.
I found it off putting. Give me a flawed mom who maybe hates her husband a little and has dusty baseboards.
Thanks!

Thank you to the publisher, and Netgalley for a copy to review.

I liked it. I admit it did start out a little slow, but as I kept reading it got better. I was trying to keep the characters straight, but I think the author might also of been purposefully trying to throw us off, but i could be wrong about that. I partially guessed something part way through, but was still shocked at the actual reveal since i wasn't fully correct. I would say this is a great read for the mystery reader who isn't too much into the thriller genre. It has some thrills, but to me is more of a drama/mystery. It definitely keeps the reader guessing still which is always fun. If you decide to read this, I hope you enjoy.

OMG. THIS. BOOK.

I totally judged this off of the cover and thought “ehh..” but decided to give it a shot. Let me tell you.. I’m so happy that I did!!

The first half of this book I didn’t really know when or how I was going to be thrown for a loop. I had worked out all types of directions it could go and then it hit me. BOOM 🤯

I couldn’t put this book down and found myself making any and every excuse to finish it. So if you feel like being super unproductive, drop what you’re doing right now and order this book!

Thank you @netgalley and @harpercollins for this ARC. I appreciate it so much!

No One Saw It Coming lives up to its name! Great book, builds up slowly as you get to know Hanna and Jack, plus their friends and family. Really makes you do a double take when you think everything is going perfectly!

Intriguing and thrilling, plus shocking and even discusses some mental health. I enjoyed this one very much.

Thank you to NetGalley and Harper 360 for this eARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

“𝗛𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗼𝗻.”

This book has a lot of potential, but I felt there were some parts in the start of the story that seemed to drag, specifically in the beginning half of the book. However, once the penny dropped and drama began it started to grab my attention more.
The exploration of mental health was a notable and engaging aspect of the story.

While it may not be the most unforgettable book, it certainly presents solid concepts and well-developed characters.

Thank you NetGalley for an advanced copy of this book!

Overall I liked the story and plot. I think the twists are good ones but I did see the big twist coming early one. I gave it only 3 stars for two reasons.
1. I felt like it was set in the 1950s instead of modern day. I had to keep reminding myself what time period the book was and this bothered me for some reason.
2. I did not feel connected to the characters. Their development felt rushed to me.

I do think if you are looking for an easy read then this would be a good one to pick up.

This was my first book by this author, and I would read another. Thank you to NetGalley for the electronic copy to preview and review.

This book was fast paced and kept the pages turning. It was slow to get going and a lot of characters to try and juggle, but eventually it came together and made sense and began to take off. The plot and resolution is a bit far-fetched, but overall the book entertained me and kept me going. The ending was a bit drawn out, but overall a decent, if forgettable, read for a weekend away.

Book: No One Saw It Coming
Author: Susan Lewis
Format: Digital
Genre: Thriller, Crime/Mystery
Places Featured: United Kingdom
Review Score: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Review: While everything isn’t quite perfect, Hanna has a pretty good life–a loving marriage, a fantastic home, supportive fun friends, and two children. Her husband’s best friend, Seb, also has a pretty good life–a good job, a comfortable home, and a budding new relationship with someone he could see himself falling for (for the first time since his wife died a few years before). It all falls apart, though, when someone they both love is killed. And as the family’s secrets are revealed, it all gets even worse. The story takes a bit to get going and, once it does, it can be a bit predictable (thanks to a few journal entries interspersed in the story). But it’s a book that you want to keep reading with good character development and interesting twists.

This book was just ok- it read a bit like a YA book to me. It centers on Hanna, who seemingly has it all, but it turns out there are some cracks in her perfect life. You also get occasional chapters from Blanche, who is initially not connected to the story until the author ties everything together.

The first half of the book is pretty straightforward, and again, I felt like it read like a book for younger audiences. It takes a big turn in the 2nd half of the book, but I saw the twist coming. I liked the twist and the 2nd half of the book better than the first half, but I just wasn’t that surprised by anything that happened and some of it seemed pretty unrealistic. The ending was mostly satisfying to me, though I didn’t think the mini twist on the last page was necessary.

Overall, this was an ok read that kept my interest but not my favorite. I’d give it 3.5 stars, rounded up. Thanks to Netgalley for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Secrets lie at the heart of every family in No One Saw It Coming by Susan Lewis.

An unimaginable crime has been committed, and everyone’s looking for someone to blame. Hanna's loved ones are under suspicion. Now she must work out who is threatening her family before it’s too late.

I would check out more books by this author, but I may not be the intended audience for this particular book. It took me some time to read and get into it. The story was a bit slow in the beginning. The middle was good, and as other reviewers mentioned, it kind of veered off a bit toward the end.

This book was quite an experience! It encompassed a captivating blend of suspense, action, intrigue, murder, gaslighting, abuse, mystery, and even multiple personalities, making it a compelling "whodunit" with some mind-boggling twists and turns. While I found the beginning a bit slow, struggling to get a grip on the characters, the middle part truly hooked me as the plot thickened and mysteries deepened.

However, as the story progressed, I must admit I had mixed feelings about the direction it took. The portrayal of the effects of trauma seemed somewhat sensationalized, and this made it harder for me to connect with the story on a deeper level, leaving a sense of detachment. Towards the end, the intensity didn't quite match my expectations, and I found myself wanting to skim through some parts.

Despite my reservations, I appreciate the opportunity to have read this book through Netgalley and the publisher. It had its moments of brilliance, particularly in the middle, but ultimately, I felt somewhat unsatisfied with the overall experience.#NoOneSawItComing #NetGalley
