An excellent addition to the series. In this volume there is much more development with the character's personalities and backstories. The story focuses on being comfortable with yourself while acknowledging your insecurities, looking past your differences, problem solving, and fantasy. Of course the romances gain a little extra drama but it was not overbearing while seemign to shift it's focus more to all of the royal children. If you were a fan of the first two books, this book is undoubtly a good book to pick up but it's best if you start with one of the other two first to understand a few key plot points that will otherwise only be subtly understood through context clues.

Allllll the stars! This series has become one of my all-time favorites. The art is fantastic, the humor often makes me laugh out loud, and the storyline is so wholesome and captivating. All the characters have their own distinct personalities and problems, and it's truly refreshing to see a female MC who is not actually that attractive yet still gets to have adventures and ups and downs like everyone else. I NEED volume 4!!!

This is such a cute graphic novel! I love all of the characters but honestly I think that the cursed princesses are my favorites. I love anytime that they are on the page. I can't wait for the next volume!

Though her friends and family see the beauty within Gwen, she is still having trouble seeing it herself. It is showing up in the cracks that she sees when she looks in the mirror. But there is a new man in her life, a portrait artist who is bored by the regular beauty he sees in the world. In Gwen, he has found a new muse and a flavor of beauty that sates his jaded palate.
At the same time, the pastel king has finally allowed his princesses a bit more freedom. They can go on dates with their fiances from the plaid kingdom. But does Frederick still want to be engaged? He isn't sure but he doesn't want to give up.
The Cursed Princess Club is dealing with a lot. They were sure that Gwen wasn't cursed but, after looking at her family portrait, they aren't so sure as they once were. Oh, and Nell's had a premonition that one of them will die before the new moon passes.

3.5 ⭐️

While I still think this series is cute and has valuable messages and lovable characters, I just really didn’t enjoy this one as much as the others. The story feels pretty disjointed and maybe like it’s just a bridge to the rest of the series? Or like the creator hadn’t planned for the story to go on for as long as it has and is now just prolonging the plot for content? I may continue with the series in the future, but I’m having a hard time maintaining interest.

This volume does include a set of discussion questions and a cute little matching game, which are neat add-ons!

This was such a fun continuation of the Cursed Princess Club graphic novel series. I love the friendship that Gwendolyn has with the other princesses and her siblings! The art is stunning as usual, and this story is one that I happily recommend to many partons who are looking for something but they're not sure what they're in the mood for, because it has something for everyone!

I had been told that this series was great and that I needed to read it. I'm sorry to say that I wholeheartedly disagree when it comes to my tastes.
The art is barely even sketchy and very rough in places where it has no reason to be. An artistic choice and style that seems to have hit it with a lot of people, but one that I can't get over. It's just not for me.
The story is somehow both infantile and overly complicated, where nothing really happens to support significant character growth in the insane amount of characters while simultaneously having way too much happening at the same time.
It might be a combination of me not being in the right age group and jumping in with volume three, I'm perfectly willing to go with that, but I honestly did not enjoy reading this one at all.

Thank you to NetGalley and WEBTOON Unscrolled for the chance to read.

Gwendolyn, the youngest of the king’s three daughters is not your typical fairy-tale princess, in the Pastel Kingdom. Gwendolyn has a big heart and loves baking. She isn’t particularly attractive. Her sisters are more normal and have the woodland creatures do their hair and makeup. They like to sleep among the flowers blossoms.

When her father proposes marriage for her and her sisters to make an alliance with the Plaid Kingdom, it breaks Gwendolyn’s heart to hear that Prince Frederick thinks she’s “really ugly.” Hurt beyond measure, she runs away into the forest and encounters the surprising world of the Cursed Princess Club, where her life will never be the same.

The Cursed Princess Club is made up of the outcasts, misfits and cursed princesses who have created a tight circle of friendship. In their presence is where Gwendolyn learns to embrace her uniqueness and find her people.

Lovely illustrations with a message so necessary but not unique.

When I started this series, I remember thinking that the characters were pretty annoying and the humor was pretty lame...but man, am I glad I kept reading. It has gotten better with each volume.

I appreciate how we've gotten to know so many of the characters (though I'm still waiting for the sisters and princes to grow a little). I'm obsessed with Jamie and am looking forward to future interactions with Leopold, and I'm excited to see where Prez's storyline goes. There are so many compelling stories now that I'm not even all that bothered that Gwen and Frederick have taken a bit of a back seat.

Excited for the Volume 4!

While the quirky style will definitely be what someone is looking for, it was not for me. I couldn’t get oriented enough in the story to enjoy it.

This is hands down one of my absolute favorite Webcomics now.

The Cursed Princess Club is like a big, magical cinnamon role. It's low stakes fantasy in gorgeous color centered around Princess Gwen, who discovers something about herself she never knew before. The escapades that occur around her finding a love for herself in a world that feels suddenly a little less kind than what she believed are full of friendship, heart, and hilarity.

But seriously, it's entirely too hilarious at times. I mean, I've literally gaffawed and kicked my feet every single episode. The story has caught me off guard so often I honestly cannot help myself. It's so wholesome and the art is gorgeous!

I am still reading through the rest of the comic, but I definitely will need to collect all the hard copies along the way. So happy I was approved. This has definitely lit up my life in a big way.

Thanks to Webtoons Unscrolled, Netgalley, and all the contributors for this amazing comic and the advanced ebook of the hard copy.

Laverne the Llama for president!

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for a copy of this title in exchange for my review.

We left off the last volume with Gwen being approached by Sir Leopold of the Argyle kingdom! What could he possibly want? Well, we embark on a journey of Gwen's family and friends helping her learn how to love herself in their own ways. We see some characters from the past brought up, and there's even a grand reveal. Can you guess who's back? (I did not see that one coming)

In all, this third installment kept me once again engaged and laughing through the whole thing. We see Gwen begin to realize the truth of loving yourself- it's different everyday. Not only that, but other characters are experiencing life and their own self-discoveries as well. Everybody is on a journey, and it's a great ride so far. 5/5 stars.

In this newest volume, Gwendolyn meets more cursed princesses and Frederick realizes that she is not a scary as he thought.

I am really enjoying this series. The art is wonderful and the characters are engaging. I like that we get to see the stories of the other princesses. This series is about embracing who you are and learning to love yourself with the world reflects something different. Everyone should read this book!

This comic is cute, funny, and just so fun to read! With beautiful art and a cast of characters that you can't help but to like I would highly recommend not just this volume but the whole series.

I enjoyed this continuation of Volumes 1 & 2 of the Cursed Princess Club.
It started out as a very silly, humorous, tongue-in-cheek series and the humor continues but the plot becomes a bit more serious and thoughtful as the volumes continue.
I like how Gwen and Frederick are portrayed in dealing with their anxieties. It is a great fantasy depiction of coping with mental illness, self image, confidence, and anxiety which can be more appealing than the typical realistic fiction “issues” books that is complemented by many splashes of humor.
The tension between Frederick and the Argyle Lord adds more conflict and a quicker pace to the story.
The story continues to reflect on family and found family through Gwen’s sisters and the Cursed Princess Club.
Great for fans of the series!
