My daughter and I really enjoyed diving into this book together and learning so much. It was so beautiful and would make such a beautiful coffee table book. Thank you for this ARC for my honest review.

Wellness Witchery is a comprehensive guide to creating your own wellness apothecary from your garden. Collect, prepare, and make your own essential oils, teas, tinctures, and more. It is filled to bursting with recipes for oil blends for a multitude of purposes, which you can make either with oils you've made yourself, or that you've purchased. Recipes are organized in chapters based on their purposes. I especially love the ginger tumeric tea!

Gosh I read this when i first received it and my review is late…. I adored the layout, the authenticity that the author puts into this book.
I would recommend this for any kitchen witch or herb girly out there; I plan to add it to the bookcase for sure.

A wealth of information uniquely separated. As a brown-thumb newbie to plant work, much of it was way beyond me...but I really liked some of the recipes.

I'm very new to witchy anything but have been researching and taking in so much information. This book was so helpful! Especially in my current place in life. It helped with so many things and filled a lot of holes in my knowledge. It helped with some self discovery in what I'm looking for and even helped guide my husband. I will reference this book for years to come without a doubt.

Wellness & Witchery
I will start out by saying I think that this book may have been a little more advanced than I currently am. I liked that the recipes were separated by emotion, I think that brought something new to the book that really helped it to make sense. But it seemed like a lot of ingredients and a lot more work than I am currently able to handle as a novice. I could see this being great for someone who has a bit more of a green thumb to grow their own plants and herbs, and ability to work in the kitchen, because I do not.

I loved this book. It was so informative and easy to read and understood. The spells were fun and I loved the recipes too!

As I suffer from a couple of chronical illness I'm always very skeptical about wellness and similar. I think that the illness should be cured by doctors but anyone chose their own destiny
That said there's interesting ideas on how to use herbs for feeling well.
Easy to follow and informative
Recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher for this ARC, all opinions are mine

Book Review: Wellness Witchery by Laurel Woodward 🌿✨

⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 stars

Recently, I had the opportunity to review a copy of a book called “Wellness Witchery” authored by Laurel Woodward. Believe me when I say, it will have an enchanting effect on your mind, body, and spirit! This self-wellness guide is all about using the power of nature and magic to help you become the best version of yourself. It’s easy to read, easy to understand, and filled to the brim with herbal recipes, oil blends, and rituals that will totally transform your life. ✨🌱🔮

Wellness Witchery is all about integrating a little bit of magic into your daily routine. Laurel Woodward shares over a hundred herbal formulas, more than eighty essential oil blends, and even some kitchen witchery recipes. You’ll not only learn about the magical properties of plants but also discover activities that will lift your mood and delicious foods that will heal your body, mind, and spirit. 🌿🍲💫

Woodward covers a wide range of topics in this book. You’ll find formulas for boosting your immune system, empowering your relationships, relieving stress, boosting your self-esteem, and so much more. And if that’s not enough, she also throws in some magical baths, and essential oil blends that will make you feel confident, protected, and at peace. Seriously, with this book, you’ll become a happier, healthier, and more magical version of yourself! 🌟🌿✨

What I loved most about Wellness Witchery is how accessible it is. Whether you’re a newbie or an expert in the world of wellness, Woodward’s writing style makes it easy for anyone to dive right in. Her explanations are clear and straightforward, so you won’t find yourself scratching your head trying to understand what she’s talking about. 📖🌿💡

It is packed with practical information. From immune-boosting potions to relationship-enhancing rituals, you’ll have all the tools you need to take your well-being to the next level. 🍵🔮💚

Now, I have to admit, I’m a sucker for visually appealing books. So, one thing I wished for in Wellness Witchery was a bit more pizzazz in terms of visuals. Don’t get me wrong, the content itself is fantastic, but a few more illustrations or photos would have taken it to the next level. 🎨✨

However, don’t let that deter you because Wellness Witchery is still an absolute gem. Woodward’s expertise shines through every page of this book, and you can’t help but be inspired by her passion for plants and self-care practices. Whether you’re a seasoned wellness enthusiast or just starting out on your journey, this book is a must-have. So go ahead and grab yourself a copy of Wellness Witchery – your mind, body, and spirit will thank you! 💫💚📚

I am so impressed with this! I agree with the comments on adding pictures to break up the text, but honestly? It didn't bother me during reading. It was an afterthought. This book isn't meant to be read like a story, it's clearly meant to be more of a encyclopaedia, and it succeeds vastly on this.

Personally I don't believe in the witchery and otherwordly approach here, however, the sheer knowledge and information on plants, mental health and wellness is great. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who needs a whole lot of self care in their life. You find medition, you find scientifically referenced material on most facts stated and you find a book that gives you a warm and exciting feeling of adventure and exploration in your own home and garden.

I'm definitely buying a physical copy of this as soon as it's available to me!

I had high hopes for "Wellness Witchery," especially given its captivating cover. Inside, I found a wealth of valuable information, but the presentation left much to be desired. The book, while informative, read more like a manual and could have greatly benefited from the inclusion of illustrations or visuals to break up the overwhelming text. A more visually engaging approach would have made the reading experience a lot more enjoyable.

This is a great book for not only a beginner starting their journey in some form of craftwork or self-care, but it is a magnificent addition to a well adept practitioner's collection, as well.

I highly recommend this book.

While I would not necessarily classify myself as a witch, I find that any type of wellness information can and will help those who take the time to study and reflect then add their new knowledge to their wellness plan. This book revolves around a natural approach to wellness. How can you use the everyday items around you to make your life better. Laurel Woodward gives so many tips and ahsres what works for herself and others that Ive already incorporated many steps into my life. I'm on my way to being a better me.

This is a self-care book that focuses on using plants and herbs to promote wellness. It breaks down different herbs, what they can be used for, their history, and some ways to utilize them to promote personal wellness. While this book can be very useful if you are looking to use herbs and plants to promote your wellness, I do wish the author had taken time to discuss seeking professional help, especially for the sections about anger, sadness, and other darker moods.

If you are looking to use plant witchery to promote your personal wellness, then this book is most likely for you. If you are looking for ways to promote a healthier version of yourself using the craft, outside of just plants, then this book may not be for you.

This is a super informative and well worded book that I've now referred to while making a few things. Want to make a decoction? Here's what that is and how long it's good for! Can't decide between a tincture and cold infused oil? Here are the directions for each, how to store them, and uses! I can't tell you how helpful that's been already!

There are detailed descriptions and information on the ingredients listed, as well as explaining the recipes clearly that makes it so easy to follow. And the tasty results of some of these speak for themselves. (I'm looking at you sweet potato burrito, which I never thought about for beauty and comfort.) I absolutely adore this book and can't WAIT for it to come out to add to my shelf.

The tone of this book wasn’t really vibing for me, at times it felt like the narrative was treading a little too close to toxic positivity for my comfort. But the information was helpful, concise, and easy to process and integrate. I really enjoyed the recipes as well!
