Great resources for a book club! I love these kits because it takes the pressure off whoever is organizing the book club to lead the discussion.

This was such an amazing and cute book club kit - the whole layout and design of this was very aesthetically pleasing and made it even more fun to look at and use The overview of the collection that this book is a part of was very helpful to give future recommendations as well as the book recommendations and the author's backlog at the end of the kit. It was also very helpful and interesting to get an insight into the author and her motivation behind the book as well as some fun accessories that can be made and shared with the group and some snack and drink recipes from the book that can be made and enjoyed while reading and discussing the book. The questions were also extremely helpful guidelines to guide a discussion in the group. And the quiz was a fun little bonding moment.

I loved this boom club kit for Kiss The Girl by Zoraida Cordova! The questions were perfect for in depth discussions, including deeper questions relating to character development and plot twists that were similar to the movie, but changed for this retelling. i loved that the bookmarks were like tickets and for their concert! The quiz about which of the mermaid sisters you thought you were most like was a cute addition and reminded me of the days of being a teenager, compulsively taking quizzes in Cosmopolitan and all those other girly magazines we all used to obsess over in our teenage years! The lip sync battle prompt was also really fun! I would highly recommend this Book Club Kit for anyone who enjoyed this Little Mermaid Retelling & wanted to involve her girlfriends in a rock n roll themed book club!

I have never read any books by Zoraida Córdova but I absolutely loved this book cover so I will 100% use this book club kit in the future! I really enjoyed the bookclub kit created for Tangled Up In You and this one is just as good! I love the drink and snack ideas and the quiz is such a cute idea! I cannot wait to use this :)

This is a great kit for when hosting a book club. There was literally everything needed. I love the food and drink section where it shows how to make Melody's Cocktail and some of the food that is eaten in the book. I love the book marks that are also in this kit. The discussion questions are great. The kit also shows so very good next reads that I can not wait to look into.

As a member of a book club, I adore a curated book club kit (especially from a collection of modern Disney retellings!) Some great aspects of this book kit are: the author interview (as a reader it can be so interesting to hear from the author and glean insights into their writing), the discussion questions (sometimes this really helps engage a group!) and of course the bookmarks, a food inspirations!
I love that you could build an entire series of events with these book kits. I'd love to see more of these from NetGalley!

This kit has to be the new way to make a book club fun! I love sharing books with others, but sometimes it can be difficult to find a book that relates to everyone. This kit gives Kiss the Girl that chance by adding ideas of snacks, bookmarks, and a lip-sync battle! I loved that the kit started out with other books in the series and told you what it was a retelling over. I love retelling so this kit was exciting to read and get a deeper dive of the book! This kit had a lot of fun activities for book club members! Including a drink and food recipe, a quiz to find out which Siren sister you are and a lip sync battle idea!

Another useful book club kit with compelling insights in the novel. It made me want to dive into this Meant to Be collection. The designs for the bookmarks were cool and original, but I'm not a fan of the front cover of the book. Anyway, the book seems to be quite inclusive and full of diversity, and to offer an interesting new take on the famous tale. Enticing overall.
