This books synopsis sounded like something I would like but I couldn't get into the story.. I ended up dnfing the book at 25%. I hope to give this author another try in the future.

There is nothing better than a truly funny romantic comedy! I loved this audiobook so much. The differences between the two. Awkward, funny, heartwarming, and very sex-positive. This is what I love about books!
The narrator was fantastic, and each POV was fun to listen to. Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for letting me listen!

Wow! I have to say, this is one of the funniest audiobooks I have listened to! Definitely not something I’d like others to overhear. I really enjoyed getting to know the characters and the detailed scenes really made me feel as though I could picture it. This would make a great movie - I can’t stop thinking about the scene with the fan! Firsts are always memorable!
Thank you to @netgalley and @Dreamscape for the opportunity to provide honest feedback in exchange for an ARC version of this audiobook!

I love a sex-positive laugh out loud romance. Sex Ed follows Mia and Ed, close friends and colleagues, as they take their relationship into uncharted territory in an attempt to prepare Ed, a 28-year-old virgin, to pursue a new love interest with confidence. I loved the awkwardness and found the honest communication about sex refreshing. Added bonuses include: supporting characters with depth and non-traditional gender roles.

I’ve been really busy so getting through this book was a bit of a challenge, but I enjoyed what I got from it. Cute story and characters that made for a pleasant reading experience.

I loved this book! Kristen Bailey and Harrie Dobby are a perfect combination. Kristen Bailey has created wonderful characters and Harrie Dobby brings them to life.
Ed is a virgin. He is 28 years old and has stayed away from relationships due his lack of experience. Mia is his best friend and has rather a lot of sexual experience. So she offers to give Ed some lessons. What follows is a story filled with love, friendship, humour and honesty. I fell for all all of the characters but have a soft spot for Mia. I really enjoy spicy, caring, characters who have many sides to them.
Overall this was such an enjoyable book. If you are not afraid of a little sex education then I would absolutely recommend it!
Many thanks to NetGalley, Dreamscape Media, and the author for the opportunity to listen to this ALC audiobook.

I do not read hetero romances very often but I really really liked this book! This was laugh out loud funny and shout out to Harrie Dobby for making the audiobook absolutely the most enjoyable listen. I adored the characters. All of the beats hit just right and I found myself desperate for chances to listen so that I could spend more time with Mia and Ed. My heart is full and this is one of my number one feel good books of the year. Loved every minute of it! Thank you NetGalley, Dreamscape Media and Storm Publishing for the advance copy in exchange for an honest review.

Shout out NetGalley for bringing this wonderful book to my attention and giving me access to the audiobook! Not only did the narrator do a fantastic job, but the story was also beautifully done.
Mia and Ed are the perfect example of so many tropes I don't even know where to begin. Between the opposites attract, friends to lovers, and workplace romance, I was hooked from the very beginning. This heartfelt rom-com of a 28-year-old virgin Ed and the firecracker Mia will keep you laughing and bring warmth to your heart.

This was a fun romance novel. Perfect for adult reads and had some new twist to general romance plot lines. It would hold the readers interest and the voice for the audio book was fantastic. I wanted a bit more at times in terms of the plot but I admit, I love the happily ever after ending even if you always knew how it was going to end.

Delightful story. Found myself smiling, cringing, being sad, being happy for Mia and Ed as they learn how to care for themselves and for others. You want to know these people in real life. Audio version has the perfect narrator.

Rounding my 3.75 rating to a 4 stars.
This was my first Kristen Bailey book, and I must say I will be looking to read more. Overall the quirky/witty banter, the sweet and tender moments, sex-positive, and the genuine friendship between the two Main characters was amazing. I loved the growth in the side character relationships as well (maybe setting up for another book?).
There were moments in the book I felt there could be a little more information or depth to the moment/scene. The epilogue was nice, as the book seemed to end in a rush, however the mention of them being married came out of no where.
The narrator was good overall. I had to listen carefully - especially in early chapters - to know which POV I was in, however they did a great job throughout.
Favorite Quote from the book: "Sometimes you need to be watered to feel the sunshine of someone's words. To grow. To stand tall. To bloom."
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher who provided me with a copy of this audiobook. In exchange I am giving an honest review. All the thoughts and opinions are my own.

I absolutely devoured this audiobook. Like in less than a day because I found it so difficult to put down! Loved it!

This book was absolutely hilarious! It's a story of a truly deep friendship between Mia and Ed. One particular evening whilst out drinking with colleagues, Mia encouraged Ed to take some Tequilas over to Caitlin whom he had become attracted to. It was away of trying to relax him and make him look cool It was very early for tequila and as a direct result of this he ended up with his head down the loo at Mia's feeling dreadful. He admitted to Mia that he was still a virgin at 28. She had experienced many funny encounters and so she offered to help Ed how to become 'sexually proficient'. This book has details, it doesn't hold back, it's funny, it's shocking but not in a perverted way and refreshing! The amount of times my partner said 'what are you giggling at?' When I was in bed listening to the audiobook. This really was a laugh out loud book! This was also my first book of Kristen Bailey's, its definitely not going to be my last!
The narrator was perfect for this genre. She WAS Mia, a perfect match in my opinion. When she did the other voices they were fabulous too. It makes a huge difference to have a good narrator.
Get this book or audio, preferably the latter it's hilarious. This is the summer read!
Thank you to Netgalley and Storm Publishing for a copy in return for an honest review!

This was a really lovely rom com with a friends to lovers trope. Ed and Mia are best friends and teachers in the same school. Ed mistakenly divulges his deepest secret to Mia - he’s still a virgin. Mia then hatches a plan to help him.
The story is a little bit predictable but sometimes you just can’t beat that! With the school kids featuring in this one I think it brings a bit of an innocence to the story which reflected Ed’s personality. There’s much more to Mia than meets the eye and Ed gets to learn exactly that as the pair become closer.
Ed and Mia take turns narrating the story throughout. I listened to the audiobook of this title and there was only a slight distinction in the actors voice between Ed and Mia’s chapters so if I wasn’t paying full attention I sometimes found myself having to catch up with whose part of the story I was in. This is the first book I’ve read from this author however based on this I’d definitely read more.

3.5
wasn’t the biggest fan of the narrator’s voice, but i did eventually get used to it. book was fine, not my favorite but definitely held my interest! mia & ed were honest and real.

Parts of this book were so good but parts were so frustrating. I really really hated her family there until the end. I’m glad that Ed got to see the truth but he did seem super naive when he believed that chick in the first place. I think one of my favorite parts was honestly the relationship between Ed and his mom- so cute!!
🌀Synopsis
Mia and Ed are such good friends. They teach together and balance each other out. In a lot of ways they are opposites. Including in their sex life! Ed is a virgin while Mia’s history is pretty chaotic. When Mia finds out about Ed she’s determined to help him. He has his sights set on one of the new teachers and Mia knows she can get them together.
In the process, Mia realizes she develops some feelings for Ed but she squishes them down so they can stay friends. She keeps working to get him hooked up with the new teacher until she finds out she’s also seeing another guy in addition to Ed. When Mia tries to tell Ed everything falls apart.
Now her job is at risk, her friendship with Ed is at a rock bottom, and Mia is just trying to keep putting one foot in front of the other. It doesn’t take long for Ed to find out the truth about the teacher and about Mia though. This truth helps them both see just what they were missing.

He's a sweet, albeit nerdy, science teacher who happens to have a neat freak tendency and lacks any game when it comes to women. She's a rule pushing, wild child English teacher with a slob issue and has more game than a "good" girl should if you believe in that nonsense. They are best friends and an odd couple, but you know what they say about opposites! This is a rom com with a depth of feelings and an underlying theme of "don't judge a book by its cover!" A super fun read or in my case listen as the narrators really brought the characters and their angst to life! I highly recommend this book if you need a good laugh, a fun time and a bit of emotional variety in your life! I will definitely be looking for more books from this author as her witty banter is everything!

I did a lot of cringing while listening to this audiobook. I usually read sweet and clean romance, but for some reason, the description of this book enticed me to me listen to it. I guess I hoped that it would be less explicit, despite the subject matter. Silly me!
The storyline is simple. A girl, Mia, falls in love with her best friend, Ed, while thinking she's "helping him out." Neither of them thought there was a remote possibility of a relationship between them working and they didn't want to risk their friendship to find out. This is complicated by the fact that the whole reason for doing any of this is because Ed has a crush on a new co-worker, and Mia has committed to helping him win the girl.
But the "help" she offers is to become friends-with-benefits when she learns he's a 28yo virgin. Once Mia talks Ed into it, a lot of, ahem, "fun" ensues. And we, as the reader, are a fly on the wall for the whole thing.
The problem is, once Mia has helped Ed win the girl he's interested in, she realizes that perhaps they weren't so impossible after all...
There's a lot to enjoy about the story. I laughed out loud quite a few times and the whole contrast between Ed and Mia's personalities was fun. But there was a lot that was very awkward to it too, like the two stories that make up the prologue. (I almost didn't make it past that!)
Thanks to Kristen Bailey, Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for an advance review copy.

Wow this is so cute and hilarious!
I’ve never read from Kristen Bailey before I would definitely pick up another book from her!
This sweet and funny story is about Mia and Ed, both teachers at the same high school. They become friends and Mia finds out after a drunken night that Ed at 28, is still a virgin. He feels shameful about this and eventually a pact is made where Mia offers her services to teach Ed about sex and to be his first. But Ed wants this so he can date other women and not be a virgin.
Ed is just the sweetest, most genuine, and respectful MMC, I just loved him! It was so fun to see his real life first time sex experiences and all his thoughts throughout.
This was such a sweet love story! Definitely recommend!
