What a cute and quick holiday read! It gave all the cozy holiday vibes I look for in a holiday book. This is one I will definitely read again next holiday season!

This is the first book I have read by Amy Quick Parrish but it certainly won’t be the last. If you love the holiday season you will love this magical novella.
Melissa finds out her husband wants a divorce at the same time as she receives a letter saying she has inherited an old house in Scotland. It seems fate is determined to send her to Edinburgh where she meets a charming Scottish-American lawyer at the airport. What follows is a magical tale as this couple head to the same small town.
A magical read with all the feels good feelings you want from the holiday season. A cute story with sweet characters.

I enjoyed the story. A holiday, feel good romance. I liked how everyone that Melissa interacted with in her new home town meant so much to her. There are a couple of highly unlikely events but it was cute.

This was a very quick read at just over 120 pages. It was a cute novella perfect for the holiday season, but I wanted more from it. It felt like the narration style was often telling us what was happening, and the Scottish highland setting lent itself to more of a showing, descriptive prose that I felt was lacking.

This was a great short story! Although I wish it was a bit longer. That would've made it even better. Things were moving pretty fast and I couldn't really connect with the characters. But there was a cute little puppy to remedy that. Puppies make everything better!

What an adorable story to start off the Christmas season! I felt like I was watching one of those movies I usually watch at Christmas.

I loved Melissa and the development she got throughout the story. Although I would have liked to go a little deeper into the romance between the characters, I can't deny that I had a lot of fun reading this book.

This was a fun, fairly quick read. The Scottish adventures had me laughing out loud. Ms. Parrish is talented and wrote a really great book.

This is such a cute and sweet holiday story - and the best part is that it's set in Scotland. :) I adore Scotland as a setting, especially for romance, but sometimes they miss the mark. This one certainly HIT the mark, and I know I'll return to it during the holidays next year too.
