There is a small but growing number of books highlighting the connection between gaming and spirituality and this one can be added to that number. Anyone interested in gaming or who knows someone who is, would benefit from reading this. It is both fascinated and enlightening and would be great for a book club for people with gaming kids and/or adults. A primer for further reading. Recommended.

As an “Atari” dad in a streaming and virtual reality world helping my kids navigate the ecosystem of games and play is an essential parenting role for me. Bobby offers more than a gamers take on this growing and ever changing phenomenon. He brings common sense, balance, and even virtue to the conversation - all super important for me in my role as a dad. So read Gaming and the Heroic Life before you wrestle the joystick (or smartphone) away from your kids, maybe you will even take up a seat next to them for the next round!
