Wow! Kiersten Modglin has done it again. This was a fantastic thriller. I was immediately drawn in and didn't lose interest at all. The four main characters were so intriguing and I loved the timeline in which they were developed. Switching between the POVs made it even more intriguing because we got to understand the inner thoughts of all the characters. I thought the ending was absolutely perfect and so justified. I can't wait for the author to release more in the series. Thank you to NetGalley for the advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

The Nanny’s Secret (Audiobook) by Kiersten Modglin
Orrick and Iris Locke are a very powerful couple and no one messes with the Lockes because if they do, they will live (or die) to regret it. Olivia is hired as a Nanny for the Locke’s son, John. Olivia loves her job and little John is such a precious boy but Olivia soon finds out that this is not the dream job she thought it was. Everyone has a secret and Olivia’s is the biggest secret of them all.
I enjoyed listening to this audiobook. I especially liked how there were three different narrators giving each character a different voice.
I would like to thank Net Galley and Dreamscape Media for a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review

This was a good, gripping thriller that was easily bingeable. It did start out a touch slower than most of this author’s books. I was quickly pulled into Locke Industries and to learn how all the pieces fit. This author easily creates unlikable characters you are rooting against. I enjoyed the multiple POVs, I found the audiobook narrators really did a good job and it suited the characters.
I wasn’t 100% sold with the ending, it felt a bit more tragic than called for.

4/5 stars
Thank you Dreamscape Media for the advanced listening copy!
The Locke family is put-together, wealthy and (for the most part) kind. When Olivia starts her new job as the son's nanny, it seems too good to be true. As Olivia gets more engrained in the family and grows closer to Orrick and Iris Locke, she realizes that their company and their family may not be exactly what they seem. Olivia commits to finding answers and no one is going to like what she finds.
As with most KMod books, I had no idea where this was going! This was one of my favorites by her that I've read so far; I enjoyed all of the narrators, as well as the characters they were speaking for. I thought Olivia was a great main character and proved to have a lot more depth than I first thought. The Locke family spun a twisted and complex web, and watching this unfold throughout the story was super entertaining and fun.

No secret, I love Kiersten Modglin’s books. She never disappoints! The Nanny’s Secret is no different, I flew through this in one sitting.
This is one that I feel you should go into blind, and be prepared for one good, twisty ride. The cast of characters is mostly unlikable, but with Kierstens’ signature writing, I was totally invested in where the story was going.
Clever, fast paced, full of tension, and hard to put down, I can highly recommend this one!
Many thanks to @dreamscapemedia for an advanced listening copy- the narration was excellent!

Thank you dreamscape media and Kiersten Modglin for the arc.
I listened to the audiobook of this one and I felt like the narrators did an excellent job bringing the characters to life.
I always enjoy a quick popcorn thriller.
I enjoyed the twists and it felt like more of a revenge story. The ending made me a bit sad, but I wish for a second part for this book.

3.5⭐
Love these quick popcorn thrillers! Thank you KMod for more good times.🍿🤩
Orrick and Iris Locke have a lot on their hands. They are owners of a billion dollar security firm Locke Industries. They have a big household staff but are now in need of a nanny for their 9-year-old son John. Olivia Mendes was hired on the spot.
There were many secrets, twists, and turns. I had fun not really knowing what direction it was going. BUT I know it'll be juicy when Orrick was described as "ridiculously handsome"!
The Nanny's Secret (2020) is a standalone thriller of the two-part "Locke Industries" collection. I'm curious about the other book now and wish they have an audiobook for that one as well. I really enjoyed the three excellent narrators Frankie Corzo, Cassandra Campbell, and Tim Campbell.

Thank you NetGalley and Kiersten Modglin for providing me an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I was somewhat reluctant to dive into The Nanny's Secret because I wasn't a huge fan of the last K-MOD novel that I read, but I'm happy to report that I really enjoyed it.
The Nanny's Secret is a gripping mystery/thriller that tries to keep you on the edge of your seat. The story revolves around a nanny who hides a dark and mysterious past, leading to a series of suspenseful events as her secrets unravel.
Modglin's character development and plot twists add depth to the story, making it a compelling read for those who enjoy this genre.
This is my second novel by this author, and I look forward to delving further into her bibliography.

eh. Thats pretty much all I can say. Not fantastic, not horrible. None of the characters were likeable and the nanny's secret wasnt shocking one bit. i did enjoy the ending though. I'd give Modglin another chance.

Olivia Mendes just became a nanny for the Locke family. Olivia has a secret, but so do her employers, Orrick and Iris Locke. Kiersten Modglin definitely did not disappoint with this one. Prepare to be on the edge of your seat. Modglin will have you believing one thing and then discovering another with the many twists and turns in this one.
I listened to the audiobook of this one and it was superb. The three narrators each take a different point of view, making it clear throughout the book which character is talking. I highly recommend it to anyone that enjoys psychological thrillers. I give it 4/5 stars.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for giving me access to this audiobook in exchange of my honest review.
This book was mind bendingly creepy and had so many twists and turns. Yet, this book wasn't too scary or gory (otherwise I would have not finished it).
I definitely want to check out other books by this author!

Nannying for a new family, Olivia quickly learns that the family has secrets.... but so does Ollivia.
The narration was good and as per usual with Kiersten Modglin the twists were good but overall this one just didn't suck me in the way a lot of her books do. Definitely wouldn't be my go-to if trying to get someone to read her.

Orrick and Iris Locke, owners of the billion-dollar security company known as Locke Industries, are beautiful, mysterious, and seemingly perfect. When she enters their home, Olivia quickly discovers everything is not what it seems. The Lockes’ elusive empire is built on dark and terrifying truths and with Olivia now a part of their lives, she has no choice but to play her role.
As she finds herself digging deeper into the Lockes’ web of lies, Olivia begins to question everything she’s learned. When the family’s insidious nature is revealed, her loyalties will be put to the ultimate test.
Really enjoyed listening to this one! The narrators were easy to listen to and made the story enjoyable. Secrets, mystery, lies, revenge, twists, this is a faced paced read to binge in a day.
I went into this one blind so I had no idea what to expect. Olivia discovers a lot of secrets, but she may have a few up her sleeve as well. I enjoyed both sides of the story - Olivia’s and Mr and Mrs Locke. The Lockes may look like the perfect business power couple, but you know things are not as always as they seem. Modglin knows how to grab your attention and keep you hooked!
Now I NEED The Assistant’s Secret by Emerald O’Brien and learn more Locke secrets - which just so happens to be on #kindleunlimited !
I felt a lot of different emotions in the end! Great twists and bits thrown in.
Thank you @netgalley and @dreamscapemedia for my copy in exchange for review!

Yo!!!!
Kiersten Modglin always comes with the twist and turns and the unexpected!! This book did not disappoint!!
From beginning and especially the end Bravo 👏
Orrick owns a big security firm. Has lots of top clients and plenty of employees. He is married to Iris. Isis cheats on Orrick relentlessly. But at the end of the day she does what it takes to make sure the company stays afloat.
Iris hires Olivia to be a nanny for little Johnny. And that's where tge games begin.
Who is Olivia
Who is Iris
And who is Orrick
There's not enough pieces on the board to play this game of chess!

YES! the twist omg I did not see that coming! I can't get enough of her books I highly recommend every single one of them.

Without hesitation, KMs books are always quick, entertaining, twisty and even a little border line could that even happen. But I am always entertained and I always get taken in by at least one of the twists. If she isn’t the queen of the popcorn thriller, she is definitely at the top of the genre.
This moved at a breakneck speed and was twisty. A little over the top for the ending, but very entertaining. There are 3 POVs and while I didn’t really like any of them, I was definitely along for the ride. I will say this ended up reminding me of a famous classic story, but that might be too much of a spoiler.
I listened to this one and thought it was a great audiobook listen. The narrators drew me in and let the story shine.

Wow! I loved this book. The narration was spot on. I was hooked from the beginning like in all Kiersten Modglin books. The twist at the end was so satisfying and left me feeling content when I closed the book. The family is filled with lies and drama and the nanny is the sketchiest one of them all! Loved it. Will recommend to everyone to give this book a listen.

The Nanny’s Secret is another suspenseful ride from Kiersten Modglin about a woman who goes to work for the prestigious Locke Family to uncover their secrets after a tragedy takes place. She also has a secret of her own. This book was fantastic! Kept my guessing, and built the intrigue with each chapter. The audiobook narrators (3!) gave distinct, satisfying performances and I was hooked to the very end. This author is becoming one of my favourites, and it’s no surprise why. She keeps me guessing!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC.
Narrators did a great job and as always a book by Modglin never disappoints!

I listened to the audiobook of this one and I felt like the narrators did an excellent job bringing the characters to life. I struggled to get into this one because I didn’t like any of the characters and I did feel several of them were over the top in ways that took me out of the story. Once the story got going I did think it moved a lot fasted and I enjoyed it more. There is another book in this world by another author I love and I feel like I will need to read that one as well at some point. Olivia Mendes is the new nanny for the very rich and security focused Locke family. The Locke’s have secrets and reasons to worry about safety, but Olivia has secrets of her own.
