The Nanny’s Secret is a fast-paced, crazy thriller about a mysterious nanny and the prestigious family she works for. The Lockes are the owners of a billion dollar security company, but they have plenty of secrets they are desperate to keep hidden. When Olivia, their nanny, infiltrates their lives, they should be worried.

This was another entertaining, unhinged thriller from Modglin. It had twists and turns and was such a quick read. I loved the multiple narrators, especially Cassandra Campbell. They captured the story so well and I highly recommend the audio version.

Huge thanks to NetGalley for this arc audio book. I enjoy it and as with all Kmods books I’ve read it’s an easy/ fast read her books pull me in and keep me reading to find out what happens next. I did feel this one was a bit predictable but I enjoyed the ending so I would give this 3.5 stars.

Wow… just wow. I am used to some crazy twists from KMod but this ending has left me speechless. But also, in true KMod fashion I should have seen it coming. The clues were right there in front of me and yet once again I was shocked.

I think my favorite thing about her books is that no matter how complicated or outlandish my theories are as I try and solve the mystery, I never go far enough. I always feel such a sense of accomplishment when I get one of them right.

I loved to hate these characters. They were despicable, manipulative, and soulless. I could not stop reading. The only person I wanted to live a long and happy life was John. Poor guy is definitely going to need some therapy.

I did feel like the pacing was a little off on this book. There were a few parts that seemed to drag on a little bit and I wanted more to happen faster.

I listened to the audiobook and the narrators did a wonderful job.

I cannot wait to start the companion novel!

This book was on my TBR since the physical book was published a few years ago so I was really excited to see the audio on NetGalley.

Olivia Mendes gets a job nannying for the Locke family who own a billion dollar security firm. Olivia quickly starts to uncover the lies and secrets the Locke family has built their empire around, but Olivia has a secret of her own.

I love Kiersten Modglin’s books but I have to be honest and say this one was a miss for me. I am assuming there were supposed to be twists but I just found everything extremely predictable and the end was quite unsatisfying.

Fast-paced, well-plotted and suspense novel!

Olivia had a new offer to be a nanny for the powerful and well-off Lockes Family. Orrick and Iris Locke owned a security company called Locked Industries which ran dark and mysterious business. The Lockes looked perfect from the outside, but their secrets were able to destroy their lives and reputation.

The characters in this story are all supporting each other without any dragging, including AJ, and Jo. Few twists and very entertaining. The content contains sex, affair, revenge and betrayal.

I enjoyed listening to all three narrators for their way to present the thriller out., especially Tim Campbell. From his voice and intonation, I was able to picture Orrick Locke in front of me - his richness, powerfulness and pride.

I really enjoyed this book. I love how fast paced Kiersten Modglin’s books are. They reel you in from the first page and are always so entertaining. I was a little disappointed in the ending of this one though. I’m a sucker for a happy ending. 3.75/5 rounded up.

I enjoyed the narration. 5/5

Re-RELEASES on audio TODAY, July 25, 2023!!!

Sipping thoughts: The physical copy of this book was released in 2020 so this is the audio version release. All I can say is the ending, the very last line had me in my feels!! But lets backup. I enjoyed reading about the Locke’s and their wealth and prestige. I was wishing for their downfall the entire time. But people with that much wealth and power hardly ever receive karma. Pick up this book to see how the Locke’s avoid paying for their sins or if revenge is served up.

This book was a wild ride! I really loved the 3 different narrators for the 3 POVs. I saw most of the twists coming but the last few minutes were bananas! A solid little thriller and Kiersten Modglin is becoming one of my auto-read authors.

This one just did not spark my interest. I think part of it was the narrators and part of it was me.
I will def give this a go again soon. But For now I cannot give it a rating of good or bad.

These people are bananas! Kiersten Mogdlin knocks it out of the park with this one! I am eager to read the next book in the series to find out what happens!

Another fast-paced, thriller by Kiersten Modglin; every single one of her books makes my heart race and my head spin as I try to figure out what’s going to happen next and I can never guess. I loved everything about this one except for the very end (that made me sad) but I highly recommend this and any book by this author if you’re looking for something to make you read well into the night.

This book was not what i expected. I was expecting a torrid affair, a secret child, a hidden identity -something fairly average for a book of this title. I did not take into account that this was a Kiersten Moglin novel

Yes, some of the aforementioned tropes are present, but not in a standard way. Moglin takes this book far beyond where the average author would go and makes sure that every twist and turn is worth the ride.

Ive seen reviews that people did not like the ending, but i thought the allusion to Romeo and Juliet was beautifully done.

We all have secrets. Some secrets are bigger than others, and Olivia has a BIG secret.

Olivia finds herself securing a position as Orrick and Iris Locke’s nanny. She soon learns that not only are they powerful, but they might be dangerous. They have their own secrets, and Olivia is determined to find out what they are. The question is, will they uncover her secret first?

This wasn’t my favorite KMod book, but I did enjoy it. Orrick and Iris are completely unlikable, which is the point. The narrator for Orrick did a great job in capturing his arrogant, pompous attitude.

I enjoyed having 3 different narrators because it really brings the characters to life.

This read very much like a soap opera, which is not a bad thing. It was a different tone than I’m used to with her books.

I was immediately pulled into the world of Locke Industries. Orrick and Iris’ life is built on mystery and lies. Their nanny, Olivia, is soon thrust into their family of deception and deceit where facades are shattered and deadly truths are revealed. This is an emotional roller coaster of a thriller. The narrators expertly brought the story to life, adding a layer of intrigue and suspense that kept me riveted. Thank you, NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for my audiobook.

I have been a big fan of Kiersten Modglin's book because she is so good a working in a twist you won't see coming. I will say through this entire book I felt like I knew "the twist" but in the last 2 minutes of the book she did it and ended with a fantastic gut punch! This was another great read from Ms Modglin.

First this first, that ending. It felt like a gut punch. The whole book was full of incredible twist and turns that wouldn’t let me stop listening! I absolutely loved the narrators and they did an incredible job to bring this book and the story to life!

Amazing book from Kiersten Modglin as always! This book was the perfect amount of romance and thriller. So much depth in all the characters!
