I always wished that my mom had made a baby book for me so that I could have read it when I was an adult but, sadly, she didn’t. This made me very motivated to make books for each of my children. So, if you are motivated…

I think that this no tech, book that can be held, is a perfect place to record memories about a child. There are many sections here; for example, one can make family tree or put in info about a baby’s parents, the president at the time, etc. There is ample room to record monthly changes over the first year, a whole variety of first can be filled in and much more.

This book is nicely laid out with lots of room to include photos. I highly recommend it to parents as a keepsake for themselves and their child.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Zeitgeist Journals for this title. All opinions are my own.

This is such a sweet, well thought-out baby memory book. The prompts are helpful but give room for interpretation. One small detail I LOVE is that each month is given two pages, instead of crammed on one page like I've seen in similar memory books! There is so much room to add pictures- big pictures that can fill the whole page, not tiny ones (again, like I've seen elsewhere). It's cute, gender-neutral, and such a helpful tool for remembering those special milestones forever.

Thank you, Zeitgeist, for the advance reading copy.

This is such a simple book to welcome a newborn in the family to record the dates, important milestones and such.

I find the content to be elaborate, including all the important details which I really appreciate. The design, the presentation is minimal and simple which gives the one who’d be using this record book/journal enough space for them to include some creative ideas of their own.

This book is simply adorable! What a gorgeous keepsake to fill in and look back on. Having a baby is one of the most magical things, so to have a beautiful book to record the highlights of their first year, is superb. There’s little prompts for you to fill in, blanks for you to add your own, spaces for photographs, and a record of all baby’s ‘firsts’ and milestones. Would definitely recommend.
Thank you to the Zeitgeist, and Netgalley for an eARC of this book to read and review.

Having worked through many baby books over the past 18 months, I have endlessly found myself looking for something more. This book unfortunately did not give me what I was looking for. It is entirely understandable for a publisher to create a generic book for parents to record various memories of their children. This book, however, relies heavily on attaching physical photographs and mementos to populate the pages. I found the family tree diagram to be disappointing, as it doesn't seem to intuitively link the members of the family. A single page dedicated to first tooth or first smile seems also a little excessive. It is a beautifully designed book, and open enough that parents can populate data how they would like, however it is not quite for me.
