Absolutely delightful young adult love story with a huge helping of the surreal and the silly. It reads on the younger side for YA but was a refreshing and enjoyable story of self discovery and first love. It felt like reading a Wrinkle In Time and Alice in Wonderland for star-crossed lovers.

This book did a great job exploring a dreamscape with a little mystery.

It was fairly lighthearted and I was satisfied with the ending.

I listened to the audiobook of this and the narrators did a nice job conveying the rollercoaster of emotions throughout the story.

Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for the ARC.

This book was magical.
The surrealism of the dream was felt, it perfectly captured the imagination of a child, but took it further creating vivid and wonderful scenes.

For me this book had a lot of meaning and was very introspective. I loved seeing the dilemmas of giving up on life or continuing to dream. The contrast between letting things happen, the dream following its rhythm, or forcing what we want to get where we think we should go.
And how easily we are persuaded by what we want, leaving us trapped in a dream, making it difficult for us to wake up.
They were small subtle messages that marked me and that I think are worth reading or listening to.

The characters gradually connect more with themselves as the story progresses, they deal with and look for solutions to the things that a dream can have, which is everything.
Zelda, is a force of nature, after deciding her purpose there was nothing to stop her, and Langston, who despite his fears embarks on the journey to get answers for what he wants to know.
They are very well built characters who stay true to themselves, and as the book progresses we just start to care for them so deeply, they are just lovely.

And the end of the book! For the hints of the book a discovered a bit of the end, but I was so surprised and really happy whit how things turn out. Best ending ever. I really wanna talk about it, because was so good!!
But no spoilers here...

I heard the book in audiobook, and the narrator's voice is sweet and smooth, and conveys emotions to the listener, making us more immersed in the story, but close and connected with all the surrealism of the dream.

This was a story I was eager to read. I liked the writing style and flow of the story and the audiobook was really soothing. I’m still listening to it but so far I really like it. Definitely an interesting listen. Thanks to NetGalley and the Publisher for the arc.

I think this is a great book to utilize for a creative writing exercise, because I literally never knew what was going to happen next. I was glad to know that this was about a dream before reading it, and I was kind of confused about who the target audience was.

This was not necessarily a book I was interested in, but I think it would be a fun adventure for younger readers.

Five stars all the way. I was upset that I got passed up for the ebook, but excited I was able to get the audiobook. So in following out Zelda thru what she has found out is he dreaming the same things over and over, and starts asking other what’s going on that others become self aware and start a mass panic thru the town, in which people start flying and realizing that they don’t remember how they got to where they’re currently at. She leaves town with Langston, and embarks on a journey so that she can rejoin the real world, but upon their travels he starts to fall for her and wants to use the sleep powder to keep her asleep. She starts to’ wake to only to discover that she was not the dreams like she had previously discussed, and that he was in a terrible accident and is unable to wake up. Thru a wurl wind of emotions you follow them on an adventure to go home
