Hey there, fellow readers! I just finished reading "Sex for Lazy People," and let me tell you, it's definitely a unique and funny book that had me laughing from start to finish. This guide is all about making those intimate moments as effortless as possible. I mean, who wouldn't want to get more bang for their... well, you know.
The book features a whopping fifty different sex positions, along with some seriously hilarious and helpful tips and tricks to keep things lazy and comfortable. Whether you've had a crazy day, just had a huge meal, or simply don't like moving too much, this book has got you covered.
The author, Ginny Hogan, brings her comedian wit to the table, and it's clear she knows what she's talking about. Ever had trouble balancing work and a sex life? According to this book, just quit your job! Of course, that's just one of the many chuckle-worthy suggestions that fill these pages.
The positions themselves have some pretty amusing names like "The Understudy," "The Slip 'n' Slide," and "The Easy Button." And let's not forget the illustrations! The book is filled with funny drawings that add to the humor. But what I liked is that there are also moves that consider different needs, like those for people with mobility issues. That inclusivity is really great to see.
Now, don't get me wrong – this book is more about having a good laugh than actually trying every single position. It's perfect for couples of all kinds, whether you're married, dating, or anything in between. It would honestly make a hilarious gift for occasions like Valentine's Day, anniversaries, or even bachelorette parties.
I have to admit, though, that while I found the book incredibly funny, I can see it being more of a bathroom read or a fun coffee table book than a serious attempt at trying out new things in the bedroom. It's a quick read, and the jokes are on point, so it's great for a good laugh whenever you need it.
In the end, "Sex for Lazy People" is a riot of a book. If you're looking for a lighthearted and amusing read, this is definitely the one for you. The hilarious commentary, the quirky illustrations, and the overall concept make it a winner in my book. And hey, if you know someone who could use a good laugh, especially if they're dealing with medical issues, this book might just be the perfect pick-me-up. Trust me, it had me laughing my socks off!

A hilarious and quick read. Non repetitive, not too expliscit, with illustrations that fit the vibe perfectly. This book will make a great gag gift for a partner, and is queer friendly!

Entertaining & humorous illustrations!
Thank you for providing me the opportunity to review "Sex for Lazy People" prior to publication.
I am appreciative and leave my sincerity review voluntarily.

This book had me laughing from beginning to end.
This book is everything you think it is and then some.
It was quick, comical and even a little informative. ;)
The cute cartoon graphics through out the book were a bonus that i loved

As someone who is chronically tired I love this book. While it was mostly satire and cut illustrations some of the tips were actually helpful. Would be a super cute book for an anniversary to a couple.

It was a quick read and pretty funny, with cartoon illustrations (not too explicit). Obviously some of these "positions" are unrealistic, but it creates a humorous image in your head.

I feel like a goal was achieved here- This was an absolutely hysterical read! And the pictures were so entertaining.

Interesting book about different sex positions and tips for people do not over exert themselves while having sex in a lazy way.

I have laughed so hard while readin this book!!! I just reviewed Sex for Lazy People by Ginny Hogan. #SexforLazyPeople #NetGalley

Is it me.. because I felt this was just hilarious all the way through. I saw a few were some more inclusive moves such as those with mobility issues which I liked. I think it would make a funny bathroom read more than a true lets try this . It is a quick read and funny so enjoy

Funny and cheesy with humorous graphics. I liked the tips throughout and could relate. The book made me chuckle and the “just the tips” we’re the most relatable part of the book.

A quick and easy read. It is funny, but really cheesy and I expected more humor or effort in the writing.

Talk about a hilarious and informative book! It makes talking about sex less scary and even for the shyest of people, they will enjoy this book. I will recommend this for purchase at my library for sure!

I was excited to read this, as I like Ginny Hogan's humor through TikTok/Instagram. However, this book just didn't entertain me as much as her videos do. This might be something for a fan of humor books/gag gifts, but I don't think it will resonate with a wide audience.

This was pretty funny, but there just wasn't a lot to it. I enjoyed reading it, but would not purchase a copy for my library.

This book is not an anatomically correct manual or a medical treatise on positions safe after medical or surgical intervention. This is a fun book with hilarious drawings and commentary. But it would make a nice gift for someone with medical issues, if only to make them laugh their sox off! I certainly did!
I requested and received a free temporary e-book on Adobe Digital Editions from Chronicle Books via NetGalley. Thank you!

I thought the humor was all over the place and I didn’t care for the illustrations. I did chuckle a couple of times and I think the author had fun creating this book.

Very hysterical. Funny. This is, as the title states, sex for lazy people. Or for old people, like me. I am 71. Or for old and lazy people.
I don't know that my wife and I can implement any of your recommendations, but they gave my lungs a laugh workout.
And now I am so tired.
Funny book.
Solid advice? Not so sure.

This book is exactly what the cover says (except it’s for really, REALLY lazy people). I got a good giggle out of it and have been constantly quoting it to my friends. Additionally, the art was adorable.

OMG. This is hilarious. Kama Sutra with a sense of humor? I loved the fun illustrations and the lazy tips. Exercise ball? Brilliant!
Thanks Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to review this eARC in exchange for my honest review on the book!
