In the final installment of the Puddleduck Farm trilogy, Phoebe faces the challenges of managing her new vet practice and navigating a rocky relationship with her boyfriend, Rufus. Amidst the chaos of dealing with quirky clients, including alpacas, exes, nannies, and cat whisperers, Phoebe finds solace in her grandmother Maggie's blossoming romance. Juggling her professional and personal life, Phoebe encounters humorous and unusual situations while tending to local animals, particularly a herd of sick alpacas. The narrative unfolds as a sweet, standalone story within the series, showcasing the growth of Puddleduck Vets. Despite the uncertainties in Phoebe's relationship, the book is a delightful blend of smiles, laughter, and heartwarming moments, providing a fabulous addition to the series and leaving readers eager for more encounters with the beloved characters.

Sweet romance. Animals included. A little predictable. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for letting me review this book.

Another wonderful Della Galton book, Although I am not the biggest Alpaca fan in the world, I did enjoy this book. It's easy to follow, has great characters and I just love my visits to Puddleduck Farm. A lovely weekend read, perfect escape.

Phoebe and Rufus are trying to get closer together. Meanwhile, her business is getting super busy and Rufus is having a lot more to do with the family estate with his dad in poor health. A curve ball is thrown when Hugh shows back up.
Opinion
I really appreciate the simplicity of this story. It was really a great read when my life was completely overwhelming. I loved that I could sit and read a chapter a night when I was busy or read a hundred pages when I was not. Not once did I get bored with the story but rather kept it in the back of my mind anxiously waiting to see what happens next. (I normally engulf books and don't have time to sit and think about them. Because of life, this one took longer. It was a nice change of pace that allowed the book to simmer in my mind.) I was able to figure out what would happen at the end of the book and am fervently hoping there will be another one.
Many thanks to Net Galley and to Boldwood Books for providing me with an ARC of this book.

This continuation of the Puddleduck Farm series lived up to expectations and was a heartwarming read. Phoebe’s growing vet practice goes through some ups and downs but it is her relationship with Rufus which is the focus of much of the book. Both of them have histories to get over but more importantly, seem to struggle to say exactly how they feel or even to recognise what they want.

Phoebe’s family are as close as ever but it is her feisty grandmother who has her own story. She is always fearlessly honest and yet bides her time with any advice for Phoebe. That is the feeling you get from much of the story: that her friends and family can see what us important to Phoebe before she acknowledges it herself. With all the animals’ stories to divert, this is an entertaining read with a totally satisfying ending.

In short: facing up to the past and moving on

I adore my trips to Puddleduck Farm! The third book in the series, Love Blossoms at Puddleduck Farm by Della Galton is such a pleasure to read. If you love cute animals, an adorable setting, and a cast of loveable characters, then this is the series for you. It can be read as a standalone, but you’ll want to read the rest of them because it’s so freaking adorable.

Meet Phoebe. She has a veterinary practice that’s thriving, even when on-call. She also is involved in a romance that isn’t quite turning out to be what she thought it would. But she doesn’t have time to think about that. She’s too busy dealing with rogue pet behaviourists, a Romany fortune teller, a mystery affliction for a herd of Alpacas, and staff relationships. Will her relationship be able to survive amidst the chaos?

Galton’s writing style pulls you in and keeps you held until the last page. I loved returning to the Farm and catching up with Phoebe and the rest of the gang. Romances are blossoming and faltering, commitments are getting in the way of romance, a mystery affliction, and so much more kept me entertained until the very end. I cannot wait to return to the farm and am going to be really sad when this series ends.

Della Galtn is a brilliant writer. Her Characters come to life on the page and you feel as if you are part of the story. This is a feel good, lovely story with wonderful characters, the main be being Phoebe. Phoebe is a vet and this is essentially her romantic story, with some intrigue involving Alpacas and laughs from the irresistible Archie, a mischievous young lad. Really enjoyed this book

Back on Puddleduck farm where love is in the air for her gran but Phoebe’s own relationship with Rufus has ground to a halt. They are both busy with other commitments but can they make time for each other or is it too late ?
Another great installment

Phoebe Dashwood is living her dream as a successful veterinarian, running Puddleduck Vets alongside her grandmother's animal sanctuary. She's also in a relationship with Rufus Holt, a widowed Lord with his own set of responsibilities.

However, both Phoebe and Rufus are consumed by their respective commitments, leaving little time for their relationship. Phoebe deals with quirky and demanding clients and their pets, while Rufus faces anxieties, fatherhood, and the management of his vast estate. The question looms: Can they find a way to prioritise their love amidst the chaos of their lives?

It's a story that reminds us that while life can be demanding, love has the power to make it all worthwhile. This is the third instalment of this series.

Love Blossoms at Puddleduck Farm is the third book, and while it could be read as a standalone, I highly recommend reading the series is order. Phoebe and Rufus are having a rough go at things. Both are extremely busy, rarely eking out anytime for one another. Add in a meddling maid and old-fashioned thinking, and Phoebe has her work cut out for her. And that's what this relationship seems to be full of - work. Several passages made my eyes a bit leaky as I really felt Phoebe was too hard on herself.

This book in the series was a bit darker and less lighthearted than the previous two. I loved it just as much but it was different. I loved how the author wrote a realistic relationship between Phoebe and Rufus. Not all relationships are smooth or the fairytale dream.

Della Galton did a great job creating this world, setting it up, and developing the characters. The side stories involving Maggie and Eddie, Tory and Harrison, and Sam and Judy added such great elements to the story.

This was a beautifully warm and romantic read, i became enveloped in the story, found myself really rooting for the characters and it really felt like a place i knew. Della Galton has a writing style that really suits how i like to read, you can skip along with the story and feel a part of it.

I can't believe it has already been a year since we visited Puddleduck Farm for the first time. I immediately loved it there and the minute I started book 3 I knew I was in for a real treat again. Della's writing is simply fabulous and so are her characters. This story could be read as a stand-alone, but I would highly recommend that you just read the whole series in order as it's the same characters that keep coming back in all the books and they're so lovely you don't want to miss any part of their story!
I really love Phoebe. She has a heart of gold, perhaps too kind, but her wholesomeness just shines through in her relationships with those around her like her gran Maggie and best friend and of course with the animals she helps. I really wanted her to get her HEA, but despite how book 2 ended it's not all smooth sailing for her and her flame.
I found it really hard to put this book down as I just had to know how it would work out for Phoebe romantically and with her vet practice.

It was so lovely to be back at Puddleduck farm & becoming reacquainted with Phoebe & the characters that live or work in & around Puddleduck farm.
Although this book is part of a series it could be read alone without difficulty, but would be even more enjoyable if read in order.
Phoebe’s love life hasn’t been as successful as her vet surgery & we follow her on the downward spiral of her relationship. I found myself becoming somewhat frustrated with the plot line being stretched out for the majority of the book, with very little happening between them. However, as things took a turn towards the very end of the book I found myself breathing a sigh of relief. A somewhat abruptly ending to the book, I do hope there’s another book to come to be able to finally see Phoebe & other characters get to live their happily ever afters.

The latest in this charming, well-written series about veterinarian Phoebe and her friends as she continues to build her new life. Lots of developments in Phoebe’s personal life in this installment as Phoebe and new boyfriend Rufus, a single father with past traumas, try to find a way ahead amidst all their other commitments and challenges. No spoilers, but Phoebe realizes some longstanding truths and the book ends on a very satisfying note. Well-written, strong and well-defined characters, and an uplifting ending.
