I've read every single book from this series over the years and all I can say is FINALLY!! Well, a kind of finally I guess. This book had a great fast paced mystery to be solved and the background story was great too. We almost got there this time. Almost! This is a fun series that I recommend to anyone wanting that likes reading series. This is a fun one!

Another Stephanie Plum. Good story but I am tired of Stephanie stuck in her life. Need something new. In her relationships with Joe and Ranger.

Stephanie Plum is back! And so is Grandma Mazur and Lula. These series are predictable, escape books. And this one is certainly no different. The main plot and characters are all the ones we know and love throughout all the previous novels. Recommend if looking for a few laughs with your old friend Stephanie Plum again. She still manages to get herself into some crazy situations, with Morelli and Ranger never far behind!

I have enjoyed this series from the beginning partly because of the crazy/funny adventures that Stephanie goes on and because of the trouble her and her sidekick Lulu seem to attract. This book did not disappoint. The ending has a surprised twist that I look forward to having answered in the next book.

I use to love this series, not so much now. Stephanie seems to be getting more and more annoying instead of getting mature. Yes, her, Lulu and grandma are hilarious with their adventures which is the only reason that I keep reading this series. The mystery was okay, it didn't really grab my attention though. Now I'm not going to lie, I will probably read the next one because of how this one ended.

The Stephanie Plum series is my absolute favorite series! The interactions between Stephanie, Lula, Connie, Ranger, and Morelli make me laugh out loud every time. This addition to the series almost seemed a little darker than usual, but in the best way possible. I always have to wonder, though, is Stephanie finally going to pick a man? Or is she going to decide she doesn't need Morelli or Ranger? I cannot wait for the next book!

I recently reviewed another series (Finley Donovan) and said I don't like comedic slapstick mysteries. Here's another data point that I must! Another funny one from Janet with the whole crazy gang. Is it really thirty??

Janet Evanovich always seems to bring it. The Stephanie Plum series is my go to cozy read and the characters always keep bringing me back. The newest addition to the long standing series continues the same relationships but with Stephanie finally getting the upper hand in some of her FTA's that show is if slightly but still improving at her job. Also the bombshells in the last two chapters got me so excited for the next way and hopefully they pull the trigger one way or the other. Would definite recommended to anyone that wants a comfort read with great characters

Love this series and love the characters. I look forward to what the author has in store next. Even as the story line goes in it keeps the readers wanting more.

Bounty hunter Stephanie Plum is offered a job that seems almost too good to be true - track down Andy "Nutsy" Manley who until recently had been employed as a security guard at a local jewelry store. The store had recently been robbed and Nutsy went MIA immediately after the robbery, leading the owner to be convinced that it was an inside job.

The job should be easy because Stephanie has known Nutsy since their school days and he's been a creature of habit. Sure enough, he's easy to find, but not all is at it seems. Nutsy has a story that is even nuttier then he - Martin Rabner the jeweler stole his own diamonds, killed a homeless man in the process and is after Nutsy because he knows the truth. It's almost too much for Stephanie to believe as the Rabner jewelry store has been a fixture in the community for decades with Martin being at least the third owner in the long family line.

Meanwhile, Stephanie's boyfriend Morelli is out of town on a business trip and her other boyfriend, Ranger, decides to take their relationship up a notch in Morelli's absence - easier to do when Stephanie is staying at his place as her place becomes too crowded with Nutsy and her assistant Lula camping out there.

The action ratches up a notch and Stephanie finds herself in the crosshairs of someone who has it in for her - which could be almost anyone as she's made countless enemies in her line of work.
The 30th book in the series, clearly Janet Evanovich has struck gold on a formula that works.
The story is pretty straightforward. Not a lot of red herrings, but this is more thriller than mystery and in that vein we're right on target with Stephanie (with both Lula and Bob [Morelli's dog] at her side almost constantly) in harm's way at every turn.

The plot is pretty simple and an average reader should be able to figure out what's coming next with each turn of the page, but it's the characters that readers have become attached to who make this a much-anticipated book. At the center is Stephanie, a talented and lucky bounty hunter who is as comfortable navigating the seedy back alleys of Trenton, New Jersey as she is in the comfortable world of the local rich and famous. Surrounding her are three people in various areas of law enforcement - Morelli, the steady boyfriend she's known since her school days, Ranger, who has just about any resource one could ever ask for at his fingertips, and Lula, once an escort and now her office manager. Toss in Stephanie's mother and grandmother, who make regular appearances, and we have a sitcom's-worth of characters.

I'm personally not a fan of Lula and she's in this book a lot. This made the book less than ideal for me, but the 'surprises' in the book (and the book ends on a 'surprise' (I use a quote here because I could see it coming a mile away)) over-shadow Lula's presence.

This is a fun read. Quick, light, and easy.

Looking for a good book? With this 30th book in the Stephanie Plum series, Janet Evanovich has found a way to keep the anticipation for the next book as high as the action level within in Dirty Thirty.

I received a digital copy of this book from the publisher, through Netgalley, in exchange for an honest review.

I have voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of this title given to me through NetGalley. This book was just absolutely wonderful. It was just so easy to get lost in and I just couldn’t put it down. I just lost myself within this amazing story. I most definitely will read more by this author.

I have loved all the Stephanie Plum books, love the comedic chemistry of Stephanie and Lula and Grandma Mazur. I laugh at Stephanie’s mother who is making the world’s longest scarf. I want to keep loving the series. I am having an issue though with the fact that Stephanie can’t make up her mind between Joe and Ranger and it’s frustrating how they put up with her indecision too. Dirty Thirty left us with a cliffhanger though so I am hoping the love triangle will be settled soon. I think for me to keep reading the series it has to be settled, it has gone on too long and I really want to know where things end up.

3.5, rounded down to a 3

Dirty Thirty felt like a classic Stephanie Plum book. This is a low stakes mystery following a bounty hunter in NJ. The series has tons of humor and strong characters. Hard to believe this is book number 30 and it’s just as good as the first in the series. Janet Evanovich has it pretty much down to a science at this point. If you liked her previous books, this one will be no different.

Last year I started working my way through the series and was thrilled to get an ARC to the newest release (thanks ) Thankfully, you can really jump into this iconic series at any point without missing a beat. I was almost a little surprised there had not been more character developments jumping from book 6 to 30, but I think it kind of works for what the series is.

Dirty Thirty by Janet Evanovich is a compelling mystery novel that follows the escapades of Stephanie Plum, a bounty hunter with a knack for getting herself into hilarious and perilous situations. Set in Trenton, New Jersey, the story begins with Stephanie tracking down Kenny Mancuso, a wanted man who also happens to be her ex-boyfriend. As she delves deeper into the case, Stephanie finds herself entangled in a web of deceit, danger, and unexpected romance.
Evanovich's signature blend of wit, suspense, and eccentric characters makes Dirty Thirty a page-turner from start to finish. The author's ability to infuse humor into high-stakes scenarios keeps readers on the edge of their seats while eliciting genuine laughter. Furthermore, the dynamic relationships between the characters add depth and relatability to the narrative, making it a captivating read for young adults.
The novel's exploration of friendship, loyalty, and the complexities of human nature provides ample material for introspection and discussion. The plot twists and turns keep readers guessing, and the resolution is both satisfying and thought-provoking. Overall, Dirty Thirty is a riveting addition to Evanovich's series and a must-read for fans of the mystery genre.
I highly recommend this book.

Another great addition to the series!! Stephanie Plum and her tight knit group are back in action and the hilarity keeps getting better! Stephanie is always in the middle of something crazy and it doesn't stop in this book. Nothing simple ever is for her! Get ready for another fun ride!!

Dirty Thirty was another fun Stephanie Plum story. After reading several books in this series, I hadn't read one in years. While the stories are all very similar, I enjoyed this return to the characters and the fun banter between them. Dirty Thirty left off on an engagement cliffhanger that makes me want to read the next book in the series.

I absolutely love the Stephanie Plum books. They have the best characters and are so funny. Stephanie is offered a freelance assignment that involves a local jeweler Martin Rabner who wants her to locate his former security guard, who he is convinced stole a fortune in diamonds out of his safe. Stephanie is also looking for Duncan Dugan, who was arrested for robbing the same jewelry store on the same day.

With her boyfriend Morelli away in Miami on police business, Ranger is front and center in Stephanie’s life when things inevitably go sideways. Her best friend Lula is convinced she is being stalked by a mythological demon hell-bent on relieving her of her wardrobe. There is so much more going on and it is all wonderful reading. This is just another wonderful Stephanie Plum book.

Stephanie takes a side job after a jewelry store robbery. She is also watching Morelli's dog that can't be left alone. Lula moves in after her home is fire bombed. Then things get really crazy and she need a little help. Fast paced and entertaining. Interesting ending with leading us to believe Stephanie will have to make a choice. Enjoyed the 30 favorite quotes that the end.

With Morelli out of town, Stephanie is left to her own devices in trying to find a jewel thief. Thankfully Ranger and Lula are willing to step in to help.
Opinion
I am simply amazed at how Evanovich is able to keep this series going strong without it becoming tired. I can honestly say that I look forward to each new installment and always walk away happy after having read it. This one ends in one heck of a cliffhanger and if I were in Stephanie's shoes, I would not know what I would do.
I highly recommend that you start the series from the beginning but you can jump in at 30 if you just don't have the time. This will forever be one of my favorite series for good reason.
Many thanks to Net Galley and to Atria Books for providing me with an ARC of this book.

Get ready for a wild ride with Stephanie Plum in her 30th case! This time, she's dealing with a double jewelry heist and a Golden Retriever with a taste for furniture. But don't worry, our favorite bails-woman is on the case with her trusty sidekick, Lula.

As if that wasn't enough, Stephanie's love life is about to be in shambles, as Morelli is out of town acting like an expert witness, as she tries to resist the charm of Ranger, who's always there to lend a hand (and show off his too tight tees). Oh, and did we mention that apartments keep randomly catching fire?

This is a buzzy, rapid-fire, and captivating ride, with a wild road trip as the cherry on top. And who knows? Maybe Stephanie is ready to finally settle down if we are to believe that ending (or at least sort through her men and make her life less complicated).

In any case, I didn't want this gem to end, Bob the gentle giant dog was a brilliant add, and but fear not, because author Janet Evanovich has us covered with 30 of the funniest quotes from all her previous books at the end of this rollercoaster ride. Proving, once and for all, she is the funniest out there.

Overall, if you're in the mood for hilarity, mayhem, and a dog with questionable food/furniture choices, here is the book for you!
