I really enjoyed the body positivity in this and the female main character was so sweet hearted and I just felt for her.

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! I was able to listen to this while I was doing work around the house, but I found myself getting distracted by the book so my housework did not get done. But I don't regret a single minute. I highly recommend this audiobook to EVERYONE!!!

Audiobooks are so dependent on having the right narrators. Unfortunately, this one had a problem. I enjoyed the dual POV and dual narrators for the MCs, Rose and Angus. And the narrator for Rose did a fine job! But WOW, whoever read for Angus...I had some issues. I get that the story is set in South Carolina, so the locals should have an accent. However, he apparently studied Foghorn Leghorn from Looney Tunes and then tried to make him sexy? After I realized that was who he reminded me of all I could picture was a giant, anthropomorphic rooster trying to remodel a house and it definitely ruined things a bit for me. Also, at the beginning when he was reading and said a line that was Rose talking he was so incredibly shrill. Like, sir, have you ever spoken to a woman? Good gravy.
Then there is the actual story. It had some sweet moments, like when Rose tries to anonymously help people in the grocery store. And her finding her own family in the town she chooses to settle down in after leaving Indiana. But the actual romance was...not great. Angus had too much of a white knight type complex. And Rose desperately needs therapy.
There were also some major timeline issues. The one that stuck out most to me was that Angus's friend in the band seemingly meets a woman around the same time R & A have their first date. However, very soon after his friend is apparently married to this woman, who is now working with Rose, but there was never a wedding? And they have already been approved to adopt kids? None of it matched up!
I think this story had a good idea at heart, but it just tried to incorporate too many things, and Angus just kind of sucked. Rose deserves therapy and then someone better.

Thank you NetGalley and the Publisher for an advance copy of Curves for Days in exchange for an honest review.
"Curves for Days is a captivating and empowering read that resonates with its strong and relatable plus-size lead character, Alice. Laura Moher skillfully explores the complexities of self-acceptance and love in the face of societal norms. The enemies-to-lovers dynamic adds an irresistible layer of tension, while the element of secrets keeps readers on the edge of their seats. This book was an easy, fun read that will keep you entertained from beginning to end. I highly recommend this book for its engaging storytelling and empowering representation.

Curves for Days, while a body positive romance, was a bit misnamed in my opinion - I think there's a better suited title (what is it? I don't know, but the story is about so much more than being curvy and desirable!) This grumpy/sunshine small-town romance was an enjoyable, quick to fall-in-love read with great banter and character development. I look forward to more from this author!
As for the narrators, I didn't enjoy the male narrator. He sounded significantly older than our 30-something Angus and I just couldn't connect!
Thank you to Dreamscape and NetGalley for this ALC!

โCurves For Daysโ by Laura Moher was an absolutely delightful and emotional story with a delicious slow-burn romance at its center that had me swooning left and right. The audio performance by Michelle Price and Paul Bellantoni was perfection. Highly recommend, and am looking forward to more books by Moher.

This sweet, body-positivity romance was what I needed after a couple of great-but-heavy reads. It's sexy, romantic, fun--and shows a person who's experienced harm turning their life around with personal growth and love. Our heroine Rose learns to love the body she has AND the man who loves that body without ONCE mentioning the word "diet." Something small but significant: She repeatedly mentions drinking ice-cold Cokes from her fridge. Not Coke Zero, not Diet Coke, but real, sugary, delicious Coke.
Why do I notice the drink? Because as an overweight woman who's struggled with body image and eating since my teens, I notice every minute detail about food, even in books. Is this ingrained in me by society and its obsession with thinness? Probably. And it's unfortunate. I don't remember what work I did last week, but I sure know it was apple cider donuts that threw me off my weight-loss efforts in the summer of 1998.
All that to say, this book was refreshing in that Rose is able to heal from the fat-shaming and trauma of her past by creating a new life in Galway, NC. No need to diet to make herself into a new woman. Here, the kindness of strangers and a love affair with Angus--a decent, sweet man--help heal her wounds. These new experiences also help boost her own self-confidence and encourage her to make connections with people who love her just as she is.
I really enjoyed this book's message about kindness, too. Angus is a vet who works with other vets experiencing PTSD and Rose uses the millions she won in the lottery to help people in the town and purposely seek out larger philanthropical opportunities. Combining these messages of positivity and kindness with the whimsy of love makes for a great combo. Congrats to Moher on this great debut novel!
Thanks to @netgalley and @dreamscape media for the gifted audiobook. I enjoyed the audio for the most part, but wasn't a fan of the male narrator. It might have been just me, but he sounded older than the 30-ish Angus. Here's a pic of the paperback I purchased (I really liked this one!) with my own curves...that I'm still learning to love.

This was fun and enjoyable and loved the banter and the characters. The love story was also fine but something was also missing. I would love to see other characters get their own stories too.

Although I felt the title of this novel could have been better suited to the story, I really enjoyed this romance.
A grumpy/sunshine trope in a very Stars Hollow type small town, this bokk is about Rosie starting over and starting her life for the first time.
She meets Angus, a grumpy handyman, and the Barnes, annoyance, and sparks fly.
This plus size love story was cute and the character development was impressive for being such an easy read.
I would recommend this book to all the romance readers out there.

I enjoyed reading listening to this audio book. It is nice to have a book with someone that isn't a drop dead gorgeous in description, but Angus certainly thought Rose (Rosie as he lovingly calls her) has curves in all the right places. I like how they at first do not like each other, but then of course fall for each other. I enjoyed the humour and often found myself laughing while listening to this. Overall I found it enjoyable and the narrators were good too.

I wanted so badly to love this one. All of the elements were there for me - plus size FMC, small town, steamy hawt handyman - but it ended up being an okay read.
Throughout the beginning of Curves for Days, I thought Rose was incredibly confident even though she had experienced a lot of bullying about her body. She had been through so much and was incredibly resilient. I loved the friendships she developed and that she was able to be silly and laugh at herself. But as the book progressed her insecurities became more apparent and she was more self-deprecating. I just really long for a curvy FMC who is confident in who she is and believes the muscled stud of an MMC when he says heโs attracted to her.
That said, the writing was fantastic and the pace was good. I would read Laura Moher again.
Thank you to NetGalley, Dreamscape Media and the author for an advanced copy. These are my honest thoughts.

Calling all lovers of plus size main characters! This is the book for you! We have Rose who is new to a small town looking to find a home after the death of her mother. She is an optimistic spitfire who is getting work done on her new place by a grumpy contractor named Angus. I think this book was sweet and steamy but not my favorite book that I've picked up lately.
The one thing I think this book was lacking was a little more banter or miscommunication in the beginning of the book. You hear that these two characters don't get along and you know our male main character is grumpy but he folds so quickly and then before you know it he is (*spoiler alert*) in love. I love that these two are inevitable and that they have a secret attraction for each other but I wish there was a little more contention at the beginning.
One thing I love about this book is that even though the main character is plus size her confidence and beauty is not in question. She is confident in her body and does not question her worth due to her size. Her moments of questioning stem from her past experiences and her interactions with others, I liked that she was confident in her appearance and there wasn't a good chunk of the book where she is deciding she has value.
Overall, anyone who is looking for a steamy plus size romance I would recommend picking up this book. Thank you Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book!

Letโs get one thing straight, I love Rose. I think sheโs precious and I love seeing herself rebuild the parts of her people bullied away. She worked through her trauma and made herself into something she always wanted to be.
Itโs angus I hated. So much. He is so wrong for her and I so wanted to quit after the third act break up. He broke up with her because she was rich and he wanted her to be poor so that he could be the hero. It was honestly gross.
The writing is good though and I did finish it. Just hated Angus.

Couldn't sleep last night so finished this in the middle of the night! :') Ironically, this is the second book I've read this month where the FMC wins the lottery! This book was so fun, had some great steamy scenes, while still dealing with some heavier topics. I am such a simp for a broody/grumpy MMC so I absolutely loved Angus. I really enjoyed the dual POV here and think it added so much to the story!
I did about half audiobook and half e-book (story of my reading life lol) and really enjoyed both formats!

"Curves for Days" by Moher is an absolutely delightful read! The author's captivating storytelling and well-developed characters draw you in from the very beginning. The way the book celebrates body positivity and self-acceptance is truly inspiring. A wonderful blend of humor, romance, and empowerment that leaves you feeling uplifted and content. Highly recommend!

I liked this story and most importantly I liked the narrator. A narrator can make or break an audiobook. It was a fun read that wasn't too heavy or serious in the story line. It felt like the natural progression of a relationship which makes it more relatable. It wasn't too long of a recording. Jonna keep an eye out for the next book by the author. Thank you Netgalley for the ARC.

Contemporary romance with Dual pov (My Fav) & grumpy sunshine!
My first plus size romance which I loved! a character who looks normal!! Not a tiny itty bitty FMC like in every other book!
Yes the FMC talks down on herself but guess what?! So does every woman who has body issues!
The book is entertaining & heartwarming! Both Rosie & Angus didnโt have the best childhood but they do everything to do their best!
So many positive messages if you can get past the trigger warnings.
Rosie is building a new life in a new town after having $80M over night!
I love all books but if you have triggers check them. Iโll list a few.
Bullying, PTSD -war, SA
I liked the audio. But wish the male narrator didnโt sound so old

I just love a plus-size character romance as it feels like real life and in this audiobook, you get the full experience of the slow burn of that romance. There are many trigger warnings within this great story but I found it just added the layers of the character's personality and life experience better.
The audiobook was narrated by Michelle Price and Paul Bellantoni, I did have a little issue with the two narrators at first with the change in each narrator's voice chance of the characters. But the story was so good that I overcame that issue fast. Both narrators on their own did a wonderful job of portraying the characters throughout the book.
This book has tons of laugh-out-loud moments but the banter between Rose and Angus is just the best, I am sure I had some strange looks driving to work some morning listening away to the great story. A great small-town romance that will give you much joy to read or listen to.

2.5 stars
I enjoyed the start of this book with Rose, a recent lottery winner, setting off to find herself and figure out a new life. She lands in Galway, NC and creates a wonderful found family. I didnโt really connect with the dynamic between Rose and Angusโ friendship as there were so much weird vibes with financesโ like Angus paying for half of the pizza Rose ordered for herself before heโd eat a slice. I get that it was part of his backstory (which we didnโt learn until the end) but it was uncomfortable to sit on the sidelines reading. And then what happened when Angus found out about Roseโs situation? Well, to quote Joy, โThatโs some sexist bulls-t right there.โ There was no way I wanted a HEA with that situation. You deserve better, Rose.
As for the narration, I enjoyed the female narrator and really did not like the overacting by the male narrator so youโre better off reading this one.
*Thanks to Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for this audiobook copy for review.

Excellent romance with positive plus size rep. I don't normally like slow burn romances, but while these two move slowly in establishing their friendship and eventual romance, there is still steam burning between them. Rose is a big lottery winner who is trying to start over anonymously . Angus is a former military with PTSD and works as a contractor and veteran counselor. These two are perfect for each other and so so sweet. I loved this book. It is so good to see a positive plus size FMC where she isn't constantly being fat shamed (there is one character, but Rose handles her like I've never seen). And Angus doesn't love her despite her body. He just loves her. So good! Both narrators were great and easy to listen to. And the male narrator can read me bedtime stories anytime.
