"The empty chair, the quieter house, the people missing almost burned like fire against her skin, consuming the comfort and peaceful feeling that had once been there..."

I do love a police procedural, and #Fall by Tracy Clark is a very, very good one. My first inro to Harriet Foster and her team, and although it seems a lot happened to Harriet in #1 Hide, Clark doesn't beat us over the head with it, or assume we've read the first book in this series. We get a very good sense of what Harriet has been through and is carrying, what factors may or may not influence her decision-making going forward. A nice ode to Chicago, as well. Excellent plotted, with some humor and a really good twist. Highly recommend.

P.S. Thanks to #netgalley for the ARC.

Thanks to NetGalley and Thomas & Mercer for the opportunity to read Fall by Tracy Clark. Foster and Li are back in the second book in the series, and it's a great book. Tracy Clark s one of my auto-read authors so I was thrilled to received an advance copy and i have to admit, this one kept me guessing. I love the way the characters are being developed and already looking forward to the third in the series.

The storyline was very interesting and kept me glued to my Kindle! I definitely recommend reading this book as it was well worth reading! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!
