Indu Sundaresan's book on the history of Kohinoor diamond from its origin to its present day destination is one that will have people debating passionately about who it truly belongs to. It weaves in the story of the innocent boy king Dalip Singh who was instrumental in deciding the fate of the fabled or should we say 'cursed' jewel. It moves from a lesson in history and seamlessly becomes a tragedy that will tug at your heart threads.
