A thought provoking and insightful memoir.

As a child, from the outside it seemed the author had a privileged upbringing. High achieving parents and fulfilling family life. However, the author let's us into the how it really is living with strict parents with high expections.

As well as the stresses at home, the author also struggles socially outside the home and it is not until much later that she is diagnosed with a disorder.

The book takes the reader on an insightful journey as it changes between time lines.

An interesting read.
