Thank you NetGalley and Publisher for my copy of Wolf Five - The Magic Agent. I have not received any rewards or compensation for this review and therefore all views and opinions are of my own, the reviewer.

In summary: An English translation on the originally published story in the German language.

The author Frank Pfeifer has put forward some interesting ideas in his book such as a digital heist in Zamzoan. I liked how the author crafted that part it was interesting and engaging. I thought the main character certainly did have some sort of addiction with his love of beer, which came across as humorous to the reader. (Probably not the intent of the author). I felt this story would be excellent visually as the book felt lacking due to the translation from the original German language. As a native English speaker the structure of the book and its grammar and language detracted from the story somewhat. I think that might have been an issue for some other readers as well. Overall I thought the story was imaginative and interesting, engaging enough to finish to the end and see a satisfying ending. I appreciate the effort that the author has gone to to bring their story into the mainstream. I wish the author well on their journey and hope that this story does reach the small screen where I feel like the story can be better appreciated.

A group called the Talismans have been using magic to gain power. Wolf Five - The Magic Agent (paper from BooksGoSocial) and his girlfriend Nana were recruited after they figured a way to shut down Amazon’s website with a virus and were hunted by international police. Normally Wolf would have to kill Nana as an entrance initiation to join the group, but luckily, an alternate group of Gypsies help him create a fake head, and other fake other murders so he can rise in Talisman ranks and find their ultimate end. Frank Pfeifer has a fun adventure set as much in the psychedelic alternate world of magic as much as our own.

Fast paced thriller, Gripping and exciting from the start. Once again the balance between magic and non magic worlds is precarious and it is up to Wolf Five, archaeologist hacker and a rag tag bunch of wizards to save the world from destruction. Fun and engaging, I really enjoyed this.

I tried reading this but I hated the writing style from the beginning. DNF. I can’t really give a review except that the writing is anguish and florid. #WolfFive #NetGalley

Filled with suspense full of twists and turns and hard to put down this book has you on the edge of your seat wasn't quite sure what the ending would be. Anyhow, I enjoyed this journey and hated to end it even though could not wait to see what the end will bring.
