I really enjoyed this book. Shea's Nonna had some rules about love, including not accepting an heirloom ring so as to not have the bad karma from the ring enter the current relationship. So what is Shea to do when her boyfriend, John, proposes with, yes, an heirloom ring? She heeds Nonna's advice, and decides to trace the history of the ring's previous owners to find out if the ring has positive karma. Shea travels the world with her sister and a journalist (what fun!). I loved the world journey and the unique story, and I always enjoy a character delving into self-discovery.
