Truthfully, I really enjoyed it. I thought the banter was great, I loved the setting and the cameos of our dreamland billionaire baddies. Their individual struggles and growth were very visible. both still grieving from the loss of their fathers, and also Dahlia dealing with depression.
Julian. I absolutely loved his character. He was grumpy, witty, sexy, funny but still showed his love quietly for her—even when he "hated" her. His personal growth (i.e going into his dads workshop, downsizing his work load) was lovely to watch. He was so sweet and kind to Dahlia (when he wanted to be, of course).
Dahlia. Still reeling from a tumultuous, public breakup, she's back to her home town to regain herself and put the pieces back together. While I truly understood why she would have been depressed, I felt that the portrayal of her depression was solely researched for her part and it didn't feel genuine or experienced. It felt like it was being written for a part/character. Which is totally fine, but it lacked the depth that I would have preferred when an author decides to deal with a topic like that. For a few chapters at the beginning she spoke about taking her antidepressants and being in "a deep, dark hole" and then once it picks up with her and julian, it's nearly nonexistent.
For majority of the book I felt it was a 5-star read and may have even been my favorite book, despite the little flaws that are honestly not as bad as they could be. Still, it also felt like they went in circles—Dahlia specifically—and the whole prank wars thing was a little juvenile for my taste. And then they get arrested for it to last all of half a page? It was just weird. Also, for 60% of the book they are avoiding each other and being their usual asshole selves, then get together quick one chapter and agree to do casual. But then their casual was just them building up an actual romantic relationship. the whole time, I'm expecting a horrible third act breakup. which I should be glad never came? But I was also underwhelmed by the time I read "the end". I felt the pacing could have been a little better.
Im anticipating the 2nd book to be Rafa following his little nanny around the world and Im super stoked about that one!

I finished this book in one sitting!!! Lauren Asher has a talent when it comes to crafting magnificent characters that are not only relatable, but also grip you by the heart and refuse to let go till the very end. Not to mention that the setting of the story is pretty unique in itself and definitely feels easy enough for one to immerse themselves in. So yeah, this was a very fun, steamy, and quick read. I would very much recommend this book to anyone looking for a read to get them back in the romance mood!

I LOVED the Dreamland Billionaires trilogy, so I was ecstatic to get this one.
I stopped at 25%, where Julian drops Dahlia’s phone in the sink accidentally and she takes his out of his pocket and throws it in the sink for revenge. Throughout the book, I’d been feeling like Dahlia was selfish and not super great, but I was writing it off as part of her depression from her engagement breaking apart and her show getting cancelled. This scene just hit the nail on the head for me that she’s not someone I care about, she’s actually kind of an jerk, and she’s not someone I want to spend any more time with personally.
Fans will definitely feel comfortable reading it, as it feels very much like her other books stylistically. Easy three to four stars, likely a five for the diehard fans.
Thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks for the ARC.

This book was so cute and fun! Like every other Lauren Asher book I read, it was easy to follow along with and the plot was really enjoyable. Lauren does a fantastic job at story telling and having sweet romances that the reader can't help but love.
This was a book that I flew threw and really enjoyed for its plot and premise. Can't wait to read more of this series! The trope of childhood lovers had me hooked and really loving this new Lauren billionaire book!
Thank you NetGalley for the eARC in exchange for an honest review!

I received a free ARC from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review…. Oh my god this book was FANTASTIC, and my new favorite Lauren Asher book. I will be screaming about this book until y’all get it into your hands, and long after💜
Julian really pulled at my heart strings this entire book, and made me tear up towards the end. This man is EVERYTHING to me. He is my new favorite billionaire boyfriend. As we got into the characters and everything he has done and continues to do for Dahlia… I couldn’t help but melting for him🥺🫶🏼
Dahlia touched a part of my soul and made me feel so seen as an anxious girly myself. I resonated with her on so many levels that I instantly felt so connected to her. Dahlia is one of those MFCs that is so relatable that you can see so many parts of yourself in her, and can’t help but fall in love with her and her healing journey. 💜
A new comfort read🥰

five stars! five stars! five stars!!!!
previous statement i made: never have i ever cried while reading a lauren asher book …( lauren asher has officially been added to the list of authors that have made me cry.)
i didn’t think i could love a billionaire romance more than i loved ‘the final offer’, but i was wrong. ‘love, redesigned’ has won best billionaire book of all time for sure.
i was giggling, crying, laughing out loud and asking myself “is there a couple out there more perfect than julian and dahlia?”… and the answer is no. there isn’t my friend. this is and they are the epitome of true love.
if you’re a fan of:
- childhood rivals, to college friends to rivals to strangers to enemies to lovers (but he could never hate her because he’s been in love with her for forever)
- i love you so much that i’m going to give this guy who’s worked for me for one day a promotion so i never have to see him flirting with you again
- that one scene in the ‘hating game’ where josh templeman paints his bedroom walls the colour of lucy’s eyes, only multiply it by 1000 and you will only have a fraction of how obsessed julian is with dahlia.
- the tension and anger between princess mia and nicholas in princess diaries 2… kitchen scene is screaming palace fountain!!! you know the one
- home reno’s!!!
then you need to drop what you’re doing right now and pre-order this book.
it’s actually so unfair that i have to wait for it to come out to lose my mind with my fellow book lovers over this series. but it will be well worth the wait
thank you to netgalley and SOURCEBOOKS Bloom Books for an e-arc!

Thank you so, so, so much to NetGalley and Bloom Books for this ARC. I've said it once I'll say it again - I do not know how I am so lucky to keep getting ARCs of my most anticipated reads of the year but I am so grateful.
Lauren Asher is magic in my eyes. She truly could write anything and I would fall in love with it, simple as that. The Dreamland Billionaires series is one of my favorite series of all time and I was so sad to see it end, but the promise of this series made it a little easier to say goodbye. And boy do I feel this series taking up the space in my heart that the Kane Brothers left behind.
She has a way of immediately grabbing me with her main characters, and she did it again here. I was immediately so invested in Julian and Dahlia's relationship. I wanted to see them become friends again, I wanted to see them work through their issues and come together. And I was kickin' my feet when it happened. I always love two characters who've lost themselves along the way and find their way back in each other, and Asher does it so well with these two. I understood how they got to where they were, and I understood how they found their way back.
This book is mostly just fun. It has great character development and some wonderful moments of dealing with grief and recovering from trauma. But for the most part it's just a really fun time with hesitant lovers, meddling family, and delightful banter. I absolutely recommend picking it up if you need something fun that'll make you feel a little bit. Also if you love and miss the Kane Brothers as much as I do because some of those boys have cameos and, not gonna lie, I cried a bit just seeing them exist.
I absolutely cannot wait for the rest of this series. Hoping and praying right now that the last book is about the rival developer. I am desperate to know his story. AND the next book shaping up to be grumpy single dad/nanny? Let's GO.

SCREAMMMMMING!!!!! I wanted to cry when I got approved for this and I may have shed a few tears. I was obsessed with the dreamland billionaire series especially the final offer. When I saw this would be about Julian, I was so excited. This did not disappoint by any means. I’m so so freaking excited for the other ones to come out already! Lauren Asher, you are a damn GENIUS.
