This was another wonderful title by Lucy Score. It was heartfelt with memorable characters and I really enjoyed it! Cannot wait to recommend it to my friends !

This was such a fun premise, but I felt like it was pretty flat and even though we were centered around a construction show, I didn’t really get anything from there, and I also felt like the main love interest was pushy

Lucy score never fails. I loved the tension between these characters and the growing they did as separate characters. The ending was perfect I can’t wait to jump into the second book about Cat. Such a fun read. Lucy always finds a way to make me laugh

“Mr. Fixer Upper” by Lucy Score is a delightful and heartwarming read! The chemistry between the main characters is electric, making their journey both fun and engaging. While the plot follows some familiar romance tropes, the witty dialogue and charming setting keep it fresh and enjoyable. The supporting characters add depth and humor, making the story even more entertaining. I highly recommend this book for anyone looking for a feel-good romance with a touch of humor!

I usually LOVE a Lucy Score Book but.... this one was just defeating for me I couldn't get past the first 20% no matter how many times I tried.. Unfortunately, this one just wasn't connecting with me. . Sometimes, things simply don't work out. Right Book wrong time perhaps. Therefore I will not be posting this review to any other platforms.

I enjoyed this read! Lucy Score is a hit or miss for me but this one was a definite hit! I have recommended this to my book club and my daughter, who is a HUGE fan!

I normally like Lucy Score - and I feel like I could have really enjoyed this book.
However, the formatting for an e-book was so bad. Words were cut off, there were huge spaces between paragraphs, etc.
I'm sure this will be fixed by publication, but it was so hard to read that I had to put it down.

Thank you #Netgalley for the copy
In this Lucy Score series, we follow Paige, a field producer, and a set of twins who fix up homes. Paige's whole life is her work and hopes to eventually produce her own documentary. As you can imagine, the twins may cause her extra stress at times but ultimately mean well. Over the course of this book, we learn more about each character, why they are doing the work they are doing and what their future goals are. When an incident occurs on set, it opens their eyes to what is right in front of them.

Cute, quick, & mild spice.
Thank you Net Galley & to the publisher for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

3.5 stars rounded up
Paige works production for the Kings, a brother/sister construction duo, on their home renovation show. Gannon King is the grumpy heartthrob, and Paige is the sunshine that everyone on set loves working with. But when Gannon decides he wants something, he doesn’t give up. And he’s decided he wants Paige.
I liked the premise of these characters, and the show they were making. There was a mixture of the relationships that were building, while also trying to show more meaning with the good they were doing for their work.
What brought this rating down a little was Gannon’s pushy demeanor. Paige told him no a lot, and obviously the point of this book is the romance, but the fact that he wouldn’t take no for an answer so many times got kind of annoying, like he wasn’t really respecting what she was saying. There were probably ways he could’ve won her over in the same way without being quite so pushy.
Thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks Bloom for an advanced copy of this book.

I got this book free from NetGalley. I usually love Lucy Score, but this book was just okay. The MMC is not super likable, there's great groveling from him but overall, he wasn't great. I wish the FMC had pushed more and stood up for herself a bit more in the storyline. It has some predictable tropes, but what romance doesn't? I liked this book just wouldn't reread.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read and review an advanced copy of this novel. I highly enjoyed it and will be recommending it to others. Super fun read.

Get ready to swoon, because "Mr. Fixer Upper" by Lucy Score is the ultimate heart-melter! This delightful romance perfectly blends humor, charm, and undeniable chemistry. Our hero, Gannon King, is the rugged, irresistibly handsome contractor every woman dreams of, and when he meets Paige, the fiery PR whiz with a heart of gold, sparks fly.

Score's writing is enchanting, capturing the playful banter and deep emotional connection between the characters. Gannon's tough exterior hides a tender heart, and Paige's fierce independence is both inspiring and relatable. Together, they navigate the ups and downs of love and life with a mix of steamy encounters and heartfelt moments that will leave you grinning from ear to ear.
"Mr. Fixer Upper" is a perfect escape into a world where love conquers all, and every page will make your heart flutter. Lucy Score has crafted a romance that is as sweet as it is spicy, making it an absolute must-read for anyone looking to be swept off their feet.

“Mr. Fixer Upper" is an enemies-to-lovers romance with a compelling mix of humor, steamy moments, and deeper themes. Gannon and Paige’s dynamic sets up a story filled with both tension and attraction. The exploration of gender inequality in the TV industry adds depth to the narrative, making this journey entertaining but also thought-provoking. Fans of romantic fiction are likely to enjoy the sparks flying between these two characters and the emotional satisfaction of their evolving relationship.

Who doesn't love Lucy Score! Automatica add to cart author. This book did not disappoint. Loved the h and H.

Eh. It was cute, but I wouldn't read it again. I liked the spice, and found that I sided with Gannon on nearly EVERY single issue. Paige had some unexplained and unexplored issues with relationships that it's sort of hinted are due to her bitchy mother, but we don't get much beyond that.
The spice was great, we stan a man who likes to praise.
Paige 100% ruined this novel for me, and did not deserve Gannon in the slightest. I understand some hesitation but sweet Jesus fuck, Paige. Pull your shit together.

This copy was kindly given to me for review by the publisher and Netgalley. All opinions are my own
I read this duology out of order but this was my favorite of the two. Things i loved about this book: Gannon's grumpiness, Paige’s growth, Nonni (duh), the HGTV feel of it all, the groveling, the confession of love 😭 Lucy Score is quickly becoming a new favorite author

He started to work the laces of his boots loose. Toeing them off, he tugged his t-shirt over his head.
“Oh my God. What are you doing?” Paige’s voice barely rose above the spray from the showerhead.
“I’m washing your damn hair.”
It’s a constant battle on set between sexy home renovation reality star grumpy Gannon and his no-nonsense field producer. Paige has zero time for temperamental talent, especially one who acts like being in front of the camera is the last thing he wants.
Mr. Sex in a Toolbelt has made it his mission in life to get a rise out of her, but Paige is a master at locking down her temper. They’re on the road together working long hours fixing houses and changing lives. When cracks in her legendary coolness start to show and sparks fly, Gannon is infatuated and the cameras are there to capture it.
But he’s fallen for pretty packages before and Paige won’t be taken seriously if she’s caught sleeping with the star of her show. She also can’t seem to resist those big, rough hands. Those smoldery hazel eyes. The dimples. The toolbelt. That fiercely protective vibe.
Too bad it’s all about to fall apart.
She never should have trusted him.
He never should have let her go.

I have always enjoyed home renovation shows all the way back to watching Extreme Makeover: home Edition as a child, so this story was right up my alley. I loved the elements of the home renovations from a tv show standpoint paired with the real lives of the people in the show and those who help make the show. I wish we had gotten to see more of Gannon and Paige’s relationship prior to this season of the show, but overall, I really enjoyed their story!
