A great premise and plot execution. The main characters had great chemistry and their relationship was real and relatable. Lucy Score tackles some tough topics in this page turning romance.

This was great and steamy read and I really liked the two leads and the rest of the characters and will for sure read the others

Lucy Score never fails me. This was such a fun read. I love how it was told over the course of a year and you get to see the characters grow together. Paige had such great character growth and I love to see it. I really loved the shower scene. It was just so intimate and sweet and sexy all at the same time. I really like the whole reality home makeover tv setting. It added a lot of drama, but not too much drama. It was just such a good read.

Lucy score previous works are definitely not as good as her most recent works but I thought I would give them a open minded chance. The plot is definitely worthy it's a documentary on women in the television industry incl. pay gap, gender stereotypes, sexual harassment. I like Gannon more than Paige. I definitely had a problem with the MC. The love story is definitely relatable. I look forward to reading more of her works!

This book quickly sucked me in. I thought it was a fun premise. The chemistry was off the charts. I’m looking forward to reading Cat’s story.

THE CHRISTMAS FIX was the perfect holiday read from this series, so I was excited to go back and read the first one, MR. FIXER UPPER. All I can say is that it did not disappoint, and I think I liked it even more! Lucy Score's writing is simultaneously cozy and spicy. The perfect small-town romance author!

Lucy Score has done it again! Mr. Fixer Upper is romantic, funny, charming and simply irresistible. I highly recommend this fun romp of a novel. This is the perfect companion to The Christmas Fix.

Lucy Score does it again! Absolutely loved this book and could not put it down.
Loved Gannon as a book boyfriend & loved him and Paige together. The setting was great, loved the whole reality tv storyline. Just all around a great read, but I never expect anything different from Lucy!

At this point, Lucy Score can do no wrong in my eyes. I absolutely love her writing style and how it flows with banter. Her characters are so well formed and display such growth throughout the books. I love how she shows their personalities but as you get deeper into the story, their history and true human imperfections show. It makes the books more valuable to read over fluff that some other books are. Mr Fixer Upper is no deviation from the amazingness that is a Lucy score book. I loved it all the way through and I am loving the continuation of Gannon and Paiges story in the Christmas Fix.

Lucy Score is one of my most read authors this year and it’s because her books are just so easy to fall into and binge. Mr. Fixer Upper, which was originally published in 2017 and then re-released by Bloom earlier this year, is no exception.
Gannon King and his sister Cat star in Kings of Construction, a reality TV series that focuses on doing home renovations for families in need. Gannon is a skilled carpenter who also happens to be very popular with the show’s female viewers. Popular or not though, he has been burned before and has no interest in a relationship of any kind at this point. That’s not to say he doesn’t appreciate a beautiful woman when he sees one, namely his gorgeous, smart-mouthed producer, Paige St. James. Boy, does he like to get under her skin...
While Gannon and Cat might be the stars of the show, Paige is the behind-the-scenes person who keeps everything running smoothly. She can come across as a bit of an ice queen but that’s just because she has big goals for what she wants to do after her stint on this reality TV show and is trying to maintain a professional persona at all times. That is easier said than done sometimes when she’s constantly butting heads with Gannon. Sparks fly between them constantly and when those sparks are accidentally caught on camera, the audience eats it up and the network decides to cash in by putting Paige in the show with Gannon. Awkward!
I really adored Gannon. He comes across as gruff at times, but he’s really just a big sweetheart who can charm just about anyone, even Paige. While I loved Gannon from the start, it took me a little longer to warm up to Paige, although I definitely understood her better once we learn more about her backstory. I loved watching Gannon and Paige interact, especially as Gannon finally gets Paige’s more fun side to come out. The evolution of their relationship has some ups and downs but I really loved how their story ends.
Mr. Fixer Upper is definitely another winner from Lucy Score.

I really enjoy Lucy Score's writing and loved The Christmas Fix, so I was excited to go back and read Paige and Gannon's story.
For fans of Lucy Score Mr. Fixer Upper has some of the signature elements of a Lucy read that you'll love, like supportive besties, funny side characters, and steamy romance. I started out really liking the dynamic between Paige and Gannon - she's fiercely independent and he's a grumpy cinnamon roll of an MMC - but once the third act breakup/ misunderstanding hit they lost their chemistry and I'm not sure they found their way back.
Overall this was an okay read, but I don't know if it's Lucy's best.
Thank you to NetGalley, SOURCEBOOKS Bloom Books and Lucy Score for an advance copy. These are my honest thoughts.

Another great Lucy score book with a refreshingly adorable new cover. I simply loved the banter between Paige and Gannon. They had amazing chemistry together and I enjoyed reading their journey. Gannon is such a cinnamon roll. I really adored all the side characters within the show and the families they visited as well.

I’ve read other Lucy Score books and Paige and Gannon are one of my favorite couples.
This book is an amazing he falls first even though he’s a grump. There’s an amazing grand gesture scene that made me weep.
Overall an amazing book that will get you out of a reading slump!

2.5 stars
This left me kinda bored. I liked Gannon despite his name. I found Paige to be annoying. There was a lot of talk about the differences between men and women in the workforce. Just meh. Oh! The new cover is so muxh better than this one tho.
Thank you netgalley for the earc in exchange for an honest review.

This was a really cute book with some predictable tropes but that is typical of romance books. What was different was that this book takes place during a home improvement show between the produce Paige and the star Gannon. Enemies to lovers trope. It's has some serious sweet points throughout with the spice. I understand the strong Mfc but at times it seemed over the top with Paige. In my opinion, this was a typical Lucy score book.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for an ARC in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

Lucy Score never disappoints! Mr. Fixer Upper is a fun love story on one hand you've got a man who knows what he wants and he's not afraid to go after her, and on the other hand you've got a woman who's trying to figure out what's best for her future. Like always a must read!

Lucy Score has done it again. this book has been one of my favorite rom-coms of the year. I am a little late on the Lucy Score trend, but I am glad I found it!

I read the story. It was an enjoyable read. I say the main audience maybe the college crowd. The authors writing seems to go in that direction. The plot is a common plot for that age crowd. I look forward to reading more from the writer. I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Lucy Score never disappoints! Mr. Fixer Upper is a fun love story - on one hand you've got a man who knows what he wants and he's not afraid to go after her, and on the other hand you've got a woman who's trying to figure out what's best for her future, her dream career or the perfect man for her. This book has some of the most whitty, sarcastic, playful comebacks between the main characters, that alone is worth the read. Then Lucy Score added in the most romantic ever proposal! I'm not going to spoil it though... does she say yes or no?? You'll have to read to find out!

Paige is a producer for a home fix it show. It follows her through the ups and downs of the season and her budding romance with one of the shows stars. This is another great book!
