It's an entertaining read with a fun premise. Paige St. James is a field producer for a home renovation show that stars Gannon King (and his sister who has her own book after this one). We follow the two as they go through city to city renovating homes for worthy families while figuring out how they fit into each other's lives.
My biggest gripe with this book is Paige's character and how unlikeable she is. Gannon is clearly the grumpy, arrogant one, but he's a lot more self-aware of his feelings than Paige is. Paige's issues with relationships run through the majority of the book and it gets exhausting. The whole drama was a bit much and it was hard to believe that the miscommunication could be strewed out for so long. If it weren't for Gannon and his grumpy, gallant ways, this book wouldn't been harder to get through.
Read this for: he falls first (grumpy Gannon is wonderful), subplot about women in the industry (so much potential), behind the scenes of home reno shows.

This was actually my second go around for thsi novel as I wantde to re-read before hitting Christmas Fix and I just fell in love with the mini-series all over again. Lucy Score is a quick automatic-read author for me and for good reason.

This book was super adorable. I really loved the hero in the book, much more than the heroine. He was sweet and definitely more charming than I gave him credit for in the beginning of the book.
I think the heroine was a little too in her own head through the majority of the book, that I found I really didn't like her by the end? Even after the grovelling (which *phew* did I ever love), I don't know that she was strong enough as a character for me to like. I found that too many times I was thinking she was a little bit too much of a coward for my liking and in the end, and I stopped enjoying her as a character.
That being said, I did have a lot of fun reading it, and everything else that happened in the book was really fun & enjoyable! Gannon was sweet and I really loved every time he was on page being cute and romantic.

Cute, fun, and a bit of over-the-top enemies-to-lovers romance in this one! Lucy Score's novels are always a quick and easy read - just what I need to escape real life every now and again.

This was my Lucy Score book. I had been seeing her name for a while but never picked one of her books up. I am SO glad I did. I loved Gannon and Paige's sorry. They relationship-building, and the plausibility of the story all make for a good satisfying read. I have already grabbed the next in the series. Thanks for the ARC!

Thank you to Sourcebooks Bloom Books and NetGalley for a copy of this book, in exchange for my honest opinion.
Another hit by Lucy Score, I absolutely loved this story!! Lucy has the ability to write perfect witty romances that are also deeply intertwined with so many emotions.
Paige is a field producer for a home makeover show that stars Gannon, and boy is he a pain in her butt. They’re always bickering about something on set, until one day they kiss and sparks fly. Gannon is super interested in seeing it through with Paige because he really likes her. Paige however is not interested in any type of relationship, it’s strictly just sex for her.
But throughout the season of filming they are met with many challenges; Paige is involved in a life threatening accident, the network is pulling their strings to basically exploit their relationship to viewers, and a deranged star from another renovation show is telling the press she and Gannon were already together, painting Paige as a homewrecker.
It all proves too much for Paige to handle and she officially calls it quits with Gannon. But will it actually last because Gannon is not letting his girl go without a fight?
I loved every second of Gannon and Paige’s love story, including the picture perfect ending. I was also excited to find out that the next book in the series (Christmas Fix) is Gannon’s twin sister Cat’s book, and I can’t wait to read it!

This book wasn't for me. I didn't connect with the characters. Overall I felt the plot was boring and missing something.

Paige has bigger dreams than being a field producer on a home improvement show, but she's still paying some dues. Her biggest challenge? Gannon King, star of said show.
This book is classic Lucy Score! The entire book had the feel of the HGTV network, but a fun behind the scenes version of it. All of the characters were well drawn out, including the side characters, so you get this feeling of being fully immersed in this setting.
Paige and Gannon were everything in this. She was so strong while he was a perfect match to that, letting her be that person. This book is long, but it honestly didn't feel that way at all. I found myself not wanting it to end.
And yeah...classic Score spice.
-workplace
-enemies to lovers
-TV show
Thank you to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for the gifted copy. My reviews are always honest.

I have loved other titles from Lucy Score, but I'm not connecting with the characters in this one. The flow also seems disjointed - it follows the reality TV homebuilding scheduling and jumps from week to week. I set it down at 30% and have not been interested in picking it back up.
Thank you to NetGalley & the publisher for providing an eARC for review.

No spoilers review: This book is amazing.. The characters are well thought out and the plot with spice.. Lucy Score is becoming one of my favorite authors and i love that she writes longer than average books!

I've only given this 2 stars instead of 1 because the writing and general plot are good. The problem is that these main characters are two of the most annoying insufferable characters I have had the displeasure of reading. I hate to say it but our female half of the main couple is just terrible. Nothing she does makes sense and not in the fun romance novel way where nothing really makes sense but it's fun. Paige isn't fun. She's hardheaded in the worst way, deliberately obtuse and this is one of the few instances where I was rooting for the male love interest to actually give up on his pursuit.

Great book! I loved Paige and Gannon; particularly his earnest efforts to win her over. She and Gannon's sister Cat are both strong female characters. The story is sweet, steamy, emotional at times and I loved reading about the families whose homes the show repaired. Can't wait to read Cat's story!

This book follows page as she navigates trying to have it all. Love, a successful career, and friendships.
I didn't not feel a huge attachment to Paige. I felt that she was petty and impulsive at times. She habitually jumped to conclusions over and over without letting people explain the situation. The MMC was honestly a much better character in the book.
I love me some Lucy Score but this one was just not that great for me

Sexy and sweet! Love reading this new book from this author and all feeling the heartbreak along with our main characters. Read this for a wild ride!

Another cute, easy read from Lucy Score. Enjoyed the characters and look forward to hearing more in the next book featuring Cat.

I think I definitely would’ve given this book more stars if it had been about 100 pages long. Because that’s when the book could’ve ended. But Lucy Score kept adding more and more into the book and it lost my interest. It was upsetting because I did like it until after that point. I felt that way about a previous book of hers that I had read but I felt like it was nice cause it tied up a lot of loose ends. But this one just kept creating loose ends that weren’t there before just so the book could continue. I gave up on reading it after a while.
Like I said, it’s not a bad book. I did like the characters and the plot idea of the book. But once I realized that Lucy Score was just writing stuff just to write stuff, I couldn’t do it anymore.

Cute romace with an HGTV twist. I enjot pretty much everything Lucy Score writes and this was no exception. This was quick read and I enjoyed the dual point of view of the main characters. I would recommmend this one for sure and look forward to reading the follow up. I want to thank NetGalley and SOURCEBOOKS Bloom Books for the arc in exchange for an honest review.

Paige and Gannon had intense, immediate chemistry from the beginning. At first, Gannon was a bit of an alpha and a bit overly aggressive but he demonstrated character development as the book progressed which I appreciated!

Absolutely loved Gannon and Paige. Gannon went above and beyond to show Paige how much he loved her even before he knew it, and even tho, she continued to push him away. That shower scene is my absolute favorite. As always Lucy Score does amazing.

This one redeemed my faith in Lucy Score. I tried one of her other series and couldn’t get into it but this one drew me in immediately. I loved the misjudgments and the forgiveness and the eventual understanding between these characters.
