With fun tropes like second chances and friends-to-lovers, this book is perfect for fans of Casey McQuiston. It’s an enjoyable read for fans of heartfelt romance.

Everyone I Kissed Since You Got Famous by Mae Marvel has this cool, effortless vibe. It's a catchy mix of laid-back indie pop with a little bit of emotional punch.

I have been striking out with romance lately and was about to take a break from romance books all together, but I am so glad I gave this one a chance. It was so refreshingly good! I enjoyed the characters, their development, the dialogue. It was a very enjoyable read!

Everyone I Kissed Since You Got Famous by Mae Marvel is a delightful and steamy sapphic romance that perfectly blends Hollywood glamour with small-town charm. The story follows Katie Price, a former small-town Wisconsin girl turned A-list actress, who unexpectedly finds herself back in her hometown. There, she reconnects with Wil Greene, a woman from her past who never quite left her heart, despite their separate journeys over the years.
Wil’s life has taken an unconventional turn—what started as a personal challenge to kiss someone new each week has turned into an unexpected sensation. Meanwhile, Katie has built a glamorous career, but something about returning home brings her face-to-face with the one person she never quite got over. Their reconnection is instant, passionate, and full of the kind of raw, magnetic chemistry that makes this romance so irresistible.
Marvel’s writing is witty, emotional, and full of heart, capturing the tension and longing between Wil and Katie as they navigate the complexities of their past and present. The banter is sharp, the steam is undeniable, and the characters are wonderfully layered, making their love story both heartfelt and exhilarating. Fans of Casey McQuiston and Alexandria Bellefleur will find this a perfect addition to their reading list.
Everyone I Kissed Since You Got Famous is a sizzling, feel-good read about second chances, unspoken desires, and the kind of love that’s worth waiting for. It’s a must-read for anyone who loves a good friends-to-lovers romance with plenty of heart and heat.

Unfortunately this wasn’t for me. I could not take the writing and characters. I had to dnf. Thanks to the publisher for my copy!

"Everyone I Kissed Since You Got Famous" by Mae Marvel is a steamy second-chance romance with a fresh premise. I picked it up because it was a comp for Casey McQuiston fans and I concur! Thank you to the author, publisher and NetGalley for providing me this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Didn't care for it. The pacing was off for me, the whole book was so slow and all the talking between characters was boring. I probably would have DNF-ed it if I didn't get an ARC.
Thanks to NetGalley, and the Publishers for the eARC.

The plot and idea were really interesting—so much so that I finished the entire book—but I felt the execution fell a little flat. The writing style wasn’t my favorite. It was very “show and tell,” which didn’t leave much room for imagination. On top of that, the run-on sentences made it hard to follow at times, and I think breaking up the text would have helped keep the reader engaged.
That said, there were definitely things I loved about this book. The two main characters are smart, witty, and strong women, and their banter had me laughing out loud. It was refreshing to see such straightforward communication between them—no unnecessary miscommunication drama here! Their relationship also had a little bit of spice, though most of the romance stayed behind closed doors, which I personally appreciated.
Even though the writing didn’t click with me and it sometimes felt like the story was overwritten or trying too hard, the emotional depth kept me invested. This book definitely had me feeling all the feels, and I enjoyed the connection between the characters. It might not have been perfect, but it’s worth a read if you love strong female leads, witty dialogue, and an emotional romance.

I am so glad I picked up this book a second time! Reading this around the winter holidays definitely enhanced my ability to enjoy it. While I felt the dialogue was stilted and pacing was slow at times, overall this is a delightful book that follows some of my favorite tropes: second chance romance, famous/not famous. It's so nice to see gay representation in the steamy genre too!

I'd give this book 3.5 stars! I was so into it in the beginning, it had me hooked on the history between the main characters. It began to feel like it dragged around the 60% mark, the story slowed down and another plot point was discussed for the rest of the book. It felt a little long because so much happens in the story, but I have to say the writing was beautiful. The conversations between the main characters were so heartfelt, incredibly realistic and filled with so much emotion. Also? This book was incredibly hot. It's filled with sexy banter and tension.
I'm definitely looking forward to reading more of Mae Marvel's works.

There was not a huge amount of conflict in this romance but that didn't bother me one bit. Very cozy and romantic with two leads that you actually wanted to see get together.

This book had so much unnecessary fluff. I thought the Wil was so interesting but Katie is so surface level and I feel like I didnt know anything about her. There were a lot of words but they weren't saying anything. I expected to like this way more than I actually did. I will be reading the second book because I crave this genre but this was very hard to get through and way too long. 2.5 stars

I wanted to love this and appreciate a more representative approach in a romcom, but the book just dragged and I kept not coming back to it. :(

Everyone I Kissed Since You Got Famous by Mae Marvel is a charming and heartwarming romantic comedy about a Hollywood star who reconnects with her childhood best friend. I love a Hollywood rom-com, so this one checked a lot of boxes, and it is a delightful read filled with witty banter and heartwarming moments, making it perfect for fans of romantic comedies.
Many thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for sharing this book with me.

Setting: Wisconsin and California
Rep: two sapphic protagonists
It's taken me a while to get round to this book but I'm so glad I finally did! It's a long read - it felt far longer than 368 pages; I would've guessed 450+ based on the time to read the eARC on my Kindle - because it delves a lot into feelings and deep conversations. I found Katie and Wil to be a really refreshing pair because they COMMUNICATE. I can't explain how good this was to read in a romance. Such good communication. An all-round great romance, though not nearly as holiday centred as I thought it would be.

Thank you to NetGalley and SMP for the ARC in exchange for an honest review
I would recommend if you're looking for (SPOILERS)
-f/f contemporary romance
-second chance
-best friends to estranged to lovers
-over the holidays
-it's always been you
Honestly could not be more obsssessed how this book acknowledges how horny kissing can be. The sexual tension was incredible.

So many things I loved about this one:
- Really loved the main characters’ dynamic and how they are true to their ages. Didn’t feel too old or young.
- Wil’s kissing project and how it’s never a negative in Katie’s eyes.
- Love how TikTok didn’t feel out of place or forced, clearly the author knows social media well.
- Hollywood also doesn’t feel forced, author knows it and is well versed in its many avenues.
- Spice was phenomenal and sweet.
- Beanie, ugh, my queen.
- Diane, ehhh, an annoying queen
- Characters were very open about their feelings, even when they weren’t ready to share, they communicated that.
Maybe I’m riding on the high of how much I loved about this book, but currently can’t think of a single negative. It was wonderful. Only question I’m left with: is Busy Phillips aware of her role in this? LOL

"Everyone I Kissed Since You Got Famous" by Mae Marvel is a delightful and witty exploration of love, fame, and self-discovery. The protagonist’s journey is filled with humor and heart, and the author’s writing is sharp and engaging. Marvel deftly captures the complexities of growing up in the shadow of fame while navigating relationships and identity. While the book offers a fun, fast-paced read, some parts feel predictable, and the resolution might leave some readers wanting more depth. Overall, it’s an enjoyable and lighthearted novel with relatable characters and an entertaining plot, making it a great choice for fans of contemporary romance.

I really wanted to love this one because the premise, title, and cover all intrigued me, but unfortunately it wasn't for me. I struggled to get through the book and didn't find myself wanting to pick it up. I didn't connect with or relate to the main characters. There wasn't much conflict or character development to really hold my interest. I'm not sure if it was the writing style or the dialogue, but I just struggled with it.
Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I loved everything about this book! The slow burn up to the first kiss, the open and honest communication between the Wil and Katie--and the pinning!! Wil and Katie were friends in high school, but then Katie went off to Hollywood and Wil stayed home, eventually becoming a viral sensation for kissing a new person online twice a week. Then Katie comes home and the two have a second chance for something they hadn't really recognized themselves as having back in high school. This book felt like a warm hug and I can't wait to read more from Mae Marvel.
