Who knew a suspenseful romance was just what I needed this week?
I enjoy the way Lori Foster writes her characters. There’s no annoying traits that drive me insane. While there are occasional secrets, these are adults, so they’re acting as such and childish behaviors are kept to the children, or dogs. Plus these interconnected standalones are perfect if you read them out of order. Each book has its own couple and set of issues.
Watching Diah come out of her shell was fun experience. She was definitely more nervous and jumpy, and with very good reason, but being around Memphis, and even Remmy, helped her work through them and gave her reasons to stick around.
Of course all the side characters make this even more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be finding Madison’s book and I look forward to reading Remmy’s, cuz you KNOW he has to have one.

I was given an early copy of this book in exchange for a review.
In this second book in the Osborn Brothers series, we find Memphis opening a run down campground. He hopes to stop criminal activities which either take place at the isolated campground or get information about such activity from meetings that take place at the campground. Enter Jedidiah Stephens, Diah to her friends. She's a girl on the run who wants a job at the campground. Sparks fly between Memphis and Diah from the beginning. Read this one to find out why Diah is really at the campground and the trouble that ultimately finds her there.
Another great read from Lori FOster! I personally enjoyed this book even more than the first book in the series. I really liked the characters and especially Tuff the dog! I found it hard to put down!

Diah is the fearless one. She doesn't know that, but she is. Memphis recognizes it right away, but she has had a lifetime of being beat down and doesn't realize just how strong she is. Diah just knows that she needs to find something at the campground. She doesn't know where it is or how to get it, but she will find it. Memphis doesn't want anyone sticking their nose into his business. He is setting up this old campground to catch some people and he doesn't need an innocent person nosing around. Memphis knows that Diah is hiding so many things, but he has to be patient so she will trust him. Tuff is such a cutie and is so protective of Diah. When the danger comes to the campground, Memphis is ready, but he didn't know that Diah's danger and the person he is after are the same. When confronted, Diah realizes that she really is strong. Will she take a chance on a life with Memphis?

I really enjoyed this book. I really like Diah and Memphis both as characters. Diah shows up to the campground that Memphis owns to try to figure out what happened to her family years ago. They both have some secrets and don’t trust each other when they first meet. It is fun watching them learn to trust and care about each other. We also have the great addition of her dog Tuff. He adds a lot of light moments to this book. Lori foster gives us a wonderful addition to the Osborn Brothers series.

Memphis Osborn bought a rundown campground in order to keep an eye on shady characters that are known to be in the area and stop their plans before they happen.
Jedediah Stephens is a woman on a mission to find out the truth behind the death of her family. She ends up at the campground and talks Memphis into hiring her so that she can look for answers.
The chemistry between them of the charts but the more Diah finds out about the past the more she fears something will happen to Memphis. Can she trust that everything will work out or will she lose him too?
Another good story by Lori Foster

Wow! I loved Memphis's story! Jedidiah (Diah) Stephens come to the campground Memphis owns to find some closure to her past. Getting involved with Memphis wasn't in the plans but it certainly makes a good story! I wish this series would continue, there aren't anymore Osborn brothers, but I'd love to see what happens to Remmy! I did see the twist ahead of it being revealed, but it was done so well that you just gradually figure it out.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. This review is based on an ARC from NetGalley, courtesy of the publisher.

Again, Lori Foster has hit it out of the ballpark with this second book in the Osborne brother's series. Memphis and Diah meet unconventionally and slowly learn to trust each other. When Diah reveals her reason for traveling to the campground Memphis recently purchased and is renovating, he's surprised and on awe of her fearless nature
It's fun to have the author incorporate characters from previous series and the first book in this series. I'm hoping the next story is about Remmy and Lane even though not technically a brother. Although part of a series, there's enough background provided that it can be read as a standalone, but why would you want to!
Although I received a free ARC eBook from Net Galley and the author, all thoughts and opinions are my own honest feedback.

3.5 stars
Book 2 in the Osborn Brothers’ series is the story of Memphis and Diah and I found this to be an enjoyable read. I loved how protective Memphis was of Diah right from the beginning even knowing she is hiding why she wanted a job so badly at the campgrounds. The thing is, he too was pretty secretive of why he had even bought the campgrounds in the first place. Memphis was so kind and patient with Diah, he really wanted to earn her trust. As the two work together (along with the help from Remmy, who I hope will get a story too), they become so much closer and they start to see how perfect they are for each other. They definitely had great chemistry. The suspense and drama did keep things interesting. I am hoping to see more from this series.
I received an ARC of The Fearless One from Netgalley, and this is my honest review.

The Fearless One by Lori Foster
Book 2 Osborn Brothers
When Jedidiah (Diah) Stephens and her dog Tuff arrive at the broken down campgrounds in the Colorado Rockies the last thing she expects to see is owner Memphis Osborn singing while taking an outdoor shower. And Memphis sure hadn’t expected company in this remote area. To say it was a memorable first meeting would be an understatement.
To make things even stranger Diah, as she prefers to be called, is insistent she was sent there for a job as a maintenance person. Memphis has no idea what she is talking about and has no intention of hiring her! Where did she come from and why was she really here?
Memphis has his own reasons for opening the often unsavory camp grounds but what reason could Diah possibly have for wanting to work in such an out of the way area? And what was she running from?
Diah has her own tragic secrets and exploring the campgrounds was part of her plan to find the answers, but only if she could get Memphis to hire her!
The interaction between these characters is amazing and I enjoyed every moment of this action packed story. Add in a fabulous cast of characters, and you won’t want to put this book down! Give yourself an after Christmas treat!

She needed to leave. She needed to discover the truth behind her family's demise and the notes that Glover had left after his passing. She could have driven but it was best for her to start on the road to the Colorado Rockies. Jedidiah packed what was left and necessaries forTuff, her beloved dog. She knew the clues would be there. The old campground where the family visited would hold the answers Diah needed to know.
Foster’s latest journey in the Osborn Brothers series features Memphis. He was the tech master of the family; good looking, pleasant and intelligent. Suddenly he changed his path and bought an old campground that was known for its trouble. He planned to clean it up,make it a secure safe place for families on their visit to the mountains.
The Fearless One will be published on December 26, 2023 by Canary Street Press. I consider this a delightful new suspense-filled Christmas gift from Lori Foster. Her Osborn series is a good one to read and this one is absolutely outstanding. It is truly one readers will not want to miss. So looking forward to a third gem in this series. Do Enjoy!

I love Lori Foster's books! I've really enjoyed the Osborn Brothers (almost as much as I loved the McKenzies!). This book had everything I was looking for: great characters, tons of suspense, a sweet love story.
Jedidiah (great name for a woman!) is so suspicious and self-protective because life has been hard. Her past haunts her every day. She's searching so hard to find the truth while avoiding those who would prefer to see her dead. She tries so hard to maintain her separation and independence, it's kept her alive this far, but Memphis is just too appealing. He's strong, smart, wily, sexy and so dang nice! And he really respects her and is equally attracted. Even as she begins to trust him and fall for him, she's keeping her secrets close.
Memphis was lucky enough to have a secure, happy childhood but he's smart and capable with computers, surveillance and bad actors. He's so taken with Diah's strength and character and he's absolutely capable of helping her.
As the two fight the bad guys and race the clock, the suspense is amazing. We see a bit of the McKenzies and Memphis's brother and sister-in-law which I loved. There was just so much to keep me turning the pages. This is probably my favorite genre and Foster is one of my favorite writers!
Thanks to the author and NerGalley for the ARC.

The Osborn Brothers are back at it again. I was hooked from the start of the book. This was a rollercoaster of a ride with the drama, suspense, secrets and family dynamics. This has everything you need in a book with great characters. Diah has gone through so much in her short life. Diah and Memphis had chemistry from the moment she met him while he was in the outdoor shower. They were able to build trust with each other and finally break down and tell each other what was really going on and why Diah showed up. This will keep you on the edge of your seat. Very enjoyable. I received an ARC from NetGalley.

Diah and Memphis, wow, twists, turns, secrets, action, ghosts from the past, romance, bad guys, and an HEA Oh My! Love the story line. It took a bit to get to the meat of the story but, then it was warp speed and unputdownable. Loved seeing Jodi, Hunter, and Madison. I have a feeling we will be seeing a new character in another story. I have read and reread all of Lori’s books many times over, and this one has just been added to that list. Lori has an amazing talent for telling stories. Another winner. I received an ARC from NetGalley and this is my honest review. 4.5 stars

Book 2 of the Osborne Brothers doesn't disappoint with Memphis and Diah. The opening scene of Memphis singing in an outdoor shower when Diah arrives immediately brings you into the story. Each has their own strength's and weaknesses but together they make a strong couple to balance each other once they learn to trust. This book has suspense, laughter and romance while finding answers to secrets; and, of course, there is Tuff, the very lovable and protective dog.
While I loved the book, I wished we had more of a backstory on Memphis to further develop his character and reasons to connect more. Can't wait for Remmy & Lane's book.
I received an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

We are back in the mountains of Colorado with the story of the other Osborn brother, Memphis, whom we met in the previous story , The Dangerous One.
Memphis is in the midst of bringing back to life an old campground . On the surface it’s to bring business back, but Memphis has other goals as well.
Jedidiah/Diah Stephens’s life has not been easy. Surviving a fire and having lived with a man with a questionable past, she is now free to investigate the camp and finding clues about her past.
When Memphis meets Diah, he suspects she has an ulterior motive to be looking for a job, but she looks in need of some stability and a safe place, so he gives her a job. She also has managed to spark something in Memphis.
As they get to know each other and the camp grounds get ready for customers, the danger arrives and seems to intensify as do the feelings.
Will they be able to overcome the evil that is after Diah? Will Diah allow Memphis into her heart?
This was a wonderful story about overcoming adversity, finding a physical as well as an emotional home, and giving love a chance to blossom.
The author manages to give the readers all this, while adding some humor as well as characters from other series.
Another winner by this talented author.
I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

I am a huge fan of Lori's but this book didn't grip me. I had to stop and go back. If i hadn't gotten the ARC , i would after a long time put a Lori book in the DNF .
I couldn't understand why Memphis bought the campground. He got inspired by the Mckezies who have been doing this for years and in a way more systematic way.
I couldn't gather any sympathy for Diah. I had a difficult time understanding what had gone wrong

Jedidiah Stephens and Memphis Osborn's story is one that keeps you turning the pages to find out what happens next. In this story some people are really good, others are really bad and then others are making the best of the situation they are currently in and looking for a way out. I really enjoyed this book and getting to know characters who are not what you first thought. I will say I was pleasantly surprised at how the story ends,
I highly recommend this book.

Jedidiah shows up at Memphis' barely opened RV park asking for a job. He is immediately suspicious, but also intrigued by her. She needs to find some long ago hidden evidence and then be on her way. Memphis has a plan for this out of the way RV park and her sudden appearance may put it in jeopardy, but he is willing to go along. Quickly her past comes back and things ramp up with plenty of action and suspense. An entertaining installment in the Osborn brother's series.

I've been waiting for Memphis' story since reading Hunter and Jodi's in The Dangerous One. This did not disappoint! I want to start by giving major kudos to Lori Foster because there's just something fantastic about the way she writes love stories at campgrounds (Cooper's Charm was my first Lori read and I've been reading her books ever since!).
The characters in this book are so well developed that you are instantly invested in their well-being, their emotions, their futures. Diah is on a mission to find something that links to her past at the campground Memphis now owns. She insists he hire her to do maintenance around the grounds and they instantly connect. I love a good insta-love type of story, if it feels right, if the characters are in a point in life where it's believable and let me tell you, this one I could not put down. This is a love story but also a story of hope, healing and finding out that there's a strength within you that can make you fearless when it's most necessary. I need to mention there's an adorable dog in this story - shoutout to Tuff and his protectiveness!
It was also fun to see Hunter, Jodi, Madison and Remmy all intertwined into this story. There's something about those Osborn brothers and their friends and family!
Thank you to Lori Foster and NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

This is fast becoming one of my favorite series. We were first introduced to Memphis in The Dangerous One (another must read) and since then I've been wanting to learn more about him. I absolutely fell in love with his character. While he projects a laid-back attitude, he's also very protective. Diah turns up at his campground looking for a job, but it soon becomes apparent that she's hiding something. It takes all of Memphis's patience to build her trust so she will tell him what is going on.
There are many humorous moments in this story to balance out some of the danger and suspense. I loved the progression of the relationship between Memphis and Diah, the way her past was revealed a little at a time, Diah's dog Tuff's personality, and inclusion of characters from previous books.
