I absolutely loved this book. It was the first I have read from this author and it absolutely won’t be my last. Her writing it amazing and I could envision this whole world she was creating. Both the FMC and MMC were fantastic characters and I always love dual point of views so this was perfect for me !
‘Only for Christmas’ has a brilliant storyline as well as bringing the Christmas elements into it. There are some dark themes within the story which i think brings the twists and turns that we need and keeps us on our toes.
Overall this book is brilliantly written and I couldn’t put it down, it’s a heart warming novel that has me smiling throughout.
Thank you very much to NetGalley, the publisher and author for sending me this arc ebook. All opinions are my own

I don't know if this book is as "totally fun" as the covers says but it definitely was festive !
This novel is so much more than just a Christmas romance !
It balances between very cute moments between Sarah, an HR manager in a London hospital, and Lucas, her American new neighboor who also appears to be a doctor working for a short time in the same hospital, and (trigger warning) some really less cute scenes where Sarah is sexually harassed by one of her bosses.
I don't know if the work dynamic should be that bad for a festive romance (even if Sarah has several very good colleagues, who make nice secondary characters, as is Harper, Lucas's sister).
I really liked this book because of Fred the dog and that Sarah's background explains well how she feels and why she brakes so hard before falling for Lucas. Sarah and Lucas both smartly communicate, with kindness and understanding, that's very adult.
Thank to Netgalley and Canelo for providing an eARC in exchange of a honest review.

This book was a sweet, light-hearted and festive read to get you in the mood for the Holidays! I love reading holiday books set in London and this one did not disappoint.
Fake dating turned into real love is the premise of this book and I think it was mostly done well. I do feel like more time could have been spent with Sarah and Lucas actually falling in love because it felt like they just met at colleagues and then it went from a kiss. to Lucas professing his love for Sarah. I did feel like the sparks were perfectly between the two, it just felt like the story missed a little with them actually falling in love. In the same sense I feel like too much emphasis was set on the creepy boss at the hospital and him being this super stalker to Sarah, honestly they could have done without that whole part and the story wouldn't be lacking.
Overall I feel like this was a festive and quick read for anyone who loves Christmastime in London!
**thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for the advanced copy of the book.

This was such a cute holiday book! It is charming, hilarious and digs deep into relationships, wanted and unwanted. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys romcoms.

I love romcoms and I love Christmas so I was looking forward to reading this one! It did not disappoint. Sarah, the MFC, enters into a fake dating agreement with her superhot neighbour, Lucas. They are total opposites….so how are they going to make that work?! A fun romcom is the result. Some topics were a little too heavy for this type of genre (ie consent) but all in all a cute read. I also liked the main characters were in their mid-30’s.
Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC!!

One month to pretend... or one month to fall in love?
Only for Christmas by Tracy Corbett was a sweet, light-hearted holiday romance that's perfect for fans of heart-warming romantic comedies.
In Only For Christmas, we see the meet Sarah when she enters into a fake-dating agreement with her hot neighbour, Lucas. Can these two opposites move past their differences and fall in love? You bet they can.
Sarah's had a bit of a rough go the last few years and is, rightfully so, dis-engaged with Christmas and love. I enjoyed seeing Sarah's growth throughout the book and how she pushed herself to step outside her comfort zone. Her hesitancy was perfectly matched by her love interest's, Lucas, relentless romanticism.
I struggled with the workplace conflict and found it too dark for such a light hearted book. Deeper topics of consent are tough to navigate in a holiday romance. The author handled these well, though I'm not sure if they were the right choice.
Though some of the dialogue was a little wooden, I appreciated that both characters were mature and had life experience. I loved that they had healthy communication and were considerate of each other's feeling. The epilogue was the perfect ending for this sweet story.
Overall, this was a charming and enjoyable romance that will be perfect to read tucked up warm on the couch.

What a sweet, adorable read this story was! I was intrigued from the moment I saw the adorable cover, because look how cute it is?! But, then I read the synopsis, and I knew that I was going to love it!
I loved that the MCs were older (mid-30s) and that the story dealt with real-life issues, e.g. broken engagements, divorce, heartbreak.
When we meet them, Sarah and Lucas are two characters who have been through difficult situations in life. They've loved and they've learned.
Years later, Sarah is still hesitant about letting someone in because she's afraid of being hurt. Lucas is the relentless romantic who believes that there's someone out there for them. Meeting each other quashes their preconceived notions and results in them confronting the possibility of a real relationship that snuck in through the course of their fake relationship.
I love that both characters are mature, mindful of the others feelings, and quick to apologize if they make a mistake. They are kind and compassionate people, and clearly deserve each other.
Add in the Christmas element, Fred and Mrs. Kelsey, (NOT Stephen) it's a wonderful countdown-to-Christmas read!

I absolutely adore Tracey Corbett books sanzi was eagerly anticipating this one. I will be providing a full review upon completion asap, but just wanted to share my initial thoughts. I absolutely love the fake dating troupe and usually what that leads to so that was a huge draw to this book. I love we are getting a hot dr to step in to be a pretend boyfriend fi4 our protagonist who is fighting off an over eager colleague. I just know readers are going to love this one,
Love the holiday theme and beautiful cover as well!
