I love This Special Blessing for You by Eric Schrotenboer and Meredith Schrotenboer! This Special Blessing for You is a beautifully written and illustrated book that tells kids about the Blessing in Numbers 6:22-27. I love how the Scripture is the focus of the book and how it explains it to everyone. I also love how inclusive the book is too. This Special Blessing for You would be perfect to include in a Family Devotion time or to implement in a Christian Education setting. I highly recommend This Special Blessing for You! I really loved this book! It has a great message taken from the Aaronic blessing found in Numbers 6: 22-27. It is beautifully illustrated even my 2 year-old was saying how pretty and noticing the details. Highly recommend!

What a well thought out book.. even into the illustrations. I appreciate the diversity and inclusion in this story as well as the message. I love that the book opens up with scripture and then illustrates the message throughout the pages.

Like I said, I need this one for our shelves! I also think this will be one I find myself gifting to others quite often.

I adore books that show the love God has for children. This book did just that. The story is based on Numbers 6:23-27 and it was done in a brilliant and beautiful way. I am so thankful to have received this as an ARC ebook and I will be adding it to our home collection for sure. The book uses simple phrases and text that is easy even our littlest loves can understand. The illustrations were colorful and so comforting feeling you will love how they are created perfect to express the love in this story. It shares the message that God is always with you, He has a plan for you and will help you on your way. He wants you to be you and loves every child. He wants you to share with the world that God’s love will never end and His message to love everyone. The message in this book is so wonderful and I can’t express how much we love the book and can’t wait to share this story with others. It would be a wonderful gift book for little ones.

This book speaks a beautiful blessing over your children from the Bible. It also reinforces how special they are. The illustrations are lovely and are quite diversified. I really liked that. The blessing gives lovely instructions for things we should do as Christians, such as being kind. The story rhymes and was very soothing. Upon release I plan to purchase copies for the grand nieces and my nurse’s children. I was blessed with a copy to review from NetGalley and the publisher. These are my own, unbiased opinions. The authors and illustrator are such blessings. Highly recommend.

Cute and adorable read. Given what is happening in Israel the openin phrase was very impactful. A reminder to all of us to be kind. It would have had one character arc though to make it more relatable and personal.

The illustrator has given us a book full of diversity to which every child can relate. The text is based on the very familiar Aaronic blessing found in Numbers 6: 22-27… May the Lord bless you and keep you, may His face shine upon you and be gracious to you…

Use this book to read to your children and grandchildren, your Sunday School students, and all in your presence, then go back and talk about how the text speaks to you.

For example: “Wherever we go, we carry God’s name” and “to share with the world that God’s love never ends” How can we/you do that as you go through your day? and “May your life be good news to all those you meet”

Eric and Meredith Schrorenboer have gifted us with a jewel. Now I must go and read more of their picture books.

A retelling of the blessing found in Numbers 6. It is rewritten I guess in what the author considers more child friendly language and all the lines rhyme. The illustrator definitely tried to include diverse characters but the illustrations are predominantly depicting white American children and families, I would have loved to see a more diverse selection of illustrations of different types of children from different types of communities, but just upper class American kids.

This Special Blessing for You was a blessing to read. The beautiful illustrations, the gentle wording of the text, the depiction of diversity, and inclusion, and the adaptation of the Aaronic Blesssing from Numbers 6 make this picture book one that kids, parents, and grandparents will return to frequently.

Wherever you go, it's God's love you're expressing.

The blessings of God is from the Old Testament. God keeps his promises as we love and obey his word. When we are struggling with problems, we can remember the blessings of God. This book is a reminder of the blessings of God. Love, kindness, patience, and faith to name a few. A great resource to help our children in the faith.

What a lovely little book. Gentle and caring. I loved reading it. Ideal for children. A quick and comforting read.

What a charming book.
I read it with my grandson who loved every page. It is based on the blessing I speak over him each time he stays overnight with me and so he describes this book as being " about me"!
The illustrations are very sweet and the children depicted are very inclusive and the warmth and love on each page is captured and enhanced by the accompanying text.
Many Christian books suffer from a lack of professionalism in words and illustrations, but this one is very well produced and a joy to share

What a beautiful picture book the illustrations are gorgeous. I love the book's message that God's love and blessing is there to help each child and person through out their life and that they should spread his love and kindness to others.

This was a truly joyous and uplifting book to read especially if you are having a bad day
