Angela is lost after her young daughter is murdered and her husband commits suicide. She starts stalking the man she and the police think did it. He has never been convicted and walks free so she makes it her mission to follow him and kill him. Things happen and she gets convicted of disobeying a restraining order. She is ordered to go to a group for parents of murdered children. There she meets Wendy and they plot a "Strangers on the Train" situation. They will kill the person that murdered the other person's child. People aren't always what they seem though.
As we learn about those two women, we also learn about Ruth who is stabbed and left for dead in her own home. She becomes so paranoid and is on the lookout for any man with those blue eyes she remembers. There may be more than one serial killer!
It all comes together when Angela meets Billy, who was also stung by Wendy. They try to stop her from hurting another person or family. And then BOOM! we are thrown the biggest twist that I did not see coming at all! "Hello Sweetheart"
Such a good read that will keep you involved all along with its twists and turns and that final twist! Definitely a must read for thriller fans.
Thanks to Netgalley and Atria for this book for review.

This is another superb offering from Steve Cavanagh. The premise of this novel is two seemingly unrelated individuals find one another to murder the men that have ruined their lives. They concoct the perfect crimes that will never lead back to themselves. What could possibly go wrong? This book is layered and highly suspenseful and full of twists and turns. Though the premise is laid out from the start there is so much that you will not see coming in this book. Highly recommend to thriller readers. Will not disappoint!

Thank you NetGalley and Atria Books for a chance to read "Kill for Me, Kill for You" by Steve Cavanagh. Set in New York City, this psychological thriller is everything a mystery-reader wants to pick up. To make your heart race, Cavanagh's writing manages to make you forget you are even reading. This contemporary fiction book has the suspense to raise blood pressure. Action packed, a true page turner! I have purchased an ebook version but hope to one day own the physical copy too, so that I can have it sit proudly on my shelves and I can carry it with me everywhere to reread over and over. Too good! I would recommend this to all the adults.

A woman's husband and child are gone as a result of a kidnapping. She begs the police to arrest the person she believes is responsible, but they don't. Another woman is attacked in her home and after a long hospital stay, is released. Their paths cross with traumatic and surprising results.
A little homage to Strangers on a Train, but quite different!
I have some more of this author's books on my TBR, and I will definitely read them. Exciting and suspenseful.

I had never heard of this author and knew nothing about this book, so I went in completely blind.
Wow! I loved this book so much! It is definitely one of the top psychological thriller reads for me this year!
Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for the advance read copy.

4.5
Two women meet in a trauma group having suffered horribly at the hands of someone who got away with it. They decide to kill for each other - I'll kill for you and you kill for me. This fast-paced book I read in a day because I literally could not stop reading!
My thanks to Net Galley and Atria Books for an advanced copy of this e-book.

This book was INSANE!!!!
I thought I had this figured out at least half a dozen times but I absolutely did NOT see that final plot twist coming!!!! Hands down one of the best thrillers I have ever read. I really enjoyed this one!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
Thank you to Netgalley & the publisher for a copy of ‘Kill for Me Kill for You’ in exchange for an honest review.
This was really freakin good! I’m glad that I picked this as a BOTM, even though I had a review copy.
This story was wild! While I did figure out a major plot twist, my jaw still dropped. And there were several other twists that had me gasping and saying “no way”. The last 4-5 chapters had my heart RACING! I had to know how things were playing out and it felt like it was a movie playing in my head.
Cavanagh is a mastermind in how he ties the intricate plot together, without giving too much away. I kept wondering “I don’t get how these characters connect” and then one thing was revealed, and another, and then it all made sense.
That last twist though in the second to last chapter?! Oh my god. I did not see that coming! I think my cats thought I had lost my mind when I yelled “WHAT” and they were trying to nap. Whoops, sorry not sorry 🤷🏼♀️
I would honestly give this book six stars if I could.
This was my first book by Cavanagh, and it will not be my last. I have another one of his books on my shelf and I am about to put it on the top of my TBR pile!

4.5 ⭐️. I really enjoyed this book so much and kept me on my toes throughout the entirety of the story. It gripped me from the beginning and had a fairly unique premise to the story. I highly recommend! This is my first by Cavanagh but certainly won’t be my last!

Kill for Me, Kill for You is a fantasic read that will have you turning pages untill the very end!
This book is about two women who make a dangerous pact to take revenge for each other after being pushed to the limit. What happens when something goes wrong? You will need to grab a copy of this book to find out. This was a new author to me and I look foward to reading more books by this author. The book was such a wild ride with so many twist and they just keep coming. I loved the ending of this book so much and will be one of my favorites for 2024. I love this book so much and would recommend it to any reader but especially to readers who love a good thriller. If you have read the Silent Patient then you definitely need to read this one. Thank you to NetGalley and Atria Books for this captivating read in exchange of my review of Kill for Me, Kill for You by Steve Cavanagh.

I enjoyed this book a lot. It was different from what I expected, but that was a good thing with this book. I'll definitely be recommending it to others!

Such a fun and unexpected read that I enjoyed! I'm so glad that I got the chance to read it early and will definitely be recommending it to multiple people who enjoy these types of novels. I enjoyed the characters and especially enjoyed the writing by this author. I'm excited to see what the author comes out with next as I'll definitely be reading it! Thank you to the publisher for my early copy of this book!

Thanks in advance to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC of this book!
This book started out promising to me. I was all in with the different storylines and couldn't wait to see how the characters were all related. However, when it finally came together, the result was...underwhelming. And confusing a bit especially with the going back and forth. This was okay but I would recommend kinda. I will read others by this author though!

"Oh, what a very fine monster you are. . ."
WOW! Twisty, diabolical - so good! I was hooked from the start. There are a few POV in this one but they are easy to follow and tell apart. We get Amanda, who's daughter was murdered and she lost her husband soon after. She knows who the killer is but the police can't/won't arrest him. She's angry and sad and confused. We also have the POV of the detective on her case and a woman named Ruth.
These 3 POV fully flush out the story. They keep you guessing on why you have these 3 and who they all are in this spider web of deaths and murder. At first, this may feel like Strangers on a Train but don't let it fool you. The twists are so good and will keep you wondering. I absolutely loved this one!
A huge thank you to the author and publisher for providing an e-ARC via Netgalley. This does not affect my opinion regarding the book.

this was a wiiiild ride. the writing was kind of bad, but the story kept me hooked and I flew through this. there were two major twists in this, the first one was really good and was one of those OHHH moments that felt really well done. the second one I like half-guessed and hoped I was wrong cause it felt stupid 😂 overall this was a juicy fast-paced thriller, I enjoyed it and recommend. apparently this is based off a Hitchcock film but I’ve never seen it. be warned, there is a lotttt of graphic violence in this. thanks to @netgalley for the gifted digital copy!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher!
Two women meet by chance, and bond over tragedy and a shared need for revenge. The twist throws you for a loop. Then, just when you think you’ve got it all figured out, you get mollywhalloped again. Tore through this book-absolutely loved it!

This was fine. I didn't love the premise and found the characters unlikeable but I recognize this might not be exactly my genre home either.

This was an unexpected winner for me! I’ve seen the booksta hype, and honestly didn’t believe it would live up to that…and boy was I missing out!
The characters were believable and raw. The twists were devious and brilliant. The setting of every scene was perfect. Definitely one of my favorites this year!

Steve Cavanagh delivers a stellar novel. It was a beautiful tale woven with intrigue and mystery. I really loved it.

This book was a little bit of a slow start for me only because I was trying to figure out straight from the beginning how all the characters are connected and why! I bit confusing at first but once I had it I was hooked! This book is for the lovers of strangers on the train (the book or the movie). Starts out with one woman, Ruth, being attacked by an intruder in her home - the only thing she is truly certain of is that voice and his blue eyes. She is completely terrified and is too scared to leave her hotel room or go back home. Her husband is furious the police haven’t found the suspect and don’t seem to have any leads or getting anywhere with the investigation.
Next.. 2 women meet in a trauma counseling group and one woman is instantly intrigued with the other. They swap stories after the group (they’re meant to remain anonymous but Wendy doesn’t trust Amanda and wants to google her to find out if her story is real). They hit it off.. get drunk.. and Wendy brings up an idea.. kill each others killers and then they both have a solid alibi.. just like the story. The next time Amanda is a group Wendy doesn’t show up - but the next day she calls Amanda to tell her she’s killed the man who killed her daughter and now she has to kill Wendy’s daughters killer.. TONIGHT. She does and the day Wendy disappears.. doesn’t answer her phone, is not home, and those Google articles are gone.. because they were fake!
The book alternates between Ruth, Amanda, and some other characters that keep the story interesting although I was sometimes lost but the author brings it all together in the end and it’s worth the wait! I wasn’t expecting it at all!
Thank you NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for the chance to read this ARC!
