You Grow, Girl! would be a great gift option for a graduating senior or any one in need of some inspiration. Filled with fun plant related puns and whimsical, eye-catching art, plant lovers will adore this uplifting picture book. While I generally wish for more of a story line, I appreciate the purpose and appeal of this book.

Completely adorable illustrations paired with laugh-out-loud plant puns for a fantastic read on loving and valuing each other. Wonderful!

A lovely and colorful book, filled with the sweetest rhymes and wordplay. Perfect to read with your little one, and the perfect ‘thyme’ to discover the different plants together in this book. Nathalie Briscoe's illustrations really bring so much warmth to the rhymes. Each spread could make a wonderful poster or postcard! In my opinion, the illustration style would also appeal to children younger than age 4. It’s cute, colorful and simple. Which makes it great for younger children to discover the wonderful plants and insects in this book.
‘You Grow, Girl’ makes a great gift book any plant mom would be more than happy to have.

I love a good pun book and this was full of them. My 4 year old loved all the plant pictures. Fun book.

A fun, punny book that is like a collection of love letters. Different types of houseplants are featured throughout, along with related plant puns and sweet sentiments. The illustrations are colorful but a bit subdued, with a lot of earth tones and pastels.

This is a unique idea and a nice change form all the kids books about bears and cats.

Thank you NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I'm not sure why I keep requesting children's books, but I do. This one called to me because of the adorable cover.
The whole book is equally adorably illustrated. The text is rhyming and it's basically all plant puns and punny plant affirmations. This is not in any way a "how to" about plants, it's a "good vibes only" about life! I could imagine reading this with a youngish child, but I'm actually thinking about buying it for my best friend, who shares and encourages my plant obsession.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an e-Arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This title was like reading through a collection of plant based greeting cards, but not in a bad way.
As a gardener, I found it adorable how feelings and phrases were intermixed with different types of plants.
The artwork inside the story is colorful and modern with an aesthetic feel to it that could keep younger readers interested with as the bright pages turn.

Very much going to add a hard copy of this title to my collection.

I received a free copy from Netgalley. All opinions are my own.

I read this with my daughter during tummy time. I want to instill in her how proud I am of her and how much I love her. This book is a very cute way of saying it! The plant puns are very creative. Though at times, a bit difficult in the rhyme scheme. Some seemed a bit farther of a stretch than others but otherwise I enjoyed the puns.

The illustrations were beautiful as well. Very bright and colorful. They went along with the story really well. Overall, I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to all moms with little girls. Honestly, it could go for boys too as it only mentions being a girl twice throughout the book. So could be for both!

A perfect book to inspire confidence, kindness, and self-love in girls of all ages. I'm 29 and enjoyed every minute of this book! The advice and views never age, and they're as applicable to a 7 year old as they would be to a 70 year old.

Love and growth fill the pages of this perfect little picture book, full of succulents, ferns, and soil. Read through the brightly lit pages of olives, cactuses, and humble bumblebees. This early reader book shows love toward anything green thumb and those who like to have house plants. It's simple in the understanding of all things mint and bamboo stalks. It is an encouraging read for those who want to grow their own mini garden.
