I put this series on my tbr probably about a year ago, and when I saw this one pop up on netgalley I knew I had to shoot my shot.
Wow, am I glad I did.
This book is the standard to which I shall now hold all cozy romantasy. It is diverse, nonproblematic, fun, fluffy, lighthearted, it had me giggling and gasping and checking around to make sure no one could read over my shoulder! Just pure joy! This is the perfect book to take a break from seriousness and heavy topics, and wander into a land where all the demons are hot and the heroines are as relatable as Usagi (Sailor Moon) <3
This brought me nothing but joy.
No complaints. No notes. No negatives. Just pure rococo fluffy joy.
Thank you to Orbit and Netgalley for the free copy in exchange for an honest review.

This was incredibly fun to read, if a little silly in the best possible way. It made me laugh and swoon in equal measures. Lemming's writing style is bouncy and joyful and her characters are equally so.

Demons? Dragons? Werewolves? Nachos? Sign me up!
This hilariously charming book was like a cool sip of water on a hot summer’s day: it delivered on laughs while including lots of diversity and witty banter.
I’m not usually a spice gal, but I was so intrigued by Cinnamon and Fallon’s journey that I found I didn’t mind it.
I’m absolutely thrilled that this is the first of other Mead Mishaps books to come, and I know they’ll be making their way onto my personal shelves as soon as they are released.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing a free digital arc of this novel in exchange for an honest, unbiased review.

This was a cute fluffy and kinda spicy fantasy tale. I liked it but honestly didn’t love it. The characters were great, the story was good but I needed something more that I just can’t place. I think I expected it to be funnier maybe and it just didn’t hit that spot for me. Otherwise it was pretty good

I’ve been wanting to read this for quite awhile and was not disappointed. This was such a funny story. The dialogue and interactions between all of the characters and me laughing out loud through out the book. Cin and Fallon were so cute together until they were spicy together and then everything was just yummy.
This was a breeze to read with great pacing and a fun cast. A fresh take on fantasy romcoms. 10/10

Thank you for giving me this arc!!
This is a quick—witty spicy read. Does have a lot of modern lingo. Super quick pace with amazing banter.

This was a delightful little romp that might have lacked for substance but made up for it with witty bon mots and deliciously erotic hijinks. I found the leads charming and their bickering courtship through a delightful fantasy world full of centaurs and werewolves certainly elicited more than a few giggles.
This really was charming and quirky even if the supporting players tended to bleed together a bit. I sailed straight through this and finished with a smile on my face.

This is a DNF at 15%. I can see why people really enjoy this book, I can! However it needs a lot more editing done. If a book and character feel compelled to swear on almost every page to show their frustrations and thoughts then that book isn't finished yet. I want to enjoy this I do, but the writing reminds me too much of fanfiction or something a highschooler would write, which gives me an ick when there's supposed to be spice involved. I love fantasy, I love a good unexpected romance, the characters sound fun and Cinnamon's spice farm sounds delightful. But this book is not it for me.

If you like the Ice Planet Barbarian series, you'll love the Mead Mishaps books! They're fantasy instead of scifi, but they have the same soulbond trope, the snarky prose, and the scary-hero-who-worships-the-heroine dynamic (and also all the cheerfully explicit sex scenes). Maybe also Shelley Laurenston? It wasn't really my thing but I'm glad to be able to put my finger on the vibe so I can offer it as a readalike!

Worthy of the hype? HELL YES
Since this was self-published, I've seen so much buzz about this from my mutuals and those I follow on Booktwitter, Booktok & Bookstagram. Now, it has been purchased & will be sold by Orbit; & I see even more love for it, especially with that OUTSTANDING COVER!
This was so much fun! I was giggling, laughing and just enjoying myself reading this. And I have to say, this was 182 pages yet gave such excellent character insight, world-building, setting & backstory. I was so surprised because some books have 180ish pages of info before the plot.
Cin, you were badass and so funny, and you kept it honest in this cosy fantasy; I love you, and I NEED to read the other books in this world now.
