This was such a fun read!! This story was fast paced, entertaining and the romance was the perfect amount of cute and steamy!
This was my first ever cozy fantasy read and I have to say it was a good one! The perfect amount of action and happy funny vibes sprinkled throughout.
My only dislike for this entire book was the modern slang used in a fantasy setting. I know some people love this and it did flow nicely with the story, but it’s just something I personally don’t enjoy.
All in all I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a light, fun, humorous fantasy romance story :)

I was excited to read "That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Demon" because so many friends had recommended it to me. I was not disappointed! This book was a cozy and fun read. The romance was sweet and spicy, and the overall vibes were chill. I liked the lite fantasy/paranormal aspect of the book, and it was the perfect palate cleanser in between high fantasy or hard sci-fi. I will definitely be reading the rest of the series!

This was a fun, fast-paced monster romance full of sexy fun. Good time for those looking for something light-hearted. Highly recommend as a beach read.

This was the funnest craziest book I have read in a really long time. I cackled the entire way through this. I enjoyed Cinnamon's character and think that if she was a real life person we would get along. The plot and the overall story line were fun and I didn't have a hard time following along at all. All in all this book is a riot, and I would recommend it to anyone that is in the need for a cozy silly adventure.

A new favorite! Cute of me to think I was going to be able to read this book over a few days. I literally could not put this one down and binged it in one sitting.

This book was adorable- I smiled so much while reading that my face actually hurt. It's the next day and I'm still smiling over this story. I loved almost everything about this book. It was so easy to read and the characters were easy to fall in love with. I particularly loved the characters Felix and Ambrose- from the moment they were introduced. Honestly, I loved almost every character as soon as they were introduced.

This book was very fast paced, I didn't feel like there was a lull or any bit that dragged on longer than necessary. The action scenes in this book were a blast to read, easy to follow and sprinkled in steadily enough to break up the scenes of budding romance between Cinnamon and Fallon and keep the energy and excitement up throughout the read. I was surprised with how gory some of the scenes were- not at all off putting to me I read a TON of horror and have read way worse, but I was just genuinely surprised to see such graphic kills in a fantasy romance book and thought it should be mentioned.

I really enjoyed the chemistry between Cinnamon and Fallon- they were absolutely adorable and Cinnamon is hilarious. I laughed out loud more times than I can count while reading this book. The only thing that I really have to "complain" about is that I thought some of the spicy scenes were kind of goofy. The writing in these bits came off more comical and awkward than I think intended. That could just be a me thing though.

All that to say I absolutely adored this book, and I cannot wait to get back to this world.

These two together are amazing. They have so many funny moments, and so much more. Cinnamon is an amazing care of her. She’s a strong woman. That is willing to stand up to anyone that gets in her way. She is willing to cause chaos to get what she wants. She has such a kind heart and when she sees people or demons in danger, she stands up for them. Fallon the demon yes so many things but he is a protector first. He is willing to hurt anyone that hurts or start anything with Cinnamon. I like how honest he is with her right away about what he wants. Then the way that he confesses how he wants her is amazing. Then both of them together they are very strong and they both go after what they want and that is the same thing. I like how their test one another to see how close they can get with in a few days. They have so many feelings right away and that is amazing. I also like the spice in the book because of how the author describes in detail. And I also like the fact that during the scenes Cinnamon tells Fallon right away what she wants and she’s not afraid to ask for it. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series.

I mean what can I say. Was this masterfully written? No. Was some of the dialogue cringey? Yes. Was it a lot of fun? Heck yes. Good spice? Also heck yes. Will I read more of these? You betcha, and I'll rec them to anyone wanting something quirky, fun, and a bit spicy.

I enjoyed reading this book and I had a few laughs while reading it. But I felt like I spent most of the jokes rolling my eyes. I knew it wasn't going to be a serious fantasy novel but I think I was just hoping it would be. And I know that isn't very fair, you pretty much know what you are getting when you read the title of the book.

The writing was good, the characters were what felt flat to me. I just couldn't connect to anyone.

so so so good. it was so much fun and kept me turning the pages, kicking my feet and giggling. for a short novella, the plot was really good and intriguing and the romance was balanced really well. will continue this series 100%!

I absolutely love every single thing about this series. Humor, action, steamy, lots of steamy, cute couple with lots of love for each other and did I mention humor and action? What is not to love?

That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Demon is exactly the kind of cozy fantasy I enjoy! It felt fun and whimsical, but there was still a plot and there were stakes involved. I did sometimes wish parts were a bit more fleshed out, but I believe that's just because I consume a lot of epic/ high fantasies. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my reading experience and I'm excited to pick up the rest of the series. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a cozy fantasy or a palate cleanser from some heavier reads.

What a wild ride. This was a laugh out loud, hilarious, princess bride-esque fantasy romance that i could not put down! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a light humorous read, and have sone so! Cant wait to read the next one!

This mash-up of a rom-com and fantasy was fun to read - and very spicy! I loved the humour in the story and often I chuckled out loud. The novel is fast paced and a quick read. I enjoyed both the writing and the diverse characters.
