This book has some really interesting ideas. I love the illustrations and the way that they build up over the book.

This book is an interesting resource if you want to explore the science behind spiritual awakening. It provides a conceptual framework with technical references from neuroscience and physics to demonstrate that the ego-self is an illusion created by the mind. Approach this book with an open mind, and you may find it leads you toward greater freedom and compassion. You may also find it leading you toward a lot of non-sensical word salad and manifestation mumbo jumbo.

This book contains some really deep and different ideas but, unfortunately, it was way over my head and I really struggled to understand the key concepts. The author clearly knows her stuff and if you enjoy reading books that incorporate advanced maths and physics and complex ideas I think you would really love this book. However, my idea space was not able to incorporate these ideas well enough for me to understand them, so I’m sad to say that I had to give up on the book a little under halfway through.

With thanks to Netgalley and the author for this ARC. All opinions are my own.
