Connor and Rose are a power couple. Sexy. Driven. Seemingly on top of the world, and their chemistry is scorching. But then their love gets put to the test, and you slowly see Connor’s strength shaken. It was fun to read along and get to know these characters. They’re witty, and fun and their banter is realistic and entertaining. I also love the dynamic of the “Addicted” family/friends. Each character adds something special to the story. Great read.

I have been having a fun time reading this series and liked where this book went. Connor and Rose are trying to use the paparazzi's to their advantage. They want to leak stories and create headlines to keep their children out of the news and prevent a story from being posted about Lily and Lo's sons paternity. Things go well at first but then the man who has the rights to their sex tapes moves a few houses down. Soon secrets from Connor's past are threatened to be revealed and the couple realize they may have bitten off more than they can chew.

This book follows up after Addicted After All and honestly, these books can not get any better. Usually, for contemporary romance series, I feel as though I would be over the character’s stories but the authors make each book so unique. This book picks up with Connor and Rose’s pov and I loved seeing them control the world (until they couldn’t). Their story is so special and I loved seeing their caretaking personalities come out. Both characters get vulnerable as they realize the love they have for one another. I also love seeing from their eyes of the other characters as it showcases things that they wouldn’t say. The conflicts were entertaining and I was never bored with their story. I learned more about Rose and Connor that I probably wouldn’t have and I can’t wait to get their story one more time in the finale. If you guys have made it this far in my review, pick up the first book because you guys will be missing out if you haven’t.

“Quick” isn’t a word I like when it comes to my wife. Every moment with Rose, I would extend for infinite measures of time. Even the hostile, torrid moments where she tries to light the world, and me, on fire. I love them all.

Fuel the Fire is the 8th book in the Addicted series and it’s the second dedicated part to Rose and Connor’s story. I absolutely love Coballoway in this book and the fierce emotional rollercoaster ride that is this story is. Rose and Connor absolutely shine in this book. Their fierce protection of the ones they love, sometimes at their own detriment, but these two always come out on top when they are together. Getting glimpses of Lily, Lo, Daisy, and Ryke in the peripheral is also another big plus to this book. I love how this group comes together to navigate through anything that gets in their way. Whether it be people or other outside influences.

This was a re-read of Fuel the Fire for me because the Berkley paperback edition has epic bonus content at the end. Birthday themed bonus content. How fun.

This series must be read in order to fully understand and enjoy the books. They all intertwine and add to each story. Next up is Long Way Down and I don’t know if I’m ready for a repeat of the emotions.

"Fuel the Fire" by Krista Ritchie and Becca Ritchie is a captivating addition to the Addicted/Calloway Sisters Series, offering a deep dive into the intense love story of Rose and Connor. Despite not having read all the previous books, I found myself engrossed in the characters and their intricate relationships.
The authors skillfully explore the lengths Rose and Connor will go to protect their loved ones, adding layers to their personalities and love. The revelation of Connor's past brings forth a torrent of challenges, and the unwavering support from friends like Lo, Lily, Ryke, and Daisy adds a heartwarming dimension to the narrative. The narrative confronts societal judgments and highlights the strength of true love. I appreciated the authors' inclusion of a playlist, enhancing the reading experience.
With its romance, steamy moments, and a compelling storyline, "Fuel the Fire" is an entertaining and engaging page-turner that I recommend to anyone looking for a great read.

Very grateful to the publisher for my review copy through NetGalley, opinions are my own.

Coballoway wins again!

It’s no secret that Connor and Rose are my favorite couple and characters from the Addicted series. I loved this installment in their love story! The topics covered in this book were a little heavier than I expected, but I still enjoyed it! The beginning started a little slow, but it did pick up very quickly.

Again, this was a great addition to the Addicted world!

Thank you for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review!

Connor and Rose Cobalt are the perfect power couple. That’s it. That’s all I have to say.

No, but seriously! They’re the fiercest book couple I’ve met. Connor and Rose are smarter, better looking, and more accomplished than everyone else. They fight for those they love and leave a trail of bodies behind. And their banter…Sigh. Just reading the words

“Richard.”

“Rose.”

has the ability to make me swoon. I love them so much!

I do have to admit this book stressed me out most of the time I spent reading it. Connor and Rose went through some intense situations. I even thought I might need a break from the series after it, but by the end I wanted to dive right into the next book. All of these books were that way for me. It’s such a great New Adult series. I want everyone to read it!

As for the added bonus content... It was the BEST so far! I adored the bonus chapter and all of the birthday stuff that was included. I hope the authors keep adding stuff like this to the remainder of the traditionally published editions.

I saw recently that KBR did not initially plan to write Fuel the Fire and Kiss the Sky was meant to be a stand-alone story about Connor and Rose. It definitely did feel like it wasn’t a necessary addition to the series, but I adore Coballoway and will continue to read anything the twins write.

I loved seeing Connor and Rose work together to overcome challenges, they truly have one of the strongest bonds. I also think I finally warmed up to Ryke and Daisy in this one. I just wish the main conflict around Connor’s sexual orientation wasn’t an issue. For a series set in the future, I really wish the world had been more accepting, but that wouldn’t lead to the conflicts that set up these super long series we all love.

Thanks to Berkley and NetGalley for the chance to review.
