⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | A Wild, Fast-Paced Ride with Finlay Donovan

Elle Cosimano delivers another thrilling, laugh-out-loud installment in Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice, blending mystery, humor, and high-stakes action in the way only she can. This book picks up with Finlay and Vero diving headfirst into yet another chaotic, crime-filled adventure—this time in Las Vegas. Between trying to track down Javi, dodge dangerous criminals, and somehow keep their personal lives intact, the duo’s antics are as entertaining as ever.

Cosimano’s writing shines with witty dialogue, fast pacing, and dynamic chemistry between Finlay and Vero. The stakes feel higher in this one, making it impossible to put down. While the book is packed with action and plenty of twists, some moments felt slightly over-the-top, pushing the suspension of disbelief a bit too far. Still, the humor and heart of the story more than make up for it.

Fans of the series will love this latest adventure, and if you’re new to Finlay Donovan’s world, this book will have you wanting to go back and read from the beginning. A solid four-star read that leaves you eagerly awaiting what’s next for Finlay and Vero!

I found myself skimming a lot throughout the book and still had a great time reading it. However, I do hope number five will be the last in the series as I feel like I want to know what else the author has to stay.

Ok! This is my favorite Finlay Donovan book so far! I love, love, love the way that Elle Cosmiano keeps you turning pages in utter disbelief! There are also many laugh out loud and eye rolling moments that made me stop and shake my head! I was getting whiplash!

This is a really fun one. I liked that Finlay had to try and do her sleuthing in secret while juggling her family, mom, boyfriend, ex husband and her enemies all while they are staying at the same hotel! Not to mention the delightful dog that joins the fun!

I have been breezing through these when I have an opportunity and I hope you like them too!

This book was so much fun. All the characters seemed bright and new to me again. The action was the best so far. The ending was another brain twister with the very last sentence. It had me going back thinking, "What??? What did I miss??" LOL Great fun with this one.

I don't know how Cosimano does it but the humor keeps coming. This time It was Finlay's mother who made me laugh out loud. And, while there are hints at steamy sex, I am so glad Cosimano keeps it at that, just hints. There are no graphic scenes included.

This series just keeps on being entertaining and funny. While this is far down the line in the stories, I feel it can be read well on its own. Books by Cosimano are great for those who enjoy Janet Evanovich books about Stephanie Plumb.

Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice is the fourth book in the delightful Finlay Donovan cozy mystery series by Elle Cosimano.

This series continues to be a win for me in terms of reading enjoyment. I can always count on Finlay books to be full of hijinks and a variety of fun plot hooks.

In this installment, Finlay and Vero travel to Atlantic City under the guise of a girl's weekend, but in actuality they need to sort out a few issues to get Russian mob and a loan shark off their tails. As per usual, their plan fails and in the end the whole family--and then some--end up joining the two of them on the trip.

I'm very excited for the next book in the series.

Another great book about Finlay Donovan who is always in some type of jam, but this time her ex and everyone else is in for the ride.

The Finlay Donovan series is always fun to read and this was a solid addition to it. This story built on what came before it and I don't think it would work as a standalone. It lives up to the books that came before it, but I do feel like my interest in the series is dwindling. I still like the characters and their antics though - and there were plenty of those in this one. It was an entertaining book overall, just not as fresh as the beginning of the series.

Finally and vero plan a girls trip to Atlantic City but forget to tell everyone joining them that they are there to find Javi and figure out what to do with the loan shark after Vero.

Same lovable characters, laugh out loud humor, and equal parts shenanigans and action, but with an Atlantic City spin. Probably my favorite in the series since the first book, especially since I felt like it wrapped up more loose ends than any of its predecessors but still left me wanting for more. Recommend and looking forward to #5!

I absolutely love this series! The antics that Finlay and Vero get themselves into will keep you laughing. All the secondary characters are just perfect. Cam the young techy that helps them out, Nick the Hot Cop, Finlay's mother and even Stephen a little bit, Vero's snide comments about Stephen are so funny. This book takes the crew to Atlantic City for a "girl's trip" which is anything but that. Leaving Cam in charge in the hotel suite with "Kevin Bacon", The situations Finlay and Vero find themselves in are priceless. Her children trashy the hotel room... I don't know how Elle Cosimano comes up with these ideas and weaves them into a 5 star story, but I will follow Finlay and Vero anywhere. I hope there are so many more stories to come. Thank you to NetGalley for allowing me to read this again and fall in love with these characters all over again.

Finlay and Vero plan a girls' weekend in Atlantic City in order to pay off the loan shark Vero owes. However, they also have to rescue Vero's boyfriend, Javi. But because these books always have to be the most extreme, Vero and Finlay can't travel alone. No, Finlay's mom, her ex-husband, and her two small children have to join them. But that's not all, Finlay's police officer sister, her girlfriend, Finlay's police officer boyfriend, his ex-partner, and the FBI join them, too. But even with all that, this book isn't as absurd as the Finlay Donovan Jumps the Gun.
The reader will have to suspend belief to understand Finlay’s and Vero’s actions. I wish the author wouldn’t try to cram every absurd scenario into one novel.
If you enjoyed the last three books in this series, you'll enjoy this one. Storylines finally get tied up. I especially enjoyed Finlay standing up to her ex-husband. 3.5 stars

I have wanted to read this series for a while, and when I saw that the series was Read Now on NetGalley I decided it was time to give it a go. Finlay Donovan is a writer who is mistaken for a hitman and hijinks ensue with her nanny Vero. These books were perfect popcorn mysteries for me. I laughed, I was intrigued by the mystery aspect and I had a good time reading them! A perfect read when I needed something I didn’t have to think too hard about!

I loved Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice! It was a warm welcome back to Finlay and Vero's shenanigans! I enjoy how light and funny this book is while also having strong elements of mystery. There are laugh out loud parts mixed with anticipation of what's to come. I have read the previous Finlay Donovan books and loved how this one really combined the whole group of characters - Finlay, Vero, Steven, Finlay's mom, and of course, Nick the hot cop! I can't wait to start Finaly Donovan Digs her own Grave next!
