Ok, this was my favorite Finlay Donovan book so far!! I could NOT put this one down. Apologies to my husband as I ignored him all night to finish this in one sitting.
The characters, the interactions, the hijinks, were all perfect in this one. Loved loved loved it!!!

Thanks to NetGalley and Minotaur Books for the bundle of Finlay Donovan books in exchange for an honest review!
Listened to this one on audio and it was so much fun! I have quite missed Finlay and Vero’s shenanigans.
The way my jaw continues to drop in various moments - Steven, ex-husband, refusing to let Finlay take the kids without him. Mom coming along on the “girls trip”. The cops/Nick showing up in Atlantic City.
I really love Finlay and Vero’s friendship. During this book I also found myself loving Sylvia’s remarks too.
PS. THE DANG CHEERIOS!!
I’m so ready for book 5, Finlay Donovan Digs Her Own Grave.

Finlay and Vero are at it again! This time we are taking a road trip to Atlantic City and everyone is along for the ride! I absolutely love this series. It’s fun, interesting and wild! I feel like I agree with other reviewers that I have to ask aren’t there cameras in casinos??? Anyway what a fun ride and I can’t wait to see what happens next!
Thank you to Elle Comsimano, Minotaur publishing and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Just like the first 3 of this series, this book was action from first to last page. The trouble that Finlay and Vero find is amusing and worrying lol. How could anyone's luck be this bad? She swears no more dead bodies, and then she stumbles on 2. Somehow its her responsibility to find the killers instead of just walking away. But there wouldn't be a story if she walked away right? I liked that there was more back story on Vero, and look forward to future books how Vero's marriage changes things for Finlay.
All around a good book, fun to read and never a dull moment.

I absolutely loved this book. It was funny and mysterious and I love all of the characters! Seeing my favorite characters up to their usual nonsense was so fun.

I read 100 pages of this book and have decided to not continue. My rating is based on what I read. Everything that was happening in this book seemed so over the top. I felt like it was supposed to be entertaining, but I found myself rolling my eyes. The series is starting to feel too much to believe and I'm not enjoying it any more.

Finlay and Vero are at it again. Headed on a road trip to Atlantic City with a few extra unexpected travelers. The characters are so fun but this was my least favorite in the series. The first few books I found myself laughing and enjoyed the storyline but this one was just too unbelievable and I found myself getting bored with it.
Thanks to St Martins Press and NetGalley for an ARC.

I was a big fan of the first Finlay Donovan series, but feel like I've lost a lot of love as the series has gone on. We've moved on from the books being fun, light-hearted humor, to just downright unbelievable scenarios. I think what draws people to the first Finlay book is that it could actually. conceivably happen, but we've moved way beyond that. I loved the Stephanie Plum series, for what that's worth! I know a lot of comparison between the two. This book is definitely not a stand alone and should be read in order.
Thanks to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

Book four in the Finlay Donovan series.
If you’re a fan of the adventures of Finlay and her nanny/side kick Vero, you’ll enjoy another adventure as they head off to Atlantic City for a girls trip that turns out to be anything but relaxing as they are joined by Finlay’s mother, children, ex husband, sister and members of their local police department. This ARC was provided by St Martin’s Press via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Every book is so much fun, this one was probably my least favourite but it was still a good time! I'm glad it seems a certain storyline has come to a close because by this book it felt a bit dragged out.

I love Finlay Donovan and this fourth installment in the series is a fun fun ride that I thoroughly enjoyed. In this adventure Finlay and her sidekick Vero take a road trip to Atlantic City on a new mission. When her ex-husband, mother and children want to go along things get confusing and hilarious!!! I always look forward to reading the adventures of Finlay Donovan!!!
Thank you netgalley for providing several of this series to read and review!!!

This book was so incredibly fun. I really enjoyed it, I think as much as I enjoyed the first book. This book was just action packed enough. I liked that so many characters were involved in the story without the story feeling too busy. Everything was done in just the right amount.
I think that is was a good choice to have them in a whole new location for this one book. It added a new layer of excitement and gave the characters more room to do things and to show us a different side of themselves. I also think it was great to see the cast of peripheral characters in new lights, given that they're not the main part of the story but still very involved. I love that Vero is also getting more of a storyline and it seems like the two of them are coming into their own. I love their banter, the realness of some of these relationships and just watching everyone be equal parts funny, serious, and flirty.

Being the 4th book in the series it hasn't lost its charm. Hair raising fun throughout the book. I think I read this out of sequence but this is what I love about it.

This book picks up right where we left off from the previous, after Finn and Vero leave the police academy.
The characters make this series great. I envy the level of friendship Finlay and Vero have, they would do anything for one another. This book was extremely fast paced and easy to read, the entire thing taking place over just a few days.
As much as I enjoy this series, this book veered into some really far fetched scenarios that have entertainment factor but for a suburban housewife? yeah, no. But that won't stop me from reading the next.

Finlay and Vero are on the road for a much needed girls trip to Atlantic City unfortunately they have a few extra unexpected travelers join them at the last minute. This is quick trip quickly turns into a rescue mission and places them in the middle of a crime scene. These two roommates always seem to end up in the wrong place and suffer the consequences. I loved this latest installment of Finlay Donovan. The characters are so well written and developed keeps you wanting more. I am so happy I found this series! Already looking forward to the next book.

I think this was book 4. Loved the characters and the continuation of this story line. Hilarious at times!

Another in the series. This time Finlay is in Atlantic City looking for Vero's boyfriend and hoping to avoid various crime bosses. I don't think this can be read as a standalone -- there are just too many ties to previous books. While these are entertaining, I began to lose interest. The storyline is just too preposterous. The intent is for humor, but at times it descends into just silly. This book seems to end the series in a satisfactory way. The series was a nice distraction, but I don't think I'll look for any more like it.

What was supposed to be a girls' trip to Atlantic City to save Vero's childhood love interest quickly turns into a family road trip complete with mom, kids, and an ex-husband. Soon characters from the past few books all seem to end up in Atlantic City. Finlay and Vero have to get creative and be extra sneaky this time.
This one had a lot going on, but it did wrap up some of the storyline. I liked that Finlay is finally figuring out and building on her various relationships. Another fun, quirky addition to the series.

Another engaging read but this time with new scenery! Finlay is doing her best to get herself out of another mess and hilarity ensues. Recommended for fans of the series. Thank you to the publisher for allowing me to read this e-galley!

This was a fun read and a great addition to the series. It progressed some storylines and wrapped up others. I really liked the position it left the series in and I'm looking forward to reading the next book. The prologue was great. I'm so curious where the next book will go with it.
