I love Finlay and Vero’s friendship, so many repeat characters, which is always fun, the hot cop, the antics, the craziness, I can’t get enough!

Hey friends, I just finished Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice (number 4) by Elle Cosimano. We support a woman's rights AND wrongs here. I love the female the end of this book in the series. If you
haven't tried it, it's such a strong series. It's funny, murdery, and thrilling. 4 ⭐️ 1 🌶️

Okay, get ready for some action! Our heroine and her sidekick are headed to Atlantic City to rescue Javi. Of course it doesn't go as expected, cause its Finlay. They end up with an entourage accompanying them. The kids, the ex, and her mother. Let's not forget that the cops end up there, too. Her sister, the girlfriend, Nick and the crooked cop. One big happy disaster.
Juggling all these characters and keeping the story going took a master. Luckily, Ms Cosimano is such a master. This book was funny, emotional, terrifying and hot. Sometimes all at once. This is by far one of my favorite series!
Thank you NetGalley and Minotaur Books!

Another hit story of the shenanigans of Finlay Donovan. This time, she is in Atlantic City, up to no good as she attempts to help Vero. These stories always keep me engaged and wondering what antics will follow for Finlay and her sidekick.

This book was a wild ride. I loved it! This is one of the best written series I’ve ever read. The story of Finlay & Vero hasn’t lost any steam as the books progress. Can’t wait to read the next one!

The craziness continues with Book Four. I was curious to see where this book would take me after the ending of the last book. And what a ride! Complete chaos in a good way. I do think I’m ready for no more ex-husband. But then, doesn’t everyone say that about an ex?

A girls trip to Atlantic City gone wild!
Finlay and Vero are headed to Atlantic City but not for the shore and gambling. They’re negotiating with loan sharks, saving Veros childhood crush and on the lookout for a stolen car… not your typical girls trip. Add the fact that Finlays mother and ex husband crash their plans and join them on the road trip makes for an even more wild adventure.

Finlay and Veros antics and adventures do not disappoint! Head to the suite of a notorious loan shark, have some hometown cops knock on your hotel door, dogs named Kevin Bacon- you just need to read to find out what happens! Does Finlay get more than she bargained for or does she win big?

Finlay and Vero continue their story as they take a road trip to Atlantic City. (You really need to read this series in order to understand it.) This book is as slapstick as the last and Finlay and Vero's lives continue their bizarre trajectories. If you like Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series, you'll love this series.

This series continues to entertain, with increasingly wild shenanigans that throw Finn and Vero into the path of danger, despite their best efforts to avoid it! The journey to Atlantic City shifted the setting into a world just about as insane as their antics warrant, and that made for a lot of fun - particularly in the villain department. There's also a Weekend at Bernie's feel that I find entertaining. I liked seeing Cam's character develop more fully - he's a great addition to the regular cast and a great way to bring out Finn's mom instincts and point them in a new direction. I look forward to seeing where the girls go next!

Finlay and Vero's madcap adventures continue; this time in Atlantic City to settle Vero's debt with a loan shark.

This book was just “meh” for me. I felt like I was reading it because I had to finish it instead of reading it because I wanted to finish it. I can’t quite put my finger on what it was.

This was the best book of the series by far! There was so much happening in this book and I loved it. I don’t know how anyone could get bored reading this book because it was action packed! Vero and Finlay go at it again, getting themselves into trying to solve murders and mysteries, but this time in Atlantic City. The book was nonstop, the author made you want to keep reading to figure out what was going to happen next. I am super excited to see what Vero and Finlay get themselves into with the next book. I hope it is as good as this one!

Oh Finlay and Vero. This is another great installment in the Finlay Donovan series. I did not think I would enjoy this series as much as I did.

I laughed out loud the most in this book. I think this might have been my favorite of all of them. I cannot wait to read the 5th book.

Do yourself a favor and read OR listen to these books. I really enjoyed the audiobook version. Just as it with the other books, Finlay and Vero's antics were highly unbelievable but greatly entertaining.

Bravo!

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Now I am forever a faithful Elle Cosimano reader.

Laugh out loud funny. I continue to tell people how amazing this series is. It is amazing how Elle Cosimano exists in a space touching multiple genres and does it so well. Can not wait for the next book.

I have been wanting to read this series and I’m so glad I did! Each Finlay Donovan book is full of shenanigans and humor with a mystery that keeps you guessing along the way. Finley and Vero are back and this time they're in Atlantic City and the antics don’t stop.
I hope they never stop making this series! Many thanks to the author, St. Martin’s Press and NetGalley for a complimentary copy of the book. The opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.

This was laugh-out-loud funny! While there was a lot going on with Fin’s kids, ex-husband, mom, cop boyfriend, and cop sister all in Atlantic City, it worked thanks to the hilarious and creative touches, like a dog named Kevin Bacon, gambling escapades, and strip clubs.

Vero and Fin are back solving clue after clue, handling dead bodies, and just when they think they’ve got it all figured out, a new twist hits. I still love that Finlay is actively writing books in the middle of all this chaos.

The tension between Fin and Nick turned up the heat, and I was so eager for them to find Javi after reading Vero Breaks the Bank. Their dynamic is so fun to watch!

Just when I thought everything was perfectly tied up, another cliffhanger hit. What’s next in this series? I need it now!

I always look forward to new books in this series and Rolls the Dice did not disappoint! I love how the author sets up the next book with a teaser in the epilogue

Yet again Elle Cosimano knocks it out of the park! I don't know how she makes such a zany, fun mystery feel so relatable. Finlay Donovan feels like that character you want to be best friends with, but that she might actually get you in trouble. (She probably would.) I love the threads that are getting carried throughout the whole series! But honestly I think you could read each book as a standalone. (But you'd be missing out on a great time with the other books!)

#4 and WOW! is still my go to word for this series. Can Finlay and Vero get into any more trouble? They have a laundry list of things going on in their lives: a dirty cop, a girl's trip to Atlantic City with Finlay's mom! and a stolen Aston Martin worth $300,000 just to list a few. Making things worse, her sister (a cop) and her boyfriend, Nick, (also a cop) show up with two members of the FBI. If that was not bad enough, Finlay's ex-husband comes with them, kids in tow.

Finlay is still struggling with her next book. Most of what she writes about are the high jinks going on in her life. They went to Atlantic City to find Vero's boyfriend, Javi. Between the Russian Mob, the dirty cop, finding the Aston Marten and a flash drive, they have to find Cam who is the only one who can break the code on the drive. You may need a score card to keep who's who straight.

It all works out in the end coming from someone who I never would have thought about. If you haven't read the first 3 books in the series, you definitely need to do so before trying to make sense of this one. Hard book to put down.
